Tour de Nesle La Rochelle Vieux Port 3 etoiles

We've had a really pleasant stay. Service was impeccable and when they learned that my gf is gluten intolerant, they organized gluten free bread instead of just offering the crackers you often get in France. The location is amazing as well!

We enjoyed our few days in this hotel. The location is perfect, the staff were really helpful and friendly ( they left some chocolate on the table which was appreciated.)
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean as the hotel.

A real gem in the heart of La Rochelle old port. I rarely rate a hotel on Google, but as this hotel went the extra mile (Km) to make our stay comfortable, I must add a review. Excellent staff, service, great location, extra comfy beds, offering amazing value for money. Perfect, thank you.

Perfect location. Excellent staff, friendly, helpful and extremely welcoming. The rooms are clean and have everything you need,good towels - they left a plate of macaroons one of the days. Amazing stay and will definitely stay again.

We booked the hotel for very great price so I can't lower the score by much. The room size was very small so if you have a larger luggage or more than one you'll have difficulty. The room walls are paper thin so any noise from your neighbours will be heard. Noise from outside can also be heard but less than from other rooms. The staff are very nice and helpful. The location is very great and close to the main station and restaurants.

This hotel is in a fantastic place in the town. Access to everything right outside the door. I went with my father who is 85, the lift was welcome, as was the use of plates and cutlery. The view from the room with the balcony was amazing, but beware in the summer, the noise is off the scale. The street entertainment music and shouting through microphones can be intense. We stayed only 2 nights so not a problem for us. So don't choose it for peace. Room and bathroom was clean and comfortable but very small. A handy fridge! Definitely recommend the aquarium. We really enjoyed our stay.

Budget hotel in perfect location. Old town, shops, bars and restaurants were within the walking distance from hotel. There were problems with toilet first night of stay but reception and domestic staff were very kind and have sorted this out. Not all reception staff spoke good English but they've tried their best and made us feel very welcome. If I could make a suggestion it would be for reception staff to be aware of public transport routes and times. These are different on weekends and when asked how to get from point A to point B reception staff could not help much.
