Rodos Star Hotel

We had the best time ever! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and kept immaculately maintained and clean. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean with beautiful views over the village. The food was delicious and many different dishes, my wife is extremely fussy and she always found something that she liked to eat. Finally the staff, every single member of staff work so hard and always have a smile on their face and spare their time to talk to you. Moss is amazing and is constantly on the go to make sure that you are happy and everything is ok. Tony, pavalina and Filipe are the heart of the hotel and are the most wonderful people we have ever known. Every single person that is there are wonderful. There is plenty to do in the village with buses that are extremely cheap to go to falaraki and Rhodes. We had the most wonderful time and definitely recommend this place!

As we drove up the hill at 1 am I actually thought oh no what have we done, however we quickly realised we had nothing at all to worry about. We were greeted with a ham and cheese roll and a free drink from the bar even though the all inclusive had finished for the evening . We had a lovely clean room over looking the pool which was amazing especially when it was all light up at night. You do have to pay for air con in June as it’s out of season but it’s well worth the 35 euros for a week. Our air con was broken but was fixed the same day as promised. The food was fantastic the best I’ve ever had from an all inclusive with lots of choices and different dishes every day there is something for everybody. If the restaurant is closed the pool side snack room is open with pizzas, hot dogs and toasties and cake. The staff work so hard and nothing is too much trouble they just want you to have the best holiday. The manager Moss is the most beautiful person she is friendly, funny and nothing is too much trouble. She organised several excursions for us that went without a hitch and her recommendation’s of the boat trim to Lyndos and the night trip to Rhodes were both experiences we will remember for ever. Moss even tried to teach my partner some Greek dance moves on Greek night which was hilarious. All in all we had the best holiday and wished we had booked for longer so next year we are going back for 2 weeks and even bringing some family with us.

Have been before and will come again. Lovely staff. Good mix of Greek and international food. Great views as hotel is up a hill but it's walkable and we are in our 50s.

I honestly can not give this hotel enough love! It is a beautiful family run hotel and the pride they take in making everything perfect for you is their main priority! Every single member of staff work so hard and always with a smile on their face. Nothing is ever too much trouble! Moss is so wonderful and will always help in any situation. The girls in the restaurant, pavalina, mirela, Sylvia and despoina are just wonderful! Always caring and asking how you are, arbon and Filipe, again are true stars always ready and waiting with a drink for you! Remembering your order before you even ask! And Antwinis,(Tony) the friendliest man you could ever meet!, every single member of the staff are amazing, and obviously not forgetting the chefs and the maids! The food is wonderful and always plenty of choice, In general if you want a relaxing holiday surrounded by wonderful caring people then this is definitely the holiday for you!!

We had a wonderful time at Rodos star. We stayed for two weeks and didn't want to leave. Each year, something else gets done or improved. I have never seen staff work from april until october, seven days, and be so friendly and happy. All trips and car hire can be had from the lovely Moschoula, or Moss as she is more widely known. If you have any queries or problems, see her first at reception before tui and you will be sorted out immediately. Bar staff are fantastic, and remember your drinks orders from day one. The dining room staff are something else. You will be friends from day one. ( they like a little chocolate present to keep their energy levels up )... All in all, another fantastic time. Looking for my next booking.

Couldnt fault the staff they are lovely, very friendly and will do anything to help you. Moss the manager is fantastic always goes above and beyond to assist you with anything this is our 3rd time in this hotel and never had a bad experience.

This is a lovely hotel. Really clean, AMAZING food, super friendly staff. I took my 14 year old for a 4 night break, we did going just before the season opened so found there's not a lot to do. The village is a bit sparse, not a lot to see or do. We caught the bus into Rhodes, €5 return, but make sure you get the bus from exactly the same location you were dropped off. Don't book the tickets online because the drivers switch numbers around. The hotel itself it on a really steep hill, so take reviews about the steepness seriously. The pool itself is absolutely freezing, as are the swim up rooms. If youte looking for a couples hotel, then this is definitely the one for you. I wouldn't advise taking children as there's nothing for them to do.

Amazing time. Just a short 3 days break Warm welcome by the awesome and helpful Moss on reception. Paid the €5 per room/per night tourist tax then encouraged straight to the bar for a much needed drink. No forms to fill out no waiting for wrist bands. Red/white wines both nice, so was larger , cocktails also strong. However mixers were a bit too suite for my taste. The rum based one was good tho. The. AI ends at 11pm but don’t worry Batman will let you double up approaching 11 or even give you a plastic glass to take drinks to your rooom. You won’t be queuing for drinks as the Batman often spotted me approaching and had the drink ready by the time I got to the bar. Deffo worth tipping !!! Food is really good and varied and always found something nice and tasty. Really don’t need to pay to eat out with such good food available. Poolsides snacks from 10 to 4:30pm include nice pizza hot dogs and also toasties (which you make yourself ) along with tasty cakes so handy if you miss breakfast Room is fairly basic but all we need. Comfy beds clean towels everyday. (No beach towels). TV included. Aircon and safe charges extra. Hotel is top of hill with stunning views. , village of amfantou has loads of bars and shops. Buses to Lindos or Rhodes very cheap village is a 3 minute walk. Deffo need to consider the hilly location if you have very small children / prams or not great at walking (Strava confined 133 foot of gain from village to hotel) . We found the walk no bother at all. Around 30 mins walk to the beach.
