Where to stay in Kavala

Very nice hotel , very close from the centre has everything around like supermarkets, souvenirs store, coffee store. The staff in front office, breakfast and rooftop - swimming pool are very friendly and amazing. If you looking for one value for money hotel the Oceanis hotel is a very good option. Goog job guys 👏👏👏

Clean rooms, great location, good breakfast selection, roof top pool is pleasant Unfortunately reception refuses to provide a second key for a double room. The gym area is extremely minimal.

Perfect location, good price, breakfast service is good, clean rooms. only matter is parking facility, but this is common for Greece. I paid €10 for 24h to a close parking area.

Nothing quality served for breakfast, everything of inferior quality even the corn flakes taste like plastic, marmalades just watery jellies, biscuits with margarine, no thing. Rooms are simple, with mini cleanliness issues here and there. The back rooms are a bit noisy from the ventilation power units. The refurbished rooms had furniture of particle board puffed up by water. As everyone comments...

Very comfortable place. The location is great, basically you are in the city centre. The room was comfortable and clean, with great size bed. We didn’t book a room with a balcony but the staff was kind and upgraded our reservation. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool, however breakfast was delicious.

Rooms dated, but fully functional for those, like me, on a budget. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, with staff able to cope with the coach of people that were staying. Also hot things laid out in one place so you had to queue there and then queue again for other things meaning your hot food for cold. Great location though.

Location is good, you maybe will have a problem with the parking - they dinted have. Also the room is so dirty and noisy. You can hear the people from the other room when they are in the WC😬 Also the AiC is so bad. One good thing is the location of the hotel. 10 min to center and 10 min from some beach.

A 3-star review for a 3 star hotel. First, we got on the wrong foot when they gave us a dirty room. It was supposed to be 'recently renovated' but had stains on the furniture and on the walls. You can see the pictures. Also, it had hair on the floor in the room and bathroom, sand and dust. We asked them to change the room and they did. Very clean hotel, nice rooms, and very good location. There is a parking lot on the other side of the road, but there is a market organized there during weekend, so you can't leave your car there on that period. However, there is a local parking spot on the left side of the hotel, a few blocks away.

The hotel is in there centre of Kavala close to the sea. It is very clean, especially with this "special" period.. there are disinfectants everywhere. We had every pleasant surprise when we arrived because we got an upgrade to a room with a sea view. The room was spacious, the furniture looked well taken care of. We stayed two nights there. The room was nice although bit dated. The location was good and the stuff very friendly. Overall for low budget I will recommend to stay there, very good value for money.

Very nice place with a very artistic lobby, where you can meet anyone you wish (even for professional reasons). The paintings of the famous Greek painter and engraver Takis Tsentemaidis provide a superb quality at the place!

We visited the hotel in early December 2018, the staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and and was of a good size. The breakfasts were good. The Nefeli hotelbis a very good Value for money property. I will definitely be staying there on my next visit to Kavala..

The best location in downtown Kavala. You wouldn't ask for anything more to fully enjoy the city. Friendly staff, always doing their best to improve the services and incorporate new practices. The roof garden, operating in summer, offers a fascinating view, one you'll keep in your memory for the rest of your life.

Best apartments in Kavala. Great view to the sea and the island Thassos. Premium rooms, which were recently new designed. The owner is always available and provides very good recommendations for restaurants, beaches and other places to be. Tasty breakfast also availble. This location has a dream panorama, the balcony is equipped with sunshades, tables, chairs and cloth holder, from here you can see the sea, the rooms are spacious and clean, the services are very good, the daily cleaning, the towels and linen are changed, which are very clean. It has a kitchen with everything you need for cooking, air conditioning, TV, comfortable sofas, large beds and good mattresses...

Very nice hosts that care about their guests. The traditional house is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The common rooms and the kitchen are also a big plus.

Traditional building. Nicely restored. Super service even if you arrive at odd times. Right in the center and easy at walking distance to good tavernas.

The inn is very central, close to the old town and to the port. It is cozy, the owners and workers are very friendly and helpful, as well as extremely cooperative. Many parking places are available nearby during the night, or you can pay 5€ per day to reserve a parking space at a private parking lot nearby. Great stay at Elia City House. We booked for 3 days and loved Kavala, so we stayed another 3 days. The house was clean, modern, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Great central location to explore the city. We also went to Thassos for a day trip. The hosts, Dimitri and Hara, were thoughtful, and most helpful. The food recommendations were excellent.

The host was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. They were always available to answer any questions or offer assistance. The house itself was a real treasure - it was modern, stylishly designed, and had all the amenities we needed.
