Hotel suited our needs whilst on Pilgrimage - most of our group were all volunteers and were working every day, not spending so much time actually in the hotel. The view from the hotel is awesome. It overlooks the river and the mountains. Staff there were helpful and they had good breakfast. We were on a group tour then, they helped us. So I cannot comment on the public transportation option near the hotel. But it is central and just few meters aways from the shopping area and the actual church. Brilliant location with comfortable but basic rooms. A street side cafe that serves freshly squeezed juices as well as beer, coffee and tea. The views of the mall are fantastic if you get one of the higher rooms overlooking the river.

A very nice and helpful receptionist ?. The room is very small but with a beautiful view of the castle and the river! They need to improve the coverage of the wifi.

Stayed here with Irish and European deaf people. Food wise, hotel seemed to cater for their own country. Irish did not like the food.

The hotel is in a lovely location, a stone throw away from the sanctuary. The staff is very helpful and pleasant, accommodating all requests. However, cleanliness is a big issue in the hotel, both in the rooms and in the restaurant.

Very friendly staff!!! The hotel rooms are adequate. Food was fine but they needed to add some veg or salad to the main meals served. We had beef and chips but nothing with it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms ( bring your own kettle and cups). Close to the Sanctuary ( 10 minutes walk) and close to town centre. Nice Riverside walk nearby. Good value. Would definitely stay again.

For 3 star hotel rate it's fine

Conveniently located for pilgrims visiting the basilica. It's also affordably priced. The rooms are cleans. Beds are comfortable and bathroom is well kept as well. Staff is nice and courteous. Breakfast was average and at an additional cost of 5 euros for just bread and coffee and juice. Wouldn't really recommend it.

Clean, small rooms. Excellent service, and breakfast is filling.

The location is the best, near to Grotto gate and so many shops and restaurant surrounding. The Room is clean but the bathroom is very small, i bumped so many time when taking shower, but overall i like it staying here...

I was just flying to say my satisfaction with the Hotel d'Irlande where I spent a few days. I had contact with the owner and her employees who are very pleasant and above all urgent. I saw a very clean room, very good meals, a very great tranquility I wanted to thank his people for their kindness. Hope to return someday. Steinbach D

Food is perfect. Personell is really friendly. Short distance of the sanctuary. Rooms are a bit outdated. When you can get a 3 room bedroom for 2 persons than the hotel is ideal.

Nice location and the staff were very friendly. The price is too high for such old-equipped rooms. Our room was not very clean, but acceptable. Also, we could hear the people from other rooms using the toilet, walking back and forth (either in the room or on the hallway), and children jumping and talking high all night and in the early morning till they left the room.

During a short trip to Lourdes my sister and I with her two children, we stopped for lunch in this very pleasant and welcoming hotel. We have fond memories of this moment of family and serene catering. A hotel that I warmly recommend to any visitor who wants to eat well and calmly.

The service is excellent (they speak English and Spanish), they would do whatever they can for you, reasonable prices and some parts have been refurbished. It's a good choice if you don't expect a 4 stars hotel.

Perfect accueil, and comfortable room

We stayed with friends from Tuesday afternoon 23rd August to Thursday morning 25th August. We had a great time: cleanliness of the premises, excellent food (it felt like eating in Italy), proximity to the Massabielle cave and excellent prices. I highly recommend it. Simone

Friendly hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable. Our room overlooking the street, the sound insulation is efficient. The catering is simple but of high quality.

Very good food and accommodation and very nice personal treatment as well as correct to put a but it would be that in a room with three beds for 3 people the shampoo sachets were insufficient because for 4 nights we only had three sachets

Excellent attention from all employees. The rooms can be very comfortable depending on which one you get since there are large doubles with large bathrooms and also very small ones. Acceptable dining, except for the coffee. It seems that they serve chicory to some substitute.

A very good hotel, retaining its original charm, with modern renovations! I love the old elevator, which now announces the floors! Hehehe! At this price, a room in Lourdes is practically a miracle... granted! Hehehe! A very good night's sleep and stay, as it's close to the market and the entrance to the grotto!
