Telesilla Hotel in Kontokali

We stayed at Telesilla Hotel in July/August and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a delicious breakfast and great service. The rooms are not very big, but still comfortable and perfectly fine for our stay.

A very special thank you goes to Thanos (the man with the bun at the reception). He not only took the time to explain all the special places on the island and even helped us plan our itinerary, but he was also always curious to hear about what we had done, polite, and genuinely eager to help. We truly felt that his good intentions came from the heart and that he really enjoys his work. Thanks to him, we were able to discover Corfu in the best possible way.

We are deeply grateful for the warm hospitality and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Corfu!

Absolute amazing Hotel facilities and the staff are amazing. I will definitely visit again either. Recommend anyone to visit if they have not been before.

I wanted to come here to highlight how incredible our stay at Hotel Telesilla was.
We were there at the end of September for 4 nights for my bachelorette/hen do and it was absolutely perfect.

The night we arrived, we arrived around 11pm and even though the kitchen was about to close the F&B team was so accommodating and said they could do little starters for us as thats what they had left- which was PERFECT for us. Thomas, who was the one that greeted us, made sure that we were happy with the food and drinks and made us feel right at home (which is what staying at the hotel felt like honestly!).

But more onto the team and how amazing they are later…. 🤍

On our second day, after spending a whole day at the beach, we decided to go back to the hotel for dinner because the food was THAT good. (And please trust me when I say this as I lived in Greece for 6 years! )To my surprise, the team had worked secretly with my bridal party to plan a little surprise for me at our table. It was so lovely! So much thought and love was put into it.

The other nights were just as fantastic. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.
Thomas, George and the team were probably the highlight of our trip,m. From their hospitality, to their friendless to their humour- just all in all phenomenal people. They truly care about guests, it really felt like we were all one big family.

So to the team: Thank you so much for everything. You made my bachelorette so memorable and wonderful. You made us laugh so much, made us incredible food (shoutout to the kitchen team- we love you), made us delicious drinks (still thinking about the peach pleasure cocktail …shoutout to the team!), and overall just made us feel so loved and welcome.
You guys are the best, we love you. We hope to see you again next year!

Stunning hotel, spotless clean rooms & pool area. Staff were very helpfull. Food was delicious and cocktails by the pool were lovely. We stayed in a family room overlooking the pool which was perfect. The kids loved the bunkbeds also. I cannot fault this hotel in anyway and I look forward to returning again next year. 5 stars from me.

We stayed here with our one-year-old baby and it was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is small but very cozy, clean, and everything feels new. The staff were lovely — always friendly and helpful. The location is great, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel and basic services like a supermarket and pharmacy just steps away.

Fantastic family run hotel. Could not do enough for you. You were made to feel part of the family .

Very close to marina and nice restaurants. Hotel has a good promotion material about local activities and wine events.

We stayed here for one night because it was fully booked for the other nights.
The staff is very lovely, they help you with anything you need. The room is very clean. You have a lot of choices on breakfast and it was delicious. We stayed on Thursday night, and we didnt hear any noise coming out from the pool/restaurant area.
If you willing to go to the town, you need a 10min ride. For the price you pay in here you get much more than you expect ❤️

Corfu Stay
We were on our way to Saranda, Albania so decided to spend a couple of days in Corfu before making the one hour ferry ride to Albania. Although the hotel is only 15 minutes from the ferry terminal, ($54CAD taxi) it is about 25 minutes from Old Town. We took the city bus to Old Town on recommendation from the hotel and it was a little over $3CAD to the Old Town where we had a wonderful time. The hotel is a bit out of the way but there are plenty of restaurants, including one in the hotel, to choose from. The pool is a nice addition along with the very nice breakfast. The hotel is on a busy road which makes for a bit of a difficult sleep. Ask for a poolside room rather than roadside. The lounge music might be a bit of a bother but better than the roaring motorbikes and vehicles with high pitched exhaust systems. A nice enough hotel but Old Town would be our choice next time.
