Hotel Le Jacquemart, Dijon1 / 12

Dijon, 32 Rue Verrerie 🧭 Map
We chose this hotel due to location, as it is very close to old town and the city centre. We found parking on the street but there is a public car park 2min away. The hotel has its own charm and the receptionist was very pleasant and informative. We had family room and we are allocated the one in the 2nd floor, so we had views towards old town. The room (no 23) was spacious and enough for a family...
The service we received in this hotel is far beyond usual. We strongly recommend it, amongst the sensitive customer care, it is a place that has kept its essence, far from being luxurious its uniqueness and comfortability makes it a special place.
Located right in the city center Lovely staff that spoke English! Large clean room for good price
Our room was maybe the last they had - it was across a rainy and slippery outside place - at the back. Dark, a bit underwhelming. However, the beds were okay and the people very nice. They took the troiuble of advising a restaurant and came to bring my husbands purse with all his credit cards, which he had forgotten at the reception.
Nice clean hotel in great location.
Cheap and cheerful, loads of character, staff welcoming and helpful but the bonus here is the location, absolutely perfect for a single day / night stop.

Friendly staff. Great park near. Ist class dining.
Good parking. Nice staff. We parked our car at the hotel and rode our bikes into town along a wide, leafy boulevard. By bike it was about ten minutes into the center of Dijon. Overall, it was a fun place. I would go back.
This hotel need renovation The area is nice, but hotel need refurbishment. not the cleanest Breakfast quite poor .Restaurant also is not extraordinary .Overpriced for what is offering
Good and quiet hotel, close to public transport, bus 6, to visit Dijon. Good parking options near the hotel. The hotel itself may be a bit outdated, but the rooms are more than ok. Clean and all comfort. Located in a green area outside the city. With a good restaurant for a stay of a few days.
Hotel located in a quiet area near a large park in Dijon. Parking facilities. Rooms that smell new. The restaurant is a little cold and dreary but the food is perfect. Breakfast too. Rather decent establishment
Great location across from the Colombières park and within walking distance from the city centre. Excellent restaurant, good value for money. Ignore the negative reviews by cranky clients who expect 5-star standards for 3-star prices.

Comfortable and clean room, good breakfast and spacious packing. Only sound isolation between rooms is not ideal.
perfect reception. helpfull. speaks perfect english. also dogs are welcome. they arranged 2 rooms with a terrace on the grond floor. Good beds.
Very friendly hotel in a picturesque village at the top of the old town. Welcoming staff and clean and pleasant hotel
Great little place...a bit dear...but would come again
This place knows about great service! The host was supernice and gave abboundance of tips of where to park, eat and visit while in town. He really made us feel welcome! The room was nice and the breakfast was good. It was a bit of a tricky drive with narrow streets (not anything that should be an issue but not something you're used to if you're from a bigger place).
Excellent hotel. The owners and staff and extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are decorated and equipped to a very high standard. The beds are good quality and extremely comfy.

Very nice hotel, but no functional AC It was a good hotel.. but the ac was dead and it was 35 degrees.. to hot for our Nordic genes
Excellent location! Tidy modern accommodations. We enjoyed our stay!
Small hotel, easy check-in, very well located, clean, helpful staff. The only problem, which is independent of the hotel, is the noise from the street cleaning machines, which start at 6am.
Beautiful hotel with lots of room, close to underground parking and the heart of Dijon!
OK Great location but very disappointed with the tiny room. not worth the price at all. Decorating going on so mess on first floor. Had to wait ages for receptionist to appear to check out
Small room but recently renovated with nice fixtures. Good bed. Nothing missing for a comfortable stay. First rate, attentive, competent, and helpful staff. Great location. Nice view of Place Darcy from our window. Short walk from train station.

Service Restauration au top Accueil top et accessible Chambre propre malgré qu’il n’y ait pas de prises près des lits, et la lunette des toilettes cassé a un endroit… Hôtel idéal pour un déplacement professionnel
Disappointing Basic. Beds were clean. Room dated. Bathroom very odd. We had a family room which had a wet room style shower. It was impossible to keep anything in the bathroom dry and it even began leaking outside the room. The shower head was positioned at a very odd angle making it very hard to shower. Towels were small and very cheap. No extra pillows in the room. The hotel had a slightly weird...
Booked at late notice for a family overnight stop on a road trip. Nothing fancy but it did the job we needed. Breakfast (paid extra) was good. Powerful shower.
Great stay and the restaurant was good.
Very nice and helpful staff. We also had a nice dinner in the restaurant.
Great stopover stay…. This was stopover for us, family of 5 driving back to the UK from the south if France. Booked a family room, which had 3 single beds and a double. All family rooms are corner rooms - plenty if space and very clean / comfortable. The hotel bathroom is a little dated but very clean. Great shower over the bath - very powerful. Nothing around the area, so we ate in the hotel restaurant...

family room with hot tub. Needed that due to size of bed. Breakfast not included, therefor quite expensive. first night issues with hot tub. I unplugged the bath myself as no one was coming to fix it. Got the breakfast for free as compensation.
Some rooms are much cleaner than the others.
During lockdown. Really good service
Hotel with a lot to offer. But not at their full potential yet. Amazing shopping mall right next to it.
Stayed for just one night. The room was comfortable and clean.
warm welcome and clean. Beds a little hard. Great breakfast. Restaurant overpriced with no 'simple' food for families.

For one night, no need more. Very supportive administration. Cheap.
This place is old and dated but what can you expect for the price.. It was clean and I had. Bed to sleep on.
Our room was upstairs and the floorboards were extremely loud, not sure of the people in the downstairs room we're happy. The "main light" was rather dim but the others made that up. The bathroom was tiny but ok (when sitting on the toilet your feet easily happened to be in the shower, plus you flooded the whole thing when taking a shower). Service was friendly, room size on the small side but ok....

+ family room has option to clsoe the door for children in a separate room + location is great in the city center - rundown facility - you hear the water run down the pipes loudly every time someone on a higher floor flushed the toilet - rain shower not operable as it overflows & no water is coming trough the designated nozzles
Great lication! So close to the churches, square and all the restaurants. The front desk friendly and helpful.
Our big room for our family is on the upper floor at the end of the building, it is one of the older rooms with worn out carpet and a few sunlight windows. If you are claustrophobic it is not suitable. Disrespectful neighbours were smoking outside the foyer, although it is a non smoking hotel. Staff were all very helpful and pleasant though, makes us feel welcomed. Simple amenities. A one night stay...
Wonderful family room that was more than enough space for our family of 5. Great location near the cathedral and town centre. Lovely staff, who were incredibly polite and kind when I had accidentally left without paying. This is a fantastic overnight stop for anyone travelling to the south of France - especially with kids. Excellent value for money.
No surprises for old hotel, except maybe a very nice shower. Hotel is in a great location and room was very spacious for four.

Hotel. First-class, first-class with impeccable service. Being alone in the room, I regret, however, that I was charged a daily rate because I had booked a room with a large bed. Relatively well-maintained, secure parking.
The hotel is in a very good location, with plenty of free parking spaces. The hotel front desk was very welcoming and the service attitude was very good. The price is very cost-effective. I will stay here again next time.

not much to be said frankly. My room was facing the tram tracks and they run at 6am, sink was blocked, but guess pricing should be taken into consideration
Nice hotel close to the city center nice hotel, with new rooms, close to the city center
Well located between train station and historical centre, both within short walking distance, it is what one can expect for a cheap room: fine and nothing more. Friendly staff.
Close to the station very helpful staff
Comfortable and very clean. Lived up to its reviews. Good short distance from Le gare. You young lady on room duties went out of her way to prepare the room to perfection. Also Pedro was willing to go the extra mile. Breakfast, reception etc. thanks guys.

Good location: close to the center, but quiet. I might be challenging to find the hotel, follow the map. The food has a bathtub, the hotel was empty
For the price paid compared to other hotels in the city, I think this hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly, everything was as advertised. Good location near to the centre of the city. Perhaps an addition to improve would be a hairdryer in the room.
The hotel is located 15 minutes from the center and attractions. It was generally quiet, but the audibility is very good from the neighboring room. For 2 stars and the price, it is a good hotel.
Excellent cozy hotel, clean, conveniently located - literally 5 minutes to the railway and bus station, to the center - 10 minutes walk. My room was single, everything is clean everywhere, cleaning is daily, gel / shampoo / little replenished. The room is spacious, several light sources, there is a bedside table, there is a table for work, a large window, but at the same time the room is very warm...
Location and room were good but the toilet had a very strong smell that came back from time to time.
Short break in this hotel near the center with a very good quality-price ratio, a very friendly team who welcomed us very late. The only downside was very few parking spaces and we were fined for parking on the street near the hotel, so remember to put a small coin in the parking meter even on a Saturday morning.

Very well renovated rooms. Good staff service. Parking is quite narrow
Superb food, wonderful knowledgable servers however not 5 stars simply because my saignante (medium rare) beef was far too chewy for medium rare. All in all, very nice place.
We have eaten very well, quality products, and the place is very pleasant. No sense of trade for the boss .. we arrived at 13h (group 16personnes ) the time to serve us the appetizer, it was 13: 31 and when they came to take the order and as a result we did not have the right to take the lunch menu, which apparently stops at 13: 30... more we had two tables and we were told by the waitress at the end...
Hotel well located. Gentleman at reception very nice. The chamber 15 is clean, the bed is good. Bathroom : light over mirror did not work and only the shower head works. The plus : possibility to park in a courtyard.
Very cute and the staff very friendly and always well predisposed to help!! The location is very good. The breakfast is very plentiful and varied, well worth it! There is a small sign on the street that helps to find it easily, this in the background and in front there is a restaurant with the same name.

Excellent budget hotel. Friendly stsff and good continental breakfast
Great hotel. Nice rooms, the bed is a bit on the small side. The shower head has a bit of lime on it, so it doesn't run smoothly anymore. Everything else is neat and clean! →
Great lil hotel, close to the center and with a lovely host! She was very helpful and most of all super friendly and funny☺️👍 The only piece of criticism is that the shower head could be better/upgraded.🍀
Very close to the city center, and pretty good value for your money if you are just looking for a place to sleep. It can be a bit small if you wish to spend time here as well.
Service was great, they really are child friendly. But the room could have been cleaner and we couldn't really blind the room, so we were awake quite early.
I love this place. 4th time back over the last 15 years. It looks spectacularly dodgy from the outside, but is clean and comfortable inside, with a lovely inner courtyard. Only a 5 minute walk from medieval, stunning Dijon centre. And...if you are a bit zonked, do eat in - the menu may be limited (and just don't bother if you're a veggie) but the chef does know how to cook!

Basic, cheap and uncomfortable It was a tiny uncomfortable room. Alarming noises throughout the night from the room above. We knew it was a cheap basic stop off but we barely slept
I did not know, that the bathroom does not exist in the room. Probably it was stated somewhere but it was not that clear at the first glance.
Nice and clean staff are very friendly Very comfy bed slept like a baby
Nice bedroom wall decoration. Large, clean shower suitable for disabled people. equipped room. Well located parking lot. Well located hotel, not far from the Zénith where the Golden Fleece. Welcoming and listening to the customer in the event of a problem. We had a problem with the composition of the bed which was resolved very quickly. Breakfast expensive despite the lack of choice.

We arrived late and were greeted and checked in with directions to the Residence Du Duce. What an amazing accommodation Le Loft, it was more like a suite with everything needed. Friendly & helpful Reception staff. Quiet location but central to everything! (restaurants/bars/historical buildings & sights). Rooms are extremely comfortable and well proportioned (even the most standard double) - perfectly clean and well/discreetly serviced. A joy to have a balcony. Good buffet breakfast selection. Spent 5 nights here exploring Dijon and surrounds. Delighted with my choice! 😊
From the moment I arrived, I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel’s impeccable service and prime location. The hotel was a fantastic location right in the heart of Dijon. The room was lovely and spacious and very clean. It was in a beautiful old building with 2 floors to walk up. The hotel was very welcoming and the rooms comfortable. A small downside being on the 4th floor, we had to carry out suitcases up and down a short flight of stairs from the lift. Excellent breakfast buffet reasonably priced. The location couldn't be better in the heart of the old town.

Very good value just one weird thing A member of staff walked into our room without knocking enquiring whether we needed toilet paper while my wife and I were in bed. I am sure an honest mistake but strange to let themselves in when the room was clearly occupied …
Excellent hôtel, clean and located almost centrally. Very calm and the bed is perfect with pillows very soft. It’s small but does the job.
Hotel Montchapet was a great find in visiting Dijon. It's on a quieter street a few minutes from the centre ville and the start of the route de la Chouette. I arrived before check in and the clerk let me drop my baggage off and then immediately printed off a city map and showed me various places of interest for me to explore on my first trip to the city. Quaint and calm hotel in Dijon Quaint hotel in Dijon. Very friendly staff. Beware of the step when coming in: The lights are very strange and I fell on the floor with all my luggage! Otherwise, all is perfect.
The Front Desk person, I did'nt get his name... he was so friendly, so helpful and accommodating. The 5pm check in is a bit off putting as there is no one at the property prior to 5pm, and you have to stand outside till someone comes at 5pm to open the door.

This is a hidden gem right in the heart of the historic district. The staff are very welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful. They arranged a wonderful private wine tour with the owner(who is also a sommelier) on a day's notice. And the hotel is air-conditioned! Highly recommend!
After a long way driving you want to take a nice shower, but the drain was blocked. That was a disappointment. The next day the problem was solved. The staff was very friendly and helpfull in carrying the luggage to the 3 Floor as there is no elevator. Still I can recommand this hotel even for the location.
Excelllent accommodation for a single night in Dijon. The gentleman at reception was very helpful. Our room was on the top floor and recently renovated. It was stylish and spotless. We really enjoyed this centrally located boutique hotel. There are stairs and no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage you might not want to stay on the top floor.
The Hotel was immaculate and updated. We enjoyed the location to the Plaza shops and restaurants. The breakfast was great with fresh squeezed, orange juice and coffee offered to us as soon as we sat down. Definitely will recommend it to friends. Thank you!
