Comfortable Savoyard-style residence is located in a quiet area, close to the ski area and the gondola. It offers cosy rooms decorated in warm colours, serves local and international cuisine and attentive staff.

Location: in the centre of Tignes, from the airports of Geneva 165 km, Lyon 240 km, Chambery - 130 km, 50 m from the ski lift, 200 m from a supermarket.

Consists of a 6-storey building.

The hotel has 33 rooms.

Pets are welcome - for a fee.

Surcharges:

  • Resort fee payable locally in the amount of about 1,10 EUR per person per day.

Le Refuge is located in Tignes, in the northern French Alps, 164 feet from the ski elevator. It has spa facilities and massages.

Great stay at Le Refuge !!! Family business, everybody is very helpful. Very clean and confortable room, delicious breakfast on the top flour, ski-in ski-out. In front of the main square where everything happens. Thank you!

Had a great stay here. Really good location for arriving by bus and right in front of gondola/chair lifts for skiing. Awesome amenities like the sauna/spa area, ski storage lockers/dry room, option to add on breakfast in the morning and the room was quite spacious. Staff friendly and welcoming. Hope to come back again one day!

Very cute hotel located in the heart of the Tignes ski resort. Very easy walk to a main lift and a gondola to Val D'Isere. A couple other lifts were also close by. A few good casual restaurants nearby, but most restaurants require a bus ride to Val Claret a couple miles away. Free shuttle bus is right outside hotel. Breakfast had a nice selection. My teen boys and my husband and I stayed in a family suite, second room was tiny but main room was average size. Gorgeous view of the mountains from the room. Beds and pillows could have been more comfortable and could have been cleaner. Ice was an issue outside the hotel as well as around the area, so if going in winter, bring shoes with non-skid soles!!

This is a long overdue review, sorry! We had a 10 night stay at the Hotel Le Refuge during the first 2 weeks of April. The location is really good. Walk across the road to the lift. Walking distance to restaurants, shops etc. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. The rooms are what you would expect for the heart of a top ski resort. Clean, warm & comfy. Breakfasts are very good as is the coffee machine. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure talking to them each day. We were actually snowed in for 36 hours and the management went to extraordinary lengths to assist us. It made a difficult situation simple and we are very thankful to them. Value was excellent. Noise was fine, I don’t think I noticed any. The kids (14 & 16) loved it. Traditional French character in a top ski resort. We will return. Mike. Melbourne, Australia

Overall it was a good experience, location is excelent, the staff is super friendly. The only negative point I have is that the heating system was a bit nosy and next to the bed.

My partner and I stayed one week and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The hotel staff are very accommodating, the few times we needed something it was immediately taken care of. The breakfast room is perfect for a ski holiday, lots of options and we were always able to get in and out quickly. I appreciated the breadth of options and the quality of the food. The rooms are rustic and we had an amazing view of the Toviêr lift and the open area. The town is very walkable. The only two things that we wished were a bit different, the WiFi is very spotty, it was not always connected to the internet, but when it was working, the speed was great. The heat in the room was very challenging to control. We turned it down as low as possible and the room was still hot enough to wake us up. The ski locker area was perfect and we were able to enjoy the spa one night. We hope to be back
