Planned a trip to lourdes from Mumbai & it was such a pleasant stay in this hotel. Had booked it as it was nearest to the Sanctuary but the hospitality, food (Breakfast) & service was top notch. Hope I do visit lourdes once again in my lifetime & definitely would stay here again if that day comes.

Check in was smooth. All staff are very friendly! We are a group of 5 and are booked in a 5 person room. Nice and cozy. They even have a second shower and toilet. Small but function make it so much easier for a group of 5. Free parking is a bonus. All great.

Our visit was part of a Pilgrimage to Lourdes so a large group. Full board, breakfast , 3 course lunch and dinner, far too much. The quality of food varied from lovely traditional home cooking to disappointing pre-cooked "ready meals". Maybe less food at lunchtime with a better quality dinner time meal. Reception was wonderful. Staff were really helpful. Parking was very convenient although it has an additional 12 euro charge. Location was probably the best part of the hotel because all the important and historical places were very close. I came here specifically for the food. I really enjoy the seafood rice from Spain; it's delicious and comes in a generous portion. However, the language barrier is a challenge as it appears they don't speak English. FYI, they do accept card payments.

It is a beautiful hotel from another era. Art Nouvea style. The dining room elegant and old world. It has comfy beds, great toiletries, french furniture. It is steps from the church and the procession. Parking is available, one block over in the public parking lot at 15 Euro a day. A perfect place to stay to visit Our Ladyvof Lourdes.

One can also appreciate that the hotel was, once, modern and ‘grand’ but I would say that is no longer the case, mostly. This Hotel couldn’t be more central. Just next the sanctuaire of Lourdes. It has the best location in Lourdes… plus the staff are very helpful … the rooms are big and comfortable.. we had a great stay and we will surely stay again at Grand Hotel Moderne ..

Because we stayed there in late October, literally one night before it closed for the season, we did not get to experience very much of its offerings. The location is just next to the grotto entrance. The staff, especially in reception, were extremely helpful and cheerful. They handled our requests easily and efficiently. I highly recommend this hotel. The buffet breakfast for €17 was plentiful and varied to everyone’s taste. Maybe they hot items could have hot instead of lukewarm. But still very scrumptious. Thanks.

I was in a big group for a pilgrimage to Lourdes, the hotel itself was quite nice, worth a stay for sure. The food was ok, pretty good as far as hotel breakfasts go. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were very kind as were the servers in the restaurant.

The Hotel Padoue is very beautiful. We were greeted by Filipina at the front desk, who checked us in and gave us a map of the things to see in the area. Our room was very clean and pretty.

Nice Hotel and very close to the church. restaurant is very good, friendly staff and check in and check out was very smooth. they dont have iron box/board/press. those who are visiting the hotel need to take care. i could see lots of wheel chair at the reception which is very good for aged guests

Super friendly staff, they go out of their way to make recommendations whether related to the Sanctuary, or authentic food to eat, or taxi booking. Everything is just wonderful about them. The rooms are slightly old but clean and comfortable. Just what you need during a pilgrimage, no fancy frills. Overall we had a pleasant stay. It was just the layout of our room that is a bit weird. We have a seperate toilet and bathroom, which we rejoice at first but soon came to realize that there was no other washbasin than inside the bathroom, so one will still have to wait to use the toilet if someone is in the bathroom or goes with a hand unwashed. Fantastic location with newly renovated rooms and very modern bathrooms. I was very pleased and would stay here again. I have stayed at three hotels in Lourdes and this one is the best. This is a two minute walk to the sanctuary. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely place! My first time in Lourdes and the hospitality was second to none. The staff can't do enough for you. The food was great, they even catered to my friend's vegetarian needs which were fab. The rooms were clean. The staff were so friendly. I can't recommend this place enough!

The hotel is right next to the basilica. The staff are all wonderful and happy to help with any query we have and sort out any changes we have right away, especially food related ones. So very close to the Grotte yet very quiet and calm. When you enter the lobby you are greeted by a smiling person at the counter. Checking in was quick and easy. You have a good room and we chose a room with a great view of the entrance to the sanctuary. You can also choose from one or all of your meals served in the hotel restaurant. It’s simple but very good.

Perfect location to casually stroll to the sanctuary. We were greeted with a smile and everyone at the hotel were friendly. We decided to eat at the hotel with a demi- pension. The food was nice and they allowed us to bring our small French Bulldog as long as he was behaved. We plan to stay there again soon.

Hotel location is central for the Town and is responsibly modern, bedrooms are adequate but I would like to see tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom along with a mini fridge. Breakfast there is no hot food available which many holiday makers from outside of Europe wish to have in the morning and when I asked for an Omelette I was told there would be a charge, hugely disappointing.

Visited as a group of 6 from Ireland during the month of May, using the hotel as a based for cycling the Tour de France stages in the Pyrenees. The staff were just brilliant, kind, friendly and most accommodating. An ideal base for cycling adventures with hills, hills and more hills on your doorstep. Great value for money with the half-board option.

We’d booked the hotel in 2019 for a stay in 2020 but the pandemic prevented our travel until this April. Despite having to postpone our visit three times in the interim, the management kept our booking without issue and were most accommodating. My room was smaller than I remembered, and instead of a river view like last time, I had a roof view—but that didn’t really matter. It was ok for one night although our accommodation did not meet the Mercure standards we experienced in other hotels. The room was small, like in Ibis budget and there was no mini fridge. The breakfast was good although very few sweets and yoghurts. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Brilliant location with comfortable but basic rooms. A street side cafe that serves freshly squeezed juices as well as beer, coffee and tea. The views of the mall are fantastic if you get one of the higher rooms overlooking the river.

Very nice hotel for a reasonable price with a very nice couple running it. The wife even made me a free cup of tea while I waited for my room to be ready (I arrived super early) and the husband was very helpful with figuring out how to take the bus to the airport. Quite a nice and comfortable hotel in Lourdes. Just a short walk from the shrine, which makes it convenient for attending the services during the day and night procession too. The rooms were comfortable and food was good.
