Corfu Mare Hotel

My wife and I enjoyed our week at this hotel at the end of August into September. The rooms were OK with air conditioning & a ceiling fan. The reception area was pleasant with plenty of seating & a small library. The dining room was bright & airy & weather permitting a few tables around the pool in the evening with good entertainment some nights. The food was excellent & we enjoyed dining there most nights as restaurants are scarce in the vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast was very good as well & catered for most tastes with homemade cakes, pastries & jam. The bar served lunch also & drinks were
reasonably priced. It's a nice pool area & sun loungers were always available. We could not fault the staff who were all excellent at their jobs. Recommend.

Excellent staff, great restaurant that serves large portions of. We liked the tomato soup, chicken club sandwich & gyro club.
It is hard to sleep, though because the airplanes fly directly overhead all night long. The furniture is stained and their marks on the bathroom wall. They need a renovation.

This is possibly the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in ( we have stayed in many hotels!)
From our arrival, the staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and hospitable.
The room was exceptionally clean and bed very comfortable.
The Restaurant Staff were exceptional, with the lovely Vassili and wonderful waitresses going above and beyond at every meal time!
They work so hard, always cheerful however busy they are.
Food was delicious , and we found plenty to choose from the Set Menu.
The pool is a good size and enough Sun loungers.
Brilliant Gym for size of the hotel.
Location is about 30 mins walk to the Old Town which is stunning.
We did a Day Boat Cruise & BBQ, and hired a Scooter for the day, both were fabulous experiences.
It’s the attention to detail that makes this hotel outstanding - it is very important to the staff that you have the very best time. They take so much pride in their work - we Brits have much to learn from the Corfiots!
We can honestly say, we have never left a hotel before feeling like we were leaving family, but this is exactly how we felt.
We will definitely return and would very highly recommend this wonderful , gem of a hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel a truly hidden gem amongst residential houses, set back from the main road. Rooms are spacious with A/C, fridge and tea and coffee facillities, with a very comfy bed. The reception team are welcoming and happy to help assist with planning your day. Breakfast is served in a buffet format with hot and continental to choose from. Dinner is served in the restaurant area with a varied menu of starters, salads, mains and desserts to choose from. They are very generous portions! The staff are very attentive and will fulfil requests. A straight walk into town however walking alongside a fast / busy road, this is manageable for those with adequate fitness levels (baring in mind it is very hot with little shade).

Very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the pool area was great and they offer additional towels to use in the pool area for a deposit. The only thing that was a bit annoying was trying to use the pool area: the guests (in my opinion very rude) leave their towels on the sun beds to reserve their places and leave.

Fabulous hotel. The rooms were exquisite, the staff was very helpful and the setting is amazing. It could not have been better,

A wonderful place to really relax and unwind. Great food, great staff team, great attention to detail. We'd love to come back!

Brilliant hotel overlooking the sea. The hotel staff were fantastic and friendly, and they really went the extra mile with their help. I would definitely visit again. The hotel is relatively close to the old town and attractions in Corfu - around 25 min to walk. The area wasn't too busy or loud, as it wasn't central - which was nice if you wanted a bit of quiet. Breakfast at the hotel was good, and there was a good selection of hot foods, baked goods, and more. There is a small pool that guests can use, which was nice. The hotel room was of a decent standard and a good size. Overall, we had a great time in Corfu.
