L'Hotel Particulier Ascott

We had a great stay here, booked 2 nights and extended to 3 nights. Very well looked after by Emmanuel and his wife. Safe car parking and easy walk to St Malo. Very friendly host and English speaking.

Lovely stay near Saint Malo intra-muros.
We stayed here for the first time for one night, and what a beautiful surprise. The hotel is quite small, and the rooms are not big either, but the decor is very modern and feels much more luxurious than 3-star. The room smelt lovely from the moment we opened the door.
The staff is so lovely, friendly and very accommodating.
We booked the stay with breakfast, and I am so glad we did. It felt like we were having breakfast at a 5-star hotel. Breakfast was brought to our table by a lovely lady, and there was plenty of food for the 2 of us. We had different types of bread, jam, crepes, fruit, fresh orange juice, tea and coffee. Definitely worth it!
The entrance to the hotel is very narrow for cars, but parking is free, and there is more parking on the main road, which is also free.
Can't fault it. I have been in Saint Malo many times, but this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. From the staff friendliness, to the hotel itself. It felt like we were treated as royalty in a beautiful French chateau.

Impeccable standards of hospitality and comfort. The welcome was warm and cordial. The monsieur is an excellent host. Room clean comfortable and quiet. Breakfast perfect. A short walk from the lovely Solidor neighbourhood. Recommended highly.

We stayed overnight before our return on the ferry to Portsmouth. This hotel was a revelation - a great welcome from the owner with wonderful style in the hotel. Bedrooms were very smart with modern en-suite. Definitely recommend the breakfast with homemade ingredients . Peaceful area of town but within walking distance of the centre if you have time to explore

Very friendly service, helpful and polite. I stayed in a room with a small balcony, I loved it. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. Bathroom was small but nice. I liked the decor of the entire hotel. The location is good if you have access to the car. Area seems safe, there are some shops and cafés nearby. There is a bus to the centre but on the day I visited (Sunday) the bus service was not great. I would have to wait for over 45, there was no way to order a taxi as well so I ended up walking there and back. Which was not to bad, it is a nice walk. Overall experience was good, I would come back to this hotel.

Lovely little hotel in a quiet part of town. Short stay to catch an early morning boat but had everything we needed. Could not give a 5 as did not have breakfast. Our room was a little small for anything longer than a mid week or long weekend break. Would stay again.

Lovely building, the host was brilliant very helpful and friendly, we had a very good breakfast with delicious homemade jams. Unfortunately our room was rather small and dated, although it was clean.
