Bedroom was modern and comfortable, the bathroom was a little dated and had no soaps, gel, or shower caps etc. That you would expect of a hotel showing itself as a 4 star. Ok for continental breakfast. Lots of lounge space.

Fantastic place to stay at when in Lourdes. It’s close to the main attraction and it’s also walking distance from the castle, where you’ll learn more about the town and you’ll have the best views of Lourdes.

the air conditioner was not cooling the room at all and had 2 sleepless nights, as it got very hot. The shower area too small Could hardly turn around. and the carpets either need changing or proper cleaning. We were in room no 304 fyi

Hotel Elesio was incredible. We came under adverse circumstances with 300 people and they fed us, sheltered us, and cared for us in unprecedented fashion. We will come back without question. My highest recommendation.

a quiet place to stay near the sanctuary. we stayed on the 10th floor which has an attic and is perfect for families. staff is very friendly and welcoming, and will address to your needs quickly. issue here was the internet couldnt reach the attic room and our door keys seem to have a problem. but the staff is quick to respond to those issues so still didnt have a problem.

Reception was wonderful. Staff were really helpful. Parking was very convenient although it has an additional 12 euro charge. Location was probably the best part of the hotel because all the important and historical places were very close. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Would have hor 5 stars but I dont think they really understand vegetarianism. BUT overall the food was lovely, a bit unusual at times but very edible.

I came here specifically for the food. I really enjoy the seafood rice from Spain; it's delicious and comes in a generous portion. However, the language barrier is a challenge as it appears they don't speak English. FYI, they do accept card payments.

Price is affordable. Location is excellent. Regarding the rooms, you can hear the toilet flushing, running water from the rooms above yours. You can also hear them walking. Very close to the Sanctuary just 1’ walking. Everything was good except the rude actitud of one of the Waiters at dinner time. Danny is a Lady, she is the manager’s assistant and is an Angel always willing to help and make the guest feel comfortable.

We were visiting Lourdes in the morning and wanted to have lunch before hitting the road for a 3 hour drive. Most of the restaurants were closed and this was one of the two restaurants that we came across that were open. The food was decent, not great, service was okay - not friendly, but not rude either. A bit pricey for what you get, but that's to be expected in a tourist town.

We make a pilgrimage to Lourdes twice a year and always stay at this hotel. Excellent cuisine with Italian products. Not to mention the staff who are always very helpful. The location is just next to the grotto entrance. The staff, especially in reception, were extremely helpful and cheerful. They handled our requests easily and efficiently. I was in a big group for a pilgrimage to Lourdes, the hotel itself was quite nice, worth a stay for sure. The food was ok, pretty good as far as hotel breakfasts go. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were very kind as were the servers in the restaurant.

The Hotel Padoue is very beautiful. We were greeted by Filipina at the front desk, who checked us in and gave us a map of the things to see in the area. Our room was very clean and pretty.

Super friendly staff, they go out of their way to make recommendations whether related to the Sanctuary, or authentic food to eat, or taxi booking. Everything is just wonderful about them. The rooms are slightly old but clean and comfortable. Just what you need during a pilgrimage, no fancy frills. Overall we had a pleasant stay. It was just the layout of our room that is a bit weird. We have a seperate toilet and bathroom, which we rejoice at first but soon came to realize that there was no other washbasin than inside the bathroom, so one will still have to wait to use the toilet if someone is in the bathroom or goes with a hand unwashed. Room by itself was alright. We have a triple room....

Our stay was pleasant. Staff was very helpful and kind. Food was lovely as well. However the internet was a joke as it kept dropping every 2mins. As we were on the 4th floor, mobile data wasn't very good either.

The hotel is right next to the basilica. The staff are all wonderful and happy to help with any query we have and sort out any changes we have right away, especially food related ones. Hotel location is central for the Town and is responsibly modern, bedrooms are adequate but I would like to see tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom along with a mini fridge. Breakfast there is no hot food available which many holiday makers from outside of Europe wish to have in the morning and when I asked for an Omelette I was told there would be a charge, hugely disappointing.

Visited as a group of 6 from Ireland during the month of May, using the hotel as a based for cycling the Tour de France stages in the Pyrenees. The staff were just brilliant, kind, friendly and most accommodating. An ideal base for cycling adventures with hills, hills and more hills on your doorstep. Great value for money with the half-board option.

We’d booked the hotel in 2019 for a stay in 2020 but the pandemic prevented our travel until this April. Despite having to postpone our visit three times in the interim, the management kept our booking without issue and were most accommodating. A little bit confusing to find the entrance. But interior was nice and they have a room available to the 4 of us so we were able to stay together in 1 room. Friendly and helpful front desk officers. Just 10 mins walk to the grotto. It is located opposite a vietnamese eating place which serves steamy pho noodle soup (perfect for cold weather in Lourdes) and tasty side dishes (e.g. spring rolls).

So very close to the Grotte yet very quiet and calm. When you enter the lobby you are greeted by a smiling person at the counter. Checking in was quick and easy. You have a good room and we chose a room with a great view of the entrance to the sanctuary. You can also choose from one or all of your meals served in the hotel restaurant. We've spent a night at the hotel and we had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, the decor was unique and the staff was friendly. We've arrived after the hotel closing time, but we were given means to access the bedroom (door code). It was ok for one night although our accommodation did not meet the Mercure standards we experienced in other hotels. The room was small, like in Ibis budget and there was no mini fridge. The breakfast was good although very few sweets and yoghurts. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The view from the hotel is awesome. It overlooks the river and the mountains. Staff there were helpful and they had good breakfast. We were on a group tour then, they helped us. So I cannot comment on the public transportation option near the hotel. But it is central and just few meters aways from the shopping area and the actual church. Brilliant location with comfortable but basic rooms. A street side cafe that serves freshly squeezed juices as well as beer, coffee and tea. The views of the mall are fantastic if you get one of the higher rooms overlooking the river.

Very nice hotel for a reasonable price with a very nice couple running it. The wife even made me a free cup of tea while I waited for my room to be ready (I arrived super early) and the husband was very helpful with figuring out how to take the bus to the airport.
