Hotel Castel Mistral

Charming old building, but tastefully renovated with character. Nice private garden for drinks. Straightforward simple breakfast was served, with fresh bread and nice juice. Located just by the railway but it didn’t bother us much. No trains after 22. Very close to the beach. Extremely supportive and service minded hosts. Whatever we were lacking or asking for, they aimed to please.

As an American couple traveling the French Rivera, my fiancé and I had all intentions to book accommodations in Antibes, however this is just one train stop away in Juan-les-Pins. The room we stayed in was attached to the main building, and the rooms were quiet and served as a nice, clean, and safe place to leave our belongings and return home to after day trips along the Rivera. AC works fantastic, beautiful courtyard, and friendly kittens.

Staff and service were impeccable. Our final morning we were set to depart for the airport by 6:00AM and we didn’t want to disturb the hosts at that time, and opted to ask to see them late in the evening. They graciously accommodated us, and let us check out that evening so we could leave in the early hours.

We speak very little French and there was a language barrier, but they were kind and accommodating to us in any way they could be.

Should you find yourself in the French Rivera, Hotel Castel Mistral is a fantastic option.

We really enjoyed our stay at this unique place – intact since 1947, with new beds (very comfortable) and a refurbished bathroom. Cleaning was top notch and towels for the beach were available.
The location is formidable, and the continental breakfast was bang for the bucks compared to other places. Just loved the coffee, French style with warm milk. The railroad outside didn’t disturb us at all. One must treat the owners Stéphane and Christine with respect since they kept this hotel as it was built in 1947. A cultural gem, one of its kind.

Clean friendly passing trains not a problem good deal

I have been very good in this hotel. It’s not a usual place but for this reason I loved it. Reception from 8 to 23. You have a code for enter in second part of hotel. There are place for car. Very clean every day they changed all in the room. Air conditioning. Quite. You are near of rail but you don’t ear anything. My trave agency founded this pearl. @WallaceTurismoTorino. They are the Best. Antibes is a city very nice for all pockets. ☺️ Cote Azure is better than Liguria. In all places. 🙏 In all way. 🙏

We have stayed here for 8 nights, and everything is perfect for family or friends. The owner speaks in English as perfect as in French. Everyone treats you so nice and calm. Here is nicer than in any other hotel.
Before entering the building, they have a brush for cleaning your legs and feet from sand, so there is no sand inside.
Breakfast isn't expensive and pretty hearty meal for begging of the day.
They are one of the closest hotels to the beach and the prices aren't overwhelming high.
In overall, I really recommend this hotel!

For a modest price, this hotel exceeds all expectations. Fast and reliable WiFi accessible from rooms, a clean bed, and toilet. Furniture is a little old but adds to the wooden charm. The service is outstanding. Husband and wife duo are extremely warm and greet you whenever you enter or leave. I have personally received nothing but great hospitality which compelled me to gush about them. The distance is close to the beach and the train station— so if you are like me and wish to save money on cannes accommodation— book this hotel and hop on a short 9 minute train ride to cannes.

TLDR amenities are alright but service is far and beyond. Highly recommend!
