I chose the hotel based mostly on location, but also as Best Western has a good reputation and the price was fairly reasonable. It was easy to park nearby in a public garage and a decent walk to all the sights. The room was, however, minuscule, and the shower almost flooded the bathroom. It should probably get two stars but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent city centre hotel. Quiet, comfy bed and friendly staff. The decor may not be as modern - but its got an amazing French hotel atmosphere - wonderful internal murals etc. If you want bland - stay in a chain hotel. If you want a comfortable Grenoble experience - stay here.

A perfect location at the city centre close to "office du tourisme" tram station where three lines passes by. The hotel has a very friendly staff. The hotel is very clean. Free coffee at the reception and in some rooms. Very good value for money.

The hotel is located in the historic center, it is very welcoming and private. It is furnished with great taste and there is a very interesting search for details. Climbing the stairs is an experience because you can breathe in the history of the place (it is the oldest hotel in Grenoble). Trained, professional and friendly staff. Cozy rooms, well soundproofed and spotless, special price If you are in Grenoble you must stay here! Thank you Ah from the hotel you can reach all the most important parts of the city without using public transport

Had to get a quick shower before going to work, was standing in the cabin waiting for hot water to appear but it didn't! After 5 min took a cold shower in November. The heating did not work either, only positive detail was a friendly lady at reception fesk and four beautiful parrots in a huge cage :)

I recently stayed at the Hôtel Europe in Grenoble, an impressive establishment in a listed building, ideally located in the heart of the city. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, not only for its location, but also for its incredibly kind and welcoming staff. My experience was most enjoyable, and I look forward to returning on my next visit to Grenoble. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I booked the Hotel as I was driving through France and needed a place to stop for the night in Grenoble and the hotel was a great choice. The staff were so helpful and friendly and had plenty of information of the local area. Although the hotel is in the centre it was quiet inside at night and there was no noise at all from outside. I had the buffet breakfast which was on the first floor overlooking the square and the breakfast was fine. The hotel was a great base for exploring the city and the location could not be better. I would be happy to stay there again.

Stayed here for a short holiday. Great location in the center of Grenoble, with a view of the plaza. Many restaurants and bars nearby.
