Campanile Paris CDG Airport Villepinte

This hotel is honestly the most disgusting dangerous and awful place I have ever come across.

Getting to the hotel from the airport was a nightmare as the shuttle bus that is advertised was not running and after 2 hours waiting for it to come we were Lucky that a driver of another shuttle bus of another hotel was kind enough to drop us off close by the hotel that we could walk to it within 10 minutes.

When we checked in and got off the lift to the rooms we were immediately presented with a very different place than what the lobby and the photos would reflect, as soon as the doors of the lift opened we were greeted with one of the worst smells that I have ever smelt, it is indescribable. We got to our room and as soon as we walked in I wanted to leave immediately the room was small as we expected but the photos that were advertised are no way near what you receive the photos showed a small but lovely and clean room this however is far from the reality. The carpet was completely filthy with many questionable stains on the floor, it clearly had not been hoovered either. The shower tray was cracked and the floor of the bathroom had also clearly not been hoovered or mopped there was hair and all sorts of stains on the floor. Only 1 light in the room worked and this was located in the corner of the room. There was stains on the wall which looked like puke that had not been cleaned and there was exposed electrical wires just hanging out with copper ends of the wire exposed. There was light fittings damaged and exposed and the headboard was lose from the wall. There was a sticky substance on the table in the room. We had booked a double bed and had received 2 single beds. The tv remote was honestly disgusting and you’d want to wear gloves to use the remote and watch tv, or to be honest touch anything in the room. The roof panelling was loose and looked like it could fall down and also the kettle was missing.

When we complained The staff member was rude to us at first and when asked to come view the room became hostile and started acting aggressive in her actions with other work while we were waiting for her to come with us to view the room. When she viewed the room her attitude had become less hostile and she said all she could do for our first night is to move us to a different room.

We were left waiting in the lobby for 40 minutes before we were provided with an alternative room for the night which was slightly better, but still a room that is far from worthy to be sold to any guest. In this room like the previous room the carpet was filthy and you would not want to walk without shoes on as you would be afraid of picking up some kind of disease, there was lots of burn marks on the carpet also. The cleaning standard of this room was slightly better but not by much at all the tv remote was clean all of the sides and mirrors were clean and the floor was hoovered. However the toilet itself was full of stains it was quite disgusting it clearly wasn’t cleaned. There was damaged tables and again lights that did not work. There was black mould in the bathroom on the roof. Which affected my breathing as I have asthma. The tv also would randomly turn on during the night which happened twice which was quite annoying,

I have honestly never stayed somewhere that I have felt frightened for my health in before until I stayed in this hotel. In the 2 rooms I was given my first room was a fire and electrocution hazard with the exposed wires and in my second room It was horrible on someone who has asthma to be expected to stay in a room with mould, never mind the fact that cleanliness was still an issue as the toilet was filthy. I’m glad that I didn’t have breakfast or any food during my stay here as if the guest bedrooms are poorly cleaned and in a condition like this, I can only imagine how bad the cleaning standards are in areas that guests have no access to such as the kitchen.

There is no standard of cleaning, clearly no maintenance done and staff that are rude, abusive and hostile. This place should be shut down

Update. Watch them have the same reviews for years and they allways respond well will work on it. Don’t be fooled.

Must read. If you have a missed flight with a voucher - save yourself the hassle and stay at the airport. If you have an exhibition save your self the hassle and don’t go. If you are here to visit France, then just go to some other European country.

WARNING and I mean it WARNING at all costs do not stay at this hotel. For your benefit.

The rooms are moldy - tiny bugs in the 35 year old never cleaned carpet. Big spider mosquitos left dead on the window for days. Moldy showers. Leaks Infront of your entry. Random leaks from the shower. And the smell is one you would
Need a decade to get out of your senses.

If you do find yourself here by any chance here are some tips. Walk around the room with your shoes in 24/7 at a minimum some slippers. Cover with the bathroom towel instead of bed sheets and NEVER get covered with the bed sheets. Unless you want to get bitten keep them as is.

FYI when I checked out I forgot something in the room (after post checkout clean) AND THEY WHERE THE SAME BED SHEETS I used. I know because it had a stain.

Horrible rooms. They are disgusting and moldy, with brown stains. One of our rooms already had someone in it with suitcases and their stuff. Hotel lobby smells like cigarettes. The rooms are tiny and there are no pillows, blankets, or towels. This hotel was made just for cancelled flight passengers. Never go here. The view of the parking lot was the best thing about it.

Me and my friends here stayed for a night after our flight was cancelled and the airline booked this hotel for us. The check in was handled unprofessionally without any concrete registration of the booking, just scanning our documents and giving us a card to access the room. Our friend had to stay for two nights to wait for their flight, and probably because of poor registration - their room was emptied and ALL BELONGINGS GONE after the first night, despite double checking with staff at reception that their room is for two nights. Cleaners emptied the room, and when my friends came back, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful saying that the manager is not here and they can't do anything and insinuating that it's not their problem. Incredibly disrespectful. Luckily, after hours of talking with staff, and only after numerous attempts to convince them to do anything and threatening with POLICE they managed to call someone and find the bags in some hidden away cleaners cupboard. This is absolutely unacceptable for any hotel or business. To top it off the rooms had dirty carpeting, non-functioning air conditioning, black MOLD in the showers and the rooms smelled of SEWAGE. I would never pay to stay here, and after all this I think it's not even safe staying here for free. Just disgraceful.

Stayed here as a courtesy hotel after Air France cancelled our flight. The floors in our room were stained brown and beginning to pull off the floor. There were black marks resembling mold in the corner of the shower. Service was fine, but the building is deteriorated. The hotel also double booked our room and another person knocked on our door in the middle of the evening trying to get into our room. Air France should do better.

Our flight got cancelled so we were provided these overnight accommodations. This hotel is HORRIBLE. The dim room lights tried to cover the huge floor stains, nasty bathroom, stained sheets, and sewage smell. I wanted to vomit while in the room. There are visible sheet stains all over the sheets, and it smelled like decaying flesh. We opted to stay at the airport instead. Avoid this hotel at all cost, even if it’s free.

We were booked in here by a airline after our flight got cancelled. The location is good to the airport. The rooms were tiny, very basic - but the carpets were dirty, as well as the hallway, and the beds miniscule
The common areas also needs quite a bit of work.
The hotel I suppose is passable for a 1 night emergency layover, but not enjoyable at all.

Staying here felt like actual hell. When I saw the pictures of where Air France put us I had high hopes. Don’t believe the pictures. The rug was repulsive and the bed sheets were dirty. Didn’t sleep all night horrified of this place. And the man at the front desk gave less than helpful customer service.
