Old, almost rundown, but well-maintained, in the heart of Bordeaux small rooms, but just right for the transient tourist or visiting. This place not really suited for families or children. Very reasonable price breakfast can be included if desired, but we chose to eat out, so many choices w/in 10 min walk.

Location and cheap price and elevator only good thing really , would be 2 stars for me without the location. I’ve been around Europe for 8 weeks in various places this is the worst shower it leaks everywhere too small so get stuck in the curtain and it goes all over the floor , no window or fan in bathroom , no fridge no jug or air conditioning and our only view is a smelly old roof. Rooms are quite smelly and has a water pump going 24/7 that is very loud banging through the night which was irritating , wifi also very bad and outdated otherwise location is really great! And it has a lift which is nice

Have stayed in better hostels. You have to walk to another hotel to check in, then back round by the smelly bins to access the dirty entrance. The lift is tiny and the rooms barely big enough for one person. There is NO aircon or any other basic amenities (not even water!). They want to monitor what you’re looking at on the internet so they’ve blocked access to VPNs, oh and the shower is like a game of Russian roulette, where you’re risking either being cooked alive or frozen to death…

Fantastic for a cheap break to Bordeaux, unstaffed but very secure hotel. We had 2 large double beds, not window or ventilation in toilet, clean, in need of a refurbishment, but for the price and location, I'm not complaining. Would recommend and stay there again

Not a bad hotel for the price and location. Minimalist, small room: great for if you just need a central place to rest your head and have a private toilet, sink, and shower. My biggest complaint is how ridiculously slow the wifi connection is: it was even slower than my international cellular connection.

Very small room in an old small hotel in the center of Bordeaux.
You have to go to another hotel to get the keys since there is no reception.
The room has a small bathroom and a tiny window for vendilation that if you open it,everyone in the corridor can see you through it.
It was very warm since there is no air condition.
Avoid definitely during the hot months of summer.

You have to walk 100 meters to another hotel to check in and back another 100 m punch in a code open a door take an elevator and finally reach your closet

Great location righ across the Grand Opera theatre with the view on it. Extreme cleanness in the rooms. Very helpful staff. They have an elevator so you'll nit have to climb up the stairs with your suitcase)
As long as this hotel does not have own reception you should check in at "4 soers" just 100 m away around the corner. So for check-in head to that hotel first.
