Résidence Odalys Saint Loup Apart-hotel in Cap d'Agde

Adge is a beautiful town, while the residence is near the beach and city, this residence is disappointing in almost every way. Upon entry the room is not clean, the sinks, floor, and patio all were dirty. While this isn’t a big deal, I should not have to clean my own room on the first day. All of the dishes were dirty, I had to wash each dish I needed before I could use them. The bugs are another problem, while any resort will have a few bugs, my unit and other guest’s units had problems with ants and other insects. Several times a day I would return and have to spend 10+ minutes taking care of the bugs. I even had to go buy insect pesticide to make it easier. Bugs are inevitable, but the amount of insects I had to kill is embarrassing. Talking to other guests I’ve noted that many units do not come with some appliances, while many of these can be obtained from the front office, they should not have to be, and once you receive them they will need to be cleaned. The customer service and reception is not good at all. If you have any problems outside of their short window of open hours, you will need to be ready to wait until they send someone out which will take who knows how long? The staff doesn’t know either. Also, the wifi you pay for is horrible, not just horrible but unusable. You will be lucky to have download speeds of UP TO 1 Mbps. The wifi had no internet connection over half of the time I was connected. When it does work it is enough to search the web but not enough to stream any videos, movies, no video chat calls, you will not be sending pictures over messaging. Do not count on their Wifi for anything other than the occasional google search. The pool is nice but it cannot make up for numerous faults that this residence has. I would not recommend this Odalys Residence.

From what I can tell, there has been a recent change in management. The most recent reviews will note that management will not respond to emails. This new change in management, I assume is the reason that the most recent reviews seem to be lackluster at best. I cannot verify that this is the problem of course, just my rationalization and speculation from reading the most recent reviews.

Odalys responds to reviews but never seems to acknowledge that they were the problem. It is always the customer that should have done something or needed to fix their own problems.

Please do not book this residence unless you love cleaning or dealing with problems while on your vacation.

We would like to come back, but service and location must turn to a better standard! you charge quite a lot of money for the apartment!

Very bad beds, no Airconditining and for gods sake fix your damn Wifi, rooms smelled musty and were dirty. Cant even shower with the curtains broken. Was an ok experience but nor reccomendanble for vacation. The pool had bugs and kukarachas. I liked the staff.

I am writing this review in hopes to reach the higher ups. The stay is okay. But for the love of God please fix your wifi. It’s extremely annoying and frustrating trying to connect with family, difficult to do simple google search, and cannot get any work done. Please. I’ve read reviews for this place about this wifi connectivity issue and your management replied that you are working on it. That was almost three years ago. Its 2023…and this “resort” is on dial-up speed. Also the receptionists needs to change how they interact with customers. That condescending tone is atrocious(not all).
