Great place to stay if you're on a budget and want to be able to walk right off the train to your hotel! Comfortable bed and a nice space. The view at the moment is of construction and as always, the train station, so if you're wanting a Romantic view of old Quimper, it's not for you.
My only complaint is that in my street-facing room on the second floor, noise from the street is very loud. It seemed to die down after about 1 a.m. I put on noise cancelling headphones and was just fine.
As a woman traveling alone, I would take care to come back before dark and not linger outside. This isn't to deter anyone - I would stay here again. And it's certainly not like somewhere crazy like Paris! It's simply possible that some shadier characters will be around. There are bars nearby though, so if anything happened there are people to intervene.

Dont go there, simply do yourself a favour and avoid this place, the Host will treat you differently depending if he appreciates you or not.
place looks shaby but prices are on the lower side which is good.
i did not even see the rooms as the host pretended the last room just got booked while i was waiting for friends to call me back, mind you the hostz let me use the hotels phone as my cellphone was not usable at that moment. i waited 45min there to get called back and in this time the host pretended (like after 10min , when he figured i was calling friends to get money insta wired or pay for the room from a distance as i had a misfortune happening at TEKWEST which made that i had to stay 1 night in Quimper. i was soaked and cold yet even before i receive an answer from friends if i would be able to stay or get money he pretended the last room just got booked. he made it clear to me he did NOT appreciate TEKWEST and i suppose this is what led to this attitude, he let me use the phone so i will put 2 stars instead of only 1 , but discrimination should NOT be tolerated in 2024 !
l´hote a eu la gentilesse de me laisser passer un coup de fil.
le prix des chambres est bas mais je ne les ai pas vue car il ma refuser.
j´essayer de joindre des amis par telephone pour qu´il me vire de l´argent OU me reservent une chambre, l´hote etais visiblement aggacé de savoir que je revenais du TEKWEST.
pendant que j´attendez que on me rappel il a simplemnt dit que la der. chambre venais d´etre reserver via internt et ma fait comprendre qu´il etais pressé que je parte.
j´ai pu malgres tout joindre un ami et rester le temps d´environ 45min a la reception etant completement tremper due a la meteo.
je ne peu pas juger la qualité des chambres ni du rest de l´hotel mais l´hote n´est pas forcement neutre si votre tete ne lui reviens pas.
je me demande meme si il ne sagit pas d´un refus de vente au niveau de la loi `?
je ne conseillerais donc pas cette hotel !

Very nice hotel infront of Train station in Quimper , warm welcome by the staffs , nice room and very clean, ambiance very ok , very near to the centre of town ,

The hotel is directly opposite of the Quimper station. Location is perfect. Bruno was amazing from the very first phone call for confirmation till the check out. Room was nice and clean.
