Where to stay in Bordeaux

Location was 10minutes walk from Citi du Vin and 5 minutes to a bus stop. Enora, the receptionist, checked us in on our first day and checked us out. She was friendly, helpful and professional. Our room great size with twin beds and clean and comfortable.

This time we were only able to book a smaller room than before, overlooking the busy road at the front which was, needless to say, noisy. Loved the stay! Beautiful hotel, safe private parking, the area around the hotel looks very nice! The hotel is dog friendly, the dog can even go with you to the breakfast and our dog loved the stay. We got upgraded to a corner superior room that was very beautiful and spacious with a very big bathroom. The beds are very comfy! The breakfast is delicious and full of choice!

Starting to really love staying in the Radison Blu hotels. While each is very different, there is a consistency of both standards, and hopeful staff. This one stands out because of its close proximity to the waterfront, restaurants and its very own rooftop restaurant and lounge.

This hotel saved us quite literally. More specifically Sebastian at the front desk was an angel! He was able to arrange a room for us very last minute and made sure we had everything we needed! One of the best hotel experiences i've had personally.

Excellent location, walking distance to the Bordeaux St Jean station, which will get you anywhere in the city/country. It's also close enough to walk to the city center where the museum, church, historical sites and the riverside shopping district. Staff here is excellent, very helpful and the room is clean & roomy, will definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at Mercure Bordeaux Centre-Ville hotel. The staff was very helpful and answered every request. Breakfast was nice with a lot a choice. A very good trip in Bordeaux, thanks to the hotel team.

Very nice and clean hotel. We got the breakfast in the room because of COVID and it was super good and you could choose between sugary, salty or a mix, so that was really nice!! The only bad thing was that I called 2 days before and they told me there was room service but when we arrive they told me it was closed that day...

Ok-level, standard rooms and bathroom. Everything with a slightly brutalistic vintage feeling. Breakfast was the best. Nothing extravagant but very good quality in the food.

Hotel staff are friendly, and the hotel is located quite centrally with easy access to shops and sightseeing. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit shabby and run down. Breakfast is pretty good though.

The air conditioner didn't cool in one room, but I have a different room and it's cooling. I spoke to the front desk about the one that wasn't working and he said "He asked his technician to look at it." It had been over 10 hours and nothing changed. The cooling wasn't that bad though because it was still cool outside so I opened the window. If you come in summer, just know it might be a problem...

Had an amazing experience at this hotel. Would recommend to anybody. Location is perfect with tram outside the door and fabulous views of the lake. Pool is also very nice which can be hard to find in Bordeaux. I would like to give a special mention to Clemence on the reception team. Went above and beyond to give us recommendations and ideas. A modern conference hotel perfectly situated for an overnight stay on the edge of Bordeaux - close (but not so close as to hear) the motorway network. The restaurant was fine and the reception and service were very friendly and helpful. Secure parking with a short easy walk to reception was a further plus. It might be different if there was a conference taking place, but in mid-July it was very calm

The guy who checked us in was very friendly, the rest not so much. Bed was very hard, pillows to low. At 3 am the firealarm went of... we still do not know why and didn't get any excuus for this brutal wake up call. I spent a few days in Bordeaux in this hotel. It was affordable, clean, a good bed, free parking space next to the hotel. Location is a bit outside of the city center, but the city has excellent electrical bike rental services. You are within minutes in the center. Also, breakfast is 6.85 Eur, so very affordable.

Friendly and polite staff, very helpful throughout our stay. However, the room was not clean, and something was biting and irritating us, which made the stay uncomfortable and needs urgent attention. On a positive note, the hotel amenities and restaurants are excellent, with a great breakfast selection and a quality Italian restaurant.

What an amazing experience! Absolutely loved staying at this hotel, right opposite the Wine museum and close to the tram. A bit away from city centre but easy 30 min walk/20 min tram. Highly recommend staying here and would like to commend the front desk staff who were so helpful and friendly. Cherry on top was the adorable anniversary surprise we got in our room :)

Everything was great. Nice clean rooms with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast buffet was also good with warm options and a lot of healthy choices. My only suggestion would be to be mindful of the amount of people behind the reception desk as there was a huge line and it took a very long time for checkin even with a prepaid reservation.

I arrived late and hungry after a long journey - they made me an lovely toasted sandwich served with a very nice red wine. The breakfast was worth the cost, excellent choice.

Good breakfast and very nice staff. Rooms are standard ibis, so clean and comfortable without much character. But the location is great - steps from the train station and a short walk from many city centre attractions. Easy onsite parking is also available.

Great pit stop. Lovely room and really good value for money. Also comes with kitchenette which is amazing given the price. We didn't purchase breakfast as we had food which we stored in the fridge. Also parked across the road for free. Walked into town. Leisurely stroll took about 15 minutes.

Situated on the south bank, a little in land and in a residential area, the hotel is well located for many local attractions. The staff were extremely polite and friendly - nothing was too much for them to make the stay better. The main area of the hotel looks a bit dated, however the rooms are being upgraded so assume this will be transformed at some point.

Ceiling of room isn't my cup of tea. It looks unfinished. The bed was comfy. Room temperature you can easily adjust. Cleaning service was good. Super clean, modern and pleasing rooms. Mattresses are really hard though. Staff are super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is for the breakfast. Fake powdered eggs are used for the scrambled eggs, the pastries were dry and hard, and the coffee wad terrible.

We have stayed twice now and think we will be using it again in the future. Bit if an issue if you arrive later in the evening as the reception is not manned but we also had a communication issue of our own so can't mark them down for that as they did try to phone. Good location! One tram station (tram A goes to the airport and city center) and bus stops (including bus G goes to the Saint-Jean train station) are right in front of the hotel. Have a restaurant on the ground floor good to have a coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. The services and staff are very nice and kind but the room was dark, small, only have least amenities.

We had a 2 nights stay in the hotel and had a great experience. We checked in late, around 22h and got and Amazing big room. We were 2 people and the room was probably for 3 ppl as there was a sofa bed in case. One of the best parts was that there was a small corridor with the door in between. 2 doors were perfectly redusing the noise coming from the corridor ( happy and noisy people checking in...

Do read the reviews. There are two hotels in the same building. The ibis is very good. I have not been to ibis budget. Breakfast buffet is nice but as others have mentioned, no vegetables, very little fruit, so as vegan/vegetarian travelers bring your own. Auchan in walking distance. Coffee actually quite good.

Stayed here for 4 nights in a Junior Suite. Large spacious room. Hotel location superb, within easy walking distance to all attractions and many restaurants. Hotel staff super friendly and very efficient. Would definitely highly recommend.

It was fantastic pool was technically a bath! Rooms were perfect i found it spacious enough inside the bathroom but we had to wait for a long time to get our room ready and there was a fire alarm ringing outside my room at 4 AM lasted for a bit everything else was great,Thank you for reading

My wife and I stayed at the Le Boutique Hotel for the first part of our honeymoon - the room and service were fantastic! An extremely spacious bathroom with separate shower/tub and a toilet with a bidet. All service members were very friendly. Restaurants, and shops you need are within walking distance. I adore this hotel! Literally the kindest staff ever and such a comfortable and cozy vibe to the whole place. It’s also in a great location! They coordinated an entire day of wine tastings for us including a driver. Next time I visit Bordeaux, I’ll definitely be staying here again.

We were in Toulouse just for the night as a stopover, so we weren't looking for anything fancy. Just clean and close to the train station. This delivered. Staff were friendly.

Brand new hotel. It is a good solution, in particular if you have meetings in the area. Very close Cdiscount office. The hotel is clean and has all basic services. Rooms are pretty large.

We stayed for 3 nights at Residhome. This is a new hotel with free parking. Great view of the new bridge and not noisy at night. Very clean with a great bathroom, small kitchen and comfortable beds. Would stay again. Staff are very friendly. Sally

Great value for money and location wise, restaurant is open until late so you can get a dinner. The service in the restaurant could be better but then again it's a small team to do everything, the taste is nice though.

Located near the highway , so useful for a night when on a long road trip. Also the restaurant open until 23h is good for that. Beds were very small/narrow and far below the known ibis standard for comfort. I requested an invoice on name of the company during reservation but got it on my own name. When requesting it again at the reception they finally send me the same again.

The hotel is fresh and modern downstairs with a nice bar and grill restaurant onsite, but the rooms are a bit basic, which is expected. The staff were friendly and great with our dog. There is a lake next door to walk around and good public transport into the centre.

Clearly not a recent hotel, some updates were made, but some details still need to be fixed. Rooms were clean.
