We stayed here with our group of 34 high school students and 6 staff. Of all the hotels we stayed at on tour, this was the least impressive. Rooms were dirty and many things broken based on reports from students. My room had urine splattered on the side of the sink / countertop in the bathroom (photo attached). There were a number of spiders in the dirty hallway (carpets looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in years) or were just really really old. Breakfast was pretty skimpy but they didn't have a nice selection of cheeses. And the gentlemen that was at the font counter was just pretty grumpy. Some of my students had send their spoons back with their dishes after supper and needed new spoons for their desert course, and he was kind of rude about it. And he was a little stand-offish upon check-in etc. Just didn't get a very friendly feeling at this hotel and wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel is very big, but the air conditioning is very hot and almost non-existent. The front desk was willing to give me an extra fan, which solved the problem, but the restroom is still very hot. There are no cars at Disneyland after 12 o'clock at night, and there is no one on the street. It's scary.

The place is remote, there is a long distance from Caen to North Caen, and transportation is inconvenient.

One of those hotels that is so ordinary that you can't remember much about it afterwards. Having said that, apart from being seriously overpriced for what you get - a very cramped room and bathroom - it was OK just for one night until you can find something much better and cheaper.

Small rooms, bar only open for dinner time and a limited menu, cheap, but museum and good resturants a short walk away. Plenty of parking. Normandy beaches close, as is Bayeaux Tapestry. Mont St Michel is a couple of hour drive but worth it. Staff are friendly, the food and wifi are all good. Shops and petrol station nearby - Overall a good stay

My mum and I stayed for 3 nights here from Tue 17 Oct as part of a Leger holiday coach tour group.
The hotel manager and his team were unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful towards us during our short stay.
Our room (#48) was compact but provided everything we needed. The twin beds were super comfy and the bathroom was brightly lit. We were both very impressed with how clean everything was.
I give 4 stars for the location simply for being out of town in a commercial area between car showrooms so no stunning views outside. This didn't really matter to us as we were out every day sightseeing on the coach, at least the location meant it was nice and quiet at night!
We booked dinner at the hotel for two nights and opted for the full 3 courses along with a bottle of wine. The dining area was very pleasant and cosy. We thought both meals were superb and extremely good value, and our waitress was lovely too. We both commented on the quality and how it put the usual offerings in our larger hotel chains back in the UK to shame.
For us a nice big breakfast is one of the treats we most look forward to when on holiday. Pleased to say our mornings were breakfast buffet heaven. Lots of choice and everything was fresh and yummy...Oh the croissants and coffee....mmmmm. With 3 coffee machines there was never a long queue so we went up for several refills. Such a nice way to start the day.
On our final morning the hotel team even laid out a full breakfast buffet at 5.00am just so our coach party could set off early. We thought that was very impressive.
My mum and I both had a lovely time during our short stay and we would be very happy to stay at this hotel again.
To the manager (Mr Eric I believe?) and all his team we would like to say "merci beaucoup". You should be very proud of the service you provide. Best wishes.

We stay at Brit Hotel for business reason. Reception is fast and friendly. The rooms are as expected for a 3 star hotel, clean and bed is comfortable. The bathroom is dangerous because to get a shower you need to climb over the bath tub; and when get out you can slip and fall. The hotel is at 3 km of the universities.

Just stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on a Leger battlefield tour. The rooms are OK but the breakfast was probably the worse I've ever had in France and that is already a very low bar. The baguettes weren't fresh there was only 1 coffee machine for over 100 people. Tinned fruit salad. No hot water for a cup of tea I could go on. The staff are completely disinterested and unhelpful. I would recommend staying somewhere else if you are in the Caen area.
