Sorry for the vent but at least future guests will be aware!
Here’s the update:
They didn’t have my reservation, which at this point it’s fine since I found another hotel that has a very helpful host. Contacted Hotels.com and waited for their team to look into it, basically just want my refund. I had a nice visit at Lourdes, but this hotel ruined the experience for us. They don’t want to give the refund, I’ll even attached a letter from Hotels.com that they try to contact the hotel but fallen on deaf ears. So, they will take your payment and magically lost your reservation! So if you want a headache and stress when you come to Lourdes, please stay here.
For the comment that they haven’t had a call at all, I have attached the calls and the text from the so called emergency contact with the number the same what is posted on the door.
Everything was great. We had 2 dogs with us and we were given a room with the garden - it was very convenient.
Beautiful quiet place. Very clean. Nice fresh bedding.
The stuff is very friendly and attentive.
Boulangerie nearby was a very yummy plus.
Cold hard facts:
- The hallways smell awefull
- The rooms smell a bit less awefull but still unpleasant
- There is mold in the room
- Breakfast is not hygienic
Our opinion: We do not recommend you to stay at this hotel, we stayed at room 207D for 1 night. We parked our car on their parking lot (with their approval) to go on a motortrip through the Pyreneeën and were planning to sleep in this hotel for the last night as well. We did not stay for the last night and just left, we booked another hotel instead.
