ibis Perpignan Sud Saint Charles

It was one of the poorest experiences staying at an Ibis. The third time staying at this chain during my last week in France was not charming. The receptionist was ill-mannered to fellow guests and insisted we did not have a reservation despite the opposite blaming us for the "mistake" of arriving here instead of other Ibis (the one in the centre). After showing him the reservation, he tried to turn it around and said it was Booking's failure. When asked for another available room, he said there were none. He offered us one at the ibis Budget (exact location, different price point). But after seeing my room, I seriously thought of switching entirely to another hotel because it is NOT worth the 70 euros for a night. Not even close to a 3-star hotel! More 1 star. The room is very outdated and worn out. The wifi is poor, and there is only one power outlet you decide if you instead connect your phone or your computer. TV size is for a child, and the toilette flushes after around ten times of pushing the button. I would ask for a refund if I could because it simply did not work for me. They should lower the rate!!! It's not at all three stars, and you won't have a kettle or toaster in the room (which was one of the "included amenities". It will be a very poor stay, and you will pay a lot. In that case, it is better if you choose the budget.
