Nice personnel, excellent location, very clean, breakfast good but not extraordinary.

Good location, good food, spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds, good views. The friendliness of the restaurant personnel varies. The younger ones are very friendly and eager to please but do not speak much and seem nervous. One of the older ones takes all the beverage orders, and he is unfriendly to the guests and bosses the younger ones around.

Nice location, interesting architecture of the building, spacious areas. Renovation and maintenance in soecific areas is mandatory. Cleaning staff and the guys who help with the luggage were extremely polite, especially the tall big guy is an asset for the hotel with his welcoming attitude and remarkable client orientation. Reception staff could be more smiley and pleasant.

A lovely hotel, sat on its own slightly out of town but near another bar, a fabulous cake shop and a few amazing Gyros places. The pool was quiet and it had two beaches easily accessibly directly from the hotel.

Excellent hotel with amazing views and great staff. Location couldn’t be better away from the busy downtown yet only 4 min drive away with tons of restaurants around. Most amazing part is that it’s got three beaches and a great pool. Only downside is parking at times could be challenging.

Nice hotel located right in the port. Sea view rooms are wonderful. The rooftop restaurant has a magnificent view over the whole town.

It was very enjoyable to have a varied breakfast with a magnificent view. It was also very advantageous to stay somewhere within walking distance after the activities in the city. The staff at the reception were competent enough to help with everything. They were even able to make parking a non-issue with clear explanations.

The location is excellent. The city bus and intercity bus stops are right in front, and it is close to the beach. There are many convenience stores and good restaurants, and there are many places to buy souvenirs, so I was very satisfied.

The breakfast area has a nice view and the variety is ok The room is small. The bathroom facilities are outdated. The shower water is not hot. The floor does not drain water. But the price is cheap and the location is excellent Not many options around Basically no parking space

Not bad! We have room without balcony, it was clean, the room without natural light, relative small, but elegant! Bathroom big and very clean, a lot of natural light … not like in the room :) … Air conditioning worked very well, good breakfast bufet ….

I had a fabulous stay at the Oceanis. Fantastic location in the middle of Kavala - a thriving and beautiful little town. Very high quality hotel for an affordable price - with rooms recently renovated. Great rooftop pool and a lovely breakfast with a wide selection of options. Staff all super friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back soon!

Well located and well maintained old hotel. It is close to everything in Kavala. You could walk to beach, major square, restaurants, shops and to the famous Monument Apostle Paul Arrival Church. Nice balcony with nice views. Lot of traffic around the hotel building, but it is very walkable hotel. Will revisit next time.

Very nice hotel , very close from the centre has everything around like supermarkets, souvenirs store, coffee store. The staff in front office, breakfast and rooftop - swimming pool are very friendly and amazing. If you looking for one value for money hotel the Oceanis hotel is a very good option. The location is so good,you are near the beach. The cleanless was good,the rooms were clean. The bed was comfy and the food was good. The staff were friendly. It could be better if they offered more food. I am from North Macedonia the ride was good and when you are going to arrive in the hotel they are going to guest you and help you anything what you need!

I stayed for 5 nights whilst working in Northern Greece in June this year (2025). The Hotel is easy to find, being situated on the extreme west side of the city. The city centre and waterfront is a 5 minute drive further down the road. Parking is limited but adequate-the spaces are mostly adjacent to the hotel. The hotel itself is quite small and offers a boutique feel-the rooms are well-appointed...

We had a great experience in the spa facilities of the hotel. The staff (especially Despina) was kind and helpful! The relaxing atmosphere, clean environment, and excellent services made our visit unforgettable and truly rejuvenating.

On our trip back to Türkiye we stopped at Kavala. All hotels were full for without prior reservation. However we were very lucky to find a room at Egnetis City Hotel and it turned out to be a very good experience. The location is great. There was parking place and the breakfast was great.

the hotel is situtated in top hill on the city center (2 kms to center on foot ) and there is parking lot outside otel . the view from hotels balcony to city and sea is fascinating . you can drink your teas at the end of day from this view , the sun is setting scenery . otel is clean no covid passport customers are accepted or at least yyou have to get a quick test . hotel rooms are clean and big...

We booked a room with a mountain view. It was very spacious, with relatively modern facilities. And the bathroom very nice, with a shower with glass doors. As for breakfast, a wide variety and very tasty! Very good value for money. We highly recommend it!

Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, a rich and delicious breakfast and a fantastic Roof Garden with a view of Thassos and the whole city, but above all the exquisite Dimitris, Leonidas and Lydias, who give professional lessons... Unreservedly recommended!

It's a nice place. The food is nice , the people are welcoming and helpful and the room is ok. When we got here the door couldn't open ,but they helped us. The room is ok ,there wasn't a program in Bulgarian, good thing I know English.... Regardless I liked my stay here.

Well it is in the heart of the city you have a great view and it is value for money. The service is excellent and if you are lucky you may find a parking spot in their parking. I booked in late November (off season) and the prices where fine.

Very nice place to stay! Location is center of the city, you can walk everywhere. Rooms are very clean and they have great view (best part) 😍 Team is very friendly, especially we loved Dimitris who guided to us in the reception. Lovely hotel🤩

We stayed at the hotel in September. Reading the reviews, we didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised; the room was clean, including the bathroom. The breakfast was very varied and abundant. The waitress even warned us that birds might land on the terrace where breakfast is served, so she recommended sitting indoors. We sat outside anyway, and the pigeons didn't land on the tables...

The bathrooms are renoveted, everything else is old. There is only one power socket next to the bed. The second one in the entire room is behind the TV. WiFi is not great, but its stable. Avererage ~8/2 Mbps Breakfast was good.

Imaret hotel is a gem. The hotel is actually a historical building with lots of history (take the free tour to learn all about it) The service and staff were absolutely excellent. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The dining was truly 5 star (and I did not realize that dinner was included in the booking as well as breakfast) Bookings are pricey even by 5 star standards but I don’t regret...

Beautiful hotel, clean, dreamy and amazing views of Kavala. The staff went above and beyond during our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed. We were also invited to do the hotel tour to learn about the history and it is something I recommend everyone does. The breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was delicious. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We stayed two nights there. The room was nice although bit dated. The location was good and the stuff very friendly. Overall for low budget I will recommend to stay there, very good value for money.

Very nice place with a very artistic lobby, where you can meet anyone you wish (even for professional reasons). The paintings of the famous Greek painter and engraver Takis Tsentemaidis provide a superb quality at the place!

We visited the hotel in early December 2018, the staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and and was of a good size. The breakfasts were good. The Nefeli hotelbis a very good Value for money property. I will definitely be staying there on my next visit to Kavala..

The best location in downtown Kavala. You wouldn't ask for anything more to fully enjoy the city. Friendly staff, always doing their best to improve the services and incorporate new practices. The roof garden, operating in summer, offers a fascinating view, one you'll keep in your memory for the rest of your life.

Nice hotel in a charming house. beds are comfortable and the bathrooms clean . Be aware that there are narrow and steep stairs to access the room. That was our second time at Kavala and Old Town Inn. Aristea and Maria are kind, helpful and accurate in what they say and suggest. Our room was comfortable, clean and (due to Easter) we also got some amenities. The location is great since you are just a few steps away from the old city and the city's waterfront. For those who would like a city break in Kavala, Old Town Inn is strongly suggested

It was super clean to start with. I stayed solo, the room was OK for 1 person. Right at the heart of Kavala. Do not expect any room service, but u have coffee in the room. Restaurant on the street is busy and plays loud music on Saturday till about 1 am, but i was out anyways. No parking. You can stall the car for a few minutes to unload but then you have to move. I would come back. 🤙🏼

This is the type of place I always try to find in cities, but it’s often out of reach price wise. Perfect location, super well kept, charming room with high ceiling, and two (!) French balconies with great views. Also, staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. No elevator, if that’s of importance, and bathroom slightly tiny.

While it has clearly has a dated “Fawlty Towers” of Kavala feel the, frankly, slightly grumpy old lady who runs it, Madame Athena, will open up with some charm to you once you do! The street side rooms are pretty noisy and basic, but room No. 15. which has a harbour views and balcony is spectacular. Rather like the proprietress herself there a “faded grandeur” to the establishment which suits well...

It's an old hotel at the city center. The host is so nice. It has a wonderful view. It's an old hotel but the sheets and towels are perfectly clean.

Excellent location and very good value for single room. I checked in last minute. This is one of the first hotel in Kavala that has been running since 1935. It has old historical charm and owner lady is one who will check you in and clean your room. Very basic wooden antique furniture, bit dated. We were a large group, 4 families with children, we have booked several apartments and we enjoyed our stay in Kavala and especially here in Blue View Apartments. This location has a dream panorama, the balcony is equipped with sunshades, tables, chairs and cloth holder, from here you can see the sea, the rooms are spacious and clean, the services are very good, the daily cleaning, the towels and linen are changed, which are very clean.
