After a ten hour drive with two children and two dogs, we were stopped at eurotunnel pet reception due to our vet appt being less that 24 hours prior and told we were not allowed to travel until the following morning. After a horrid experience we were SO lucky to find Hotel Meurice who had two beautiful rooms available and were more than happy to take our two dogs. The lady at reception could not have...
We were there for a couple of nights, having stayed there many years ago. The hotel has been totally redecorated from top to bottom as well as the bedrooms and has regained its grandeur, as the decor was getting quite tired and old. The staff is extremely polite, welcoming and helpful. We didn't take breakfast at the hotel (15€) but you may have coffee and a croissant for 6€, which was not an option...
Fantastic hidden gem. Classically styled and very spacious. Rooms are of a good size with excellent on suite facilities, even have monogrammed towels! Staff are very accommodating and the breakfast offers many options. Excellent location with easy access to the centre. Parking a plus. Will use again.
We stayed just one night on a 2 week vacation throughout Europe. This stop was primarily for rest and the Hotel Meurice was the perfect spot for that. The rooms were cozy, clean and luxurious feeling.
It is an old fashioned hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are clean but the rooms lack modern touches like charging sockets for mobile phone. Coffee making facilities in the room very basic with bottle of water left for guests. The parking in the basement is good and accessible by lift.
Stayed here as part of a group for the first and last night's of an 11 day trip. I loved it. This hotel has real character. Our room was small but bed was very comfortable. High quality bed linen and towels. Nice soap. Good selection of breakfast items in a very grand room. We were made very welcome.

Very spacious room ' Opel suite '. Nice breakfast buffet. Beautifully polished hand calved wooden walls in the eating area. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the bar was closed due to Corona
Great old hotel. Perfectly located by the train station near the town centre. A real old world charm
My first night in France on this trip through Europe. Not a bad start. The hotel was clean and comfortable and at the price it gets my good rating. It’s also very close to the station Calais-Ville which I was grateful for as I was heading to Paris on the train with my bicycle. I was able to put my bike in the courtyard behind closed doors with a night watchman so I felt comfortable with that. The reception...
We had a pleasant stay in this hotel, and admired it’s old-fashioned style. The employees were always so kind and welcoming that we all felt at home. The breakfast is moderate (well, compared to German hotels), but neat. Free parking is a nice bonus. Great location. Several tips for the hotel staff: toilet brush in a room and a little trash bin on the breakfast tables would be very helpful. Will be...
Very lovely little hotel in the middle of calais. 2 walking minutes to the city cent. The beds are very comfi and the staff is very friendly!
From the outside it doesn't look much, bit the inside is nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and helpful

Good reasonable price friendly host. Evening meal was nice breakfast a little bit limited. Ideal for a stopover with plenty of parking space easy access to the motorway network.
Fourth stay, same as usual, convenient for early(ish) sailing. Food a little expensive but nice enough. Friendly staff again.
Very friendly, clean and well presented, very warm welcome.Breakfast was very good. Plenty car parking space and so handy for the ferry. One constructive comment, need a none slip mat in shower tray.Very well priced, would not hesitate to stay again, highly recomended.

We had a short stay passing through northern France and I would recommend this hotel! It's central location is good for sightseeing and also accessible from the autoroute. Wonderful local restaurants and reservations for the hotel parking are a must! The hotel staff were welcoming and Abigail at reception is truly outstanding! We had an amazing stay thanks to Abigail.
The rooms were good for just an over night stay, the rooms were very clean and very secure. The hotel provided small treats inside the rooms and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was good and the cafe was very nice. Plenty of space and plenty of breakfast foods. Overall it was a good hotel.
Great location in the hearth of the center of Calais. Busy nightlife around the hotel. Parking in front of the hotel is available free for only 15 minutes but a few minutes walking away there are free parking spaces are available. Hotel is clean and simple.

Very good hotel, excellent reception. Fantastic location. All round good experience, 3rd time been their and look forward to next visit
Good quality all round. Very helpful staff. Easy to walk into the town if needed. Also very close to the port.
Functional rather than 'special', but extremely conveniently located near the town square, its restaurants and bars. Easy to park directly across the road even with the summer fun fair in place just along the street. I wouldn't describe the view of any part of Calais I've seen as pretty, but the view here is at least interesting, looking out as it does on to part of the coastline and some docks. Staff...
Conveniently located near to town centre and port. This is an express hotel so has the basics and is more than suitable for a short visit. I was there on business so more than met my requirements.
Great place to stop, they were very helpful after another hotel over booked and had no room for us. Beds were very comfortable after 30hrs of no sleep. Breakfast was ok. Would stop here again!
Warm welcome, clean, comfortable beds and reasonable food. Perfect for a night before or after crossing the channel.

The hotel was clean and quite handy to stay over after a late crossing from the Eurotunnel ,breakfast ok and staff really friendly.
Great staff and very convenient for the UK ferry/tunnel crossing, everything clean and tidy, room on the tight side, but it's all you need.
Boots pharmacy Diss is just one example of the huge difference between UK and European pharmacies. It's difficult for anyone who has lived in Europe to understand why UK pharmacies are so desperately mismanaged. In the majority of Europe, people working in pharmacies are qualified pharmacists, hence much quicker service without the pill pickers and till workers in between.
We stayed here on the way back from Spain before getting the tunnel back the next morning. Nice little hotel 10 mins from the tunnel, didn't have breakfast, the room was cosy and the bed was comfy, quite quiet considering an old hotel. There's a restaurant attached to it and it has a bar. Loads of parking spaces too. Would recommend...
Efficient no nonsense hotel. Good breakfast, but the restaurant was closed even on Saturday evening (Sep 2021). Does the job very well for an overnight transit stay but don't expect a nice location, spacious rooms or a French ambiance.
We stayed for 1 night, was cheap and for the price was ok but I have seen it advertised at over twice as much and tbh it is not worth that amount. It does have a 24 hour check in and the car park is free too. Rooms could do with a bit of modernizing though .

Friendly help at the reception. The room design was basic, but everything I needed was there. One of the best hotel beds I have ever slept in! Parking was a bit of an issue, but that was mainly because roadworks were going on at the time of my visit.
Small petite but functional ..... lack of sufficient egg on arrival at breakfast ...staff are nice! .. noise from other guest ? Kept me awake! .but managed to sleep eventually

Basic clean 3* hotel conveniently situated close to the main square & restaurants. Somewhat dated lift to upper floors. The table lamp & one of the bedside lights didn't work. Clean comfortable bed & a fixed shower over the bath. Basic but adequate breakfast. In-house bar was closed on the night if my stay.
This is a pretty basic hotel. Hassle free parking outside (at night at the weekend, don't know about weekdays). The room was clean but quite dated. Staff are helpful. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. The hotel is about 15mins from the DFDS ferry.
Cheap and cheerful and in a great location with a decent continental breakfast. Free garage parking was nice bonus.
Lovely hotel in the centre of town. Easy parking. Nice friendly efficient staff. Clean spacious bedrooms.
City centre, needed somewhere cheap for 1 night (before getting on the ferry). Staff were friendly, room was clean. The hotel is pretty old and looks dated... But it had under ground parking for the motorbikes... (so that was bonus tbf)... Overall, better than the tents we'd been sleeping in for the past 10 days...?

Stayed 8 nights at this hotel for work in Dunkirk. Very central location with plenty of restaurant choices close by and good location for walking around the harbour area. The hotel is as expected a low budget hotel but very clean and with a comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast(only continental) is OK, limited choice of cold cuts and would recommend the hotel to perhaps have sliced cheese instead...
Not all rooms are the same. Photos look better than reality. Good location between 1940 museum, gare, and shopping districts.
Not the best Ibis but still meets the ibis standards where you get a clean room, comfy bed, underground parking and pet frendliness with a decent price tag. But; the restaurant was very very good. We were having an unexpected overnight stay in Dunkerque, no desire to go out, just eat at the hotel, go to bed, wake up, have breakfast and leave. I have to admit that the dinner was wow. The food was great...
Very nice reception due to covid food is provided to eat in your own room. Currently curfew 06:00 to 18:00 die to pandemic restrictions
Cheap accommodation in the city center. Staff is really helpful and the hotel is clean to Ibis standards.
