I don’t know why they have just 2 reviews before me but I can highly recommend this hotel. Helpful staff, clean rooms, daily clean and refreshing, small but cute/clean pool and friendly bar

It’s an easy walk downhill into town and a tricker walk back up, but a taxi is €5 from the town to the hotel so really easy. I would genuinely really recommend Hotel Danae

If Staying on aegina it's a most if you want a little more greek village vibe owner and Staff go above and beyond to help make your stay there wonderful reasonable price comes with breakfast eggs fruit breads meats cheeses perfect light breakfast it is a short walk into town maybe 5 min to souvala harbor where you can catch ferris to other islands or to main land and athens many restaurants bars bakery...

This is a great hotel for exploring Aegina in a lovely location as just a short walk down to the harbour where you’ll find a small beach, a bakery, a supermarket and a number of restaurants which we went to most of and didn’t have one bad meal

Especially Emma has been very proactive in service, which enabled us to just relax by the pool. I don't get the negative reviews about the owner. He gave us tips about the surroundings and ordered scooters for us

Nice hotel with a pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable and most have view of the sea. The breakfast is delicious and has variety. The owner and the staff are very friendly. It is absolutely recommended!

Great location, right across from the port and extremely walkable to the hustle and bustle of the Aegina city centre. The large single room covers all the basic needs and is quite spacious for a solo stay

And sure, it's by no means modern, but I think it adds character and for the price you pay you really can't complain. People running the hotel are lovely and the rooms are clean and air-conditioned

Small beach tavern cross the street from hotel. Maybe colours of walls and table's is not in the greek blue-white patterns but I recommend it. Homemade baked Pistachio 1kg = 10 €, 500 grams 5€

Run by a beautiful older woman who is very helpful. Rooms are clean and beds comfy! AC works, hot water, wifi great and the location is perfect! Literally just walk out to the blue water

Very friendly and helpful owners. Room was perfectly clean with a nice balcony. It is very close to a small river so we had to watch out for mosquitoes but there is a net curtain to keep them out

Small cafes with tables on the sidewalk, street vendors selling fresh pistachios, car and bike rental agencies, the marina is a hub of activity. This small island has some of the best taverns in the islands

I fell in love with SISSY HOTEL Marathonas Aegina Greece ever since my first visit way back in 2015. This summer, it will be my second time in Aegina, this amazing island that never stops to fascinate me

And don't forget to wash down the food with ouzo! My favourite place is Perdika, about 30 minutes drive from the Town. Obviously the best beach on the island, and certainly the best atmosphere

This is the remarkable thing about this island, that on every visit, I find myself discovering something new. Set foot on the marina and you find yourself into a different world

Fish taverns all along the coast, a beautiful setting to swim and an amazing view to a deserted island, right across the port. Frequently I do the swimming there

Prime location in the centre of town and close to all amenities. Excellent service- nothing was too much trouble :) Pool clean and well laid out. Rooms cleaned daily, hotel tidy and breakfast decent

Breakfast is fair but repetitive. The hotel has conditions according to the tariff paid and a very beautiful pool. Spyros) is very friendly with the requirements of tourists

Big, cozy rooms with a genuine Greek feeling. Not the most modern, but that only adds to the genuine feeling

You get what you pay for. Clean beds, helpful owners. Wifi not great. But a good cheap place to stay for the night.
