Paying the full rate for a 3* Hotel, I was given a room with the shower cabin at 40 cm from the bed head, and the toilet in a cabinet separated by a flimsy sliding door next to the shower cabin. The window shades did not work reliably. I was told that I got this room as I was travelling alone, and that a photo 31/33 on their site showed the disposition.
The hotel has 5 rooms on each of its 4 floors that have reasonable layouts and one on each floor which is as this one, under par.
Breakfast ok, but not more.
Personnel otherwise helpful and friendly.

The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly & helpful, would definitely choose this hotel if we are to ever pass through again.

Clean, tidy, great location couldn’t ask for better. Great value for money.

Hotel: in central location with some noise from a club across the street.
Rooms: are oldish but ok for 1 or 2 nights.
Cleaning: is ok but nothing special and the old carpet is stained and looks bad (as is normal for any hotel with carpets).
Breakfast: I couldn't get breakfast because I had to listen to the manager's shouts (read story bellow)
Service: TERRIBLE. And if you don't speak French it's better for you to pick another place.

Good cheap hotel but in an area with a lot of nightlife so keep your window shut if your room is on the street side.

My husband and I recently stayed there for a few days on vacation. The rooms are small but clean and have comfortable beds. It was just a short walk to the rail station. The breakfast was really nice, and the staff was wonderful as they were always available and helpful with information and restaurant recommendations. Also Isabel helped arrange us a great tour of the Normandy Beach area and Caen Memorial Museum. She and her husband helped make our stay memorable.

Exceptionally clean. Bright comfortable rooms...beds very comfortable. Excellent staff-very friendly and helpful. Good location. Offers breakfast for a small charge and parking on street and off street is available.
