Aegialis Hotel & Spa

Location was beautiful. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. There was an issue with our billing at the end of our stay where we were charged incorrectly. The front desk was less that helpful in resolving the issue. The end result was I paid hundreds ($600 to be exact) over in what I felt my bill should be. I contacted management via email to try and get them to look into the issue. I got an email back saying that they would look into it and 4 weeks later I have zero resolution. So were the views worth the extra money I had to spend? Probably not. I expected better from a place that claims to be 5 stars.

Overall my stay was very disappointing. first of all I want to say that the staff is not the most welcoming. They are rather jaded and non-chalant. then, the room I had reserved on booking was not the one I got. the cleanliness is not worthy of a 5-star hotel with holey tablecloths in the restaurant and questionable toilets. Lots of noise during the night. Finally, the service is poor: I called reception 5 times to come and fix the lights in the room. this is unacceptable. In short, I do not recommend this hotel. it's a cheap hotel for 600€ per night. The only positive point I can give to the hotel is that the transfer from the port to the hotel is free.
