We stayed there in 2021 and to this day it’s the most nostalgic trip we’ve ever had. Everything was impeccable, the room and service as we just luxuriated in our private pool all day taking in the view. Very romantic!

Nice small hotel. Booked the honeymoon suite, quaint room with bed in the loft area. With rounding ceiling my husband hit his head the first day. Other than daily breakfast no other restaurant option and no store/market for incidentals. Too far at least for us to walk to either Fira or Oia. Better if one has a rental car.

Lovely Stay at Abelonas Retreat Golden East moved my booking here, and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, and I could see both the sunrise and sunset – absolutely beautiful views. We stayed in the room with the loft. The views were stunning. The front desk guy was very informative about the area. It is the perfect place as home base while exploring. 30 min walk to Fira. Rooms are pristine with cleaning service twice daily. Views are spectacular, breakfast delicious. White glove staff will assist with any question or request. Massage services excellent. Only 6 rooms so it's quiet and can enjoy the property.

It is totally worth my money! The customer service is top notch. They are very welcoming , kind, and they make you feel at home. The view from the hotel is one of the best and their pool is super cool. They have jacuzzi for some rooms as well. Its hands down one of the best hotels I have stayed in all my travels.
