I stayed last week for 4 nights. This is about my 7th stay there and it honestly gets better each time. The hotel runs like a hotel should. It is extremely clean and well organized and has a very positive energy throughout. The staff are exceptional! You are warmly greeted by everyone and it is genuine. I arrived quite late at night and was checked in by Florian & Kenhn you were so great and welcoming...
I don't give 5 stars that often but this hotel deserves it! From the impeccable cleanliness to the lovely view, friendly and helpful staff, it is top notch, and for a very decent price. I'll absolutely be back!
We have just returned from a four day stay at the Hilton. The hotel and trip was great especially the hotel which in my opinion is very well located. Close to the train station and about a 10 minute walk to the nearest tram stop. The hotel is very modern with a nice bar and restaurant The staff were the biggest asset and very helpful. There are enough bars and restaurants close by to provide a good...
We stayed two nights. I wish it could have been longer. The service was first rate. The hotel is modern. The rooms were bright. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and a waffle maker. The dinner was good too. The fitness center was well equipped and of a good size. What could be improved is the number of power points in the room and the addition of USB charge points.

Excellent service from the staff. The food was fantastic!
Clean rooms and comfortable beds. It's walking distance to some really spectacular sights in Bordeaux. The AC controller doesn't seem to make an impact on the temperature in the room
Situated on the south bank, a little in land and in a residential area, the hotel is well located for many local attractions. The staff were extremely polite and friendly - nothing was too much for them to make the stay better. The main area of the hotel looks a bit dated, however the rooms are being upgraded so assume this will be transformed at some point.

Kinda expensive but worth it. We even came back again rooms clean. Good beds. Nice amount of space. Right in the center of the old town but room very quiet. Breakfast: ok nothing special but you would need to do a bit of walking to find another place less expensive.
We booked this hotel as part of an EasyJet package. An absolute delight. The location is superb, only minutes away from the beautiful old town, restaurants and shops. Indeed, the longest shopping street in Europe is moments away, as is the splendid Garonne, with boat trips and lovely walks. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the breakfast varied and plentiful if desired. In short, then,...
Having not travelled for a long time, the hotel and staff provided the best welcome and service. Staying as part of a larger group, the staff helped with many recommendations, assisted with booking, and were so welcoming. The hotel is very well located and the rooms well appointed.
Great location right in the center. Friendly welcome from the reception staff. The hotel has 2 separate buildings. I stayed in the one with a more contemporary design in the lobby, which was up on the 1st floor. Lobby & breakfast room nicely decorated, but guestrooms were a bit bland, but comfortable. Worked out well for my 1 night stay.
Excellent location. The view from the room wasn't that great other wise I would have given this a 5
Private hotel for tourists. The location was excellent. The hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are cozy, equipped with everything necessary. There is a discount at a nearby car Park. All within walking distance.

Very nice and good value for money. Secure parking, clean and simple , comfortable beds and good shower. Exactly what we needed as a break on a journey but would be quite happy to use it as a Base for visiting the city.
The hotel was very convenient! The location was excellent, easy check in and check out, it has an elevator! The best thing was the handy phone that they provided! A smartphone that you can carry with you during your stay, with unlimited local call, and unrestricted internet navigation! It was excellent for us, as we are foreigners and we have to pay a lot of money to use roaming. There was a small...

A great location to stay at in Bordeaux. Across the river from the main part of Bordeaux but near a tram stop and walking distance from some great restaurants. A great place to stay if you go for a concert in Bordeaux. We stayed here when we came for Lenny Kravits and for Elton John.
Good room, location and overall hotel. Service at front desk was not so great. There's very little explanation of what's included and what's not and you have to clarify and ask for everything! Beware, ask more than once if the cost of breakfast is included in your room, because they will market it like it is, but then they will casually ask you if you've had breakfast at the end of your stay and charge...
Good, though basic, functional rooms. Unfortunately no kettles available. Uncomplicated and helpful staff. Definitely worth the moderate price. You can save the 10 Euros for the breakfast by using the Cafes located 20m to the left and right of the hotel
As per usual with my past IBIS hotel stays the room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable and large, wooden floors are a bonus as you can tell they have been vacuumed and cleaned properly. Great location in that you can stroll into the city or catch a tram located the next block over from the hotel. There is also a Carrefour Supermarket 2 doors down so easy to op out and get a snack if...
Absolutely an amazing hotel! The staff is really friendly and helpful; the wifi is amazing; the location is perfect. It's in a more quiet area of Bordeaux and it is walking distance to the city center and public transportation. Also, the hotel has spa nights and dance nights, so I recommend checking their website to try to stay there during one of those events. They are so welcoming and really make...

Good reception feeling welcome. We were recognised as the guesta been there just 2 wks before. Helpful staff. We left the hotel very early in the morning, were offered coffee since the breakfast was not ready.
Helpful staff
Good service
ibis Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint-Jean is a good hotel to stay for a few days, 1 minute walk to the train station (convenient for day trips to Arcachon beaches) & also the local tram to take you into the city centre. Try to get a room in upper levels & off main street to reduce the noise levels. The €11.90 Breakfast was fairly standard & clean.
Location is good, very central and easy to get around, layout of the room is not great.
perfect location just in front of the train / TGV station and the river ! the room is ibis size with good walking shower. Hearty continental buffet breakfast for all familly.

Good location and good price. Rooms also are nice. To improve: wi-fi very low which is very disturbing since I work 2-3h per day and was a terrible experience. Pillows: used and bad qualities: woke up with back and neck pains + had to sleep with my coat as a pillow for two days (we were three in the rooms no one was using the pillows since we had the same experience, one was using a towel as a pillow...
Can’t beat the location and the room was clean, outside of that little redeeming about the hotel. The rooms were very small (nowhere to open a suitcase) and everything was dated.
Old. Shabby. Location is great though
Little bit shabby round the edges and room could do with a good vacuum in the corners. But, typical city centre 'guest house', like old London style. Full of history, Wagner stayed here with his mistress. Bed comfortable, bed linens very crisp and clean. Breakfast was a super fresh continental buffet. Super filter coffee. I chose it as I was travelling alone and its bright outside, Great position,...
We enjoyed our one-night stay here. The room was very spacious with three comfrotable beds overlooking a busy square. Lovely big bathtub and good location.
Great location, no frills hotel, definitely recommend

What an amazing experience! Absolutely loved staying at this hotel, right opposite the Wine museum and close to the tram. A bit away from city centre but easy 30 min walk/20 min tram. Highly recommend staying here and would like to commend the front desk staff who were so helpful and friendly. Cherry on top was the adorable anniversary surprise we got in our room :)
Great Location and a “wow” factor on the hotel design as they have re-purposed old silos. The service was top notch and great.
Positive-Service upon entry, bathroom/shower, and cleanliness. Cons-Bed was SO soft (it was so soft I almost gave a 3 star), AC was worse than another hotel in Paris that was a lower star, the room service was limited (not what is expected for a 4 star property), and the bar had limited hours.
Stayed 3 nights with a friend for a girls getaway.. Cons: 1 - seating downstairs on the sand, don't sit there during the evenings as the critters come out of the sand and you get bitten like mad 2 - went to the pool, and there is an outdoor terrace. we were told we could not sit there until after 5pm, then when we came out at 5pm, only to be told we can't sit there after 5pm..?? apparently, you cannot...
The hotel's location is conveniently situated next to a food market and wine museum, with a tram station 5-minute walk away. The room was generally satisfactory, though we experienced a temporary power failure. Promptly notifying reception resulted in swift assistance; however, it was advised to avoid using bathroom wall plugs to prevent further blackout. While the hotel staff offered to relocate us...

Clean and quiet, small room but okay. Booking site said there was a bar open 24 hours but, no, no bar at all. Breakfast was continental for E7.50 and okay.
For what it was, fine. You pay for what you get. Things are simpler and smaller than standard Ibis but were still clean and functional. Breakfast available but I’d recommend the Colombus & Co cafe next door as a better option. No in-house dining options but not far to find other possibilities. Staff were very friendly.
Good, economical. Specially if you book on line. The guys are very friendly. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss though!
Great location. Clean and modern, but the bunk over the main bed isn't great. Very easy to knock your head off it. Bathroom is tiny bit modern and functional.
As always Etap hotels offer decent value for money. We had a room for 3 (double bed and 1 bunk bed), small and with a small but practical bathroom/shower. The shower has a semi transparent window so may not be appropriate for a mixed group. The heat was also very tough for us to take especially since the window can no be opened larger than 5 cm.
Simple yet well located just across the street from the train station and the bus to the airport.Cleaning service in room does not include the upper bunk bed.Air condition was broken and although was working in the main areas did not work in our room and the staff did not really care about it although we asked for help. Breakfast is extra .It's basic and ok.

Nice hotel handy for center only a 5 minute tram ride out of centre, nice room with a shower comfortable beds and pillows, very clean and tidy, car parking is under ground with a small fee.
Basic but clean. Not very exciting. Much cheaper than other hotels just across the bridge if you don't mind the short journey across. Very accessible for Bordeaux city centre.
We rented a room for three people and one of the beds was not even prepared. The room is clean but is not as comfortable as we expected.

Beautiful boutique hotel, very creatively remodelled Comfortable room with large beds Very good breakfast Industrial look rooms that were quite spacious and had large windows Friendly staff
Great atmosphere, very clean rooms. With kind people working here, be sure to try the white Sancerre!
This hotel was a very cool oasis in Bordeaux. The rooms were very unique and modern and had great amenities. The breakfast was some of the best food we had on our trips. And the drinks were really fun, beautiful, and delicious. The location while walkable and close to the train station didn't feel the safest. But overall we had a nice stay.
Stylish hotel in a building that was a former university. We stayed at the hotel for a week. However, mixed service experience. I speak fluent french and my wife is french, so language was not a factor. Front desk staff helpfulness was dependent on who was working there. Some days they were great, other days they were unable to recommend even a restaurant. Other aspects of the service were great...
We stayed 5 nights. Great design, nice hotel that's a bit different. Everything clean, well built and comfortable. Two reasons why it didn't get 5 stars: have to pay extra for everything (spa, bikes) and our room got cleaned even if the do not disturb was hanging on the door. Overall great would for sure come back :) didn't try the restaurant except for coffee, beer and charcuterie...

Loved the stay! Beautiful hotel, safe private parking, the area around the hotel looks very nice! The hotel is dog friendly, the dog can even go with you to the breakfast and our dog loved the stay. We got upgraded to a corner superior room that was very beautiful and spacious with a very big bathroom. The beds are very comfy! The breakfast is delicious and full of choice!
Starting to really love staying in the Radison Blu hotels. While each is very different, there is a consistency of both standards, and hopeful staff. This one stands out because of its close proximity to the waterfront, restaurants and its very own rooftop restaurant and lounge.
Ok, the hotel is nice. Nice rooms clean good shower. Not sure about the cage like grids in front of the windows but not bad. The roof bar is lovely, when open. Breakfast was good. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Now The restaurant and bar Warm champagne Limited availability of wines Extremely slow service (I understand the shortage, I work in the industry. I’m staying here for a few nights and it’s an unfortunately soulless hotel. Sparse rooms with furniture that’s pretty basic. The whole place just seems to lack any emotion or effort. The lobby staff are helpful though. The rooftop feels like it’s getting ready for a soft open; not somewhere that is already operating and the staff feel disinterested. The food is poor. Just don’t eat here. It’s not...

A casual, fun, modern hotel in Bordeaux. Thanks to the complete silence and great black-out shades, we slept great!
Very comfortable hotel. It's nothing too luxorious, but it's a hotel that knows what level they want to be at and achieve that perfectly. Decent breakfast, very comfortable rooms, fairly close to the tram station of Cité du Vin and 20 minutes away from the city centre. Highly recommend it for weekend get aways and travels with young people. Maybe not so good for older folks, as they have to walk a...
Really great hotel. We had an issue with the room which was sorted out exceptionally quickly. Would recommend visiting if you want a relaxed atmosphere that is good value for money. There is also a great food court right next door which we visited multiple times. The only consideration is whether you want to spend your time in another area of Bordeaux but its a nice walk along the river to get to the...
Ceiling of room isn't my cup of tea. It looks unfinished. The bed was comfy. Room temperature you can easily adjust. Cleaning service was good. I ordered the plate of spreadables - Moxy Mezze - which had a really funny taste, don't know if it was weird spices I never tasted or it was a bit expired. Tzaziki was pretty plain and hummus too salty. Breakfast could have more choices.. Variety of drinks...
I found this to be a strange experience. First of all the industrial decor is ok but it had the feel of being a youth hostel rather than a hotel. We had a very poor experience checking in as there was confusion about the rooms, and ours had been given to somebody else. All very strange and a little concerning. So check in was stressful, a struggle, and time consuming. Eventually was able to enter the...
Super clean, modern and pleasing rooms. Mattresses are really hard though. Staff are super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is for the breakfast. Fake powdered eggs are used for the scrambled eggs, the pastries were dry and hard, and the coffee wad terrible.

Great location 5 minutes from Tram stop and train station. New, clean and convenient. Friendly staff (thank you Ornella), spacious room and good breakfast. BONUS: soap bar where you can choose your own soap and shampoo fragrances and take them to the room. Unique and fun.
We stayed here for 5 nights. The location of the hotel is very convenient, walking distance to Gare Saint Jean. The bus stop to the old town is just cross the street.
