Where to stay in Kavala

Very nice hotel , very close from the centre has everything around like supermarkets, souvenirs store, coffee store. The staff in front office, breakfast and rooftop - swimming pool are very friendly and amazing. If you looking for one value for money hotel the Oceanis hotel is a very good option. Goog job guys 👏👏👏

Clean rooms, great location, good breakfast selection, roof top pool is pleasant Unfortunately reception refuses to provide a second key for a double room. The gym area is extremely minimal.

Perfect location, good price, breakfast service is good, clean rooms. only matter is parking facility, but this is common for Greece. I paid €10 for 24h to a close parking area.

We stayed two nights there. The room was nice although bit dated. The location was good and the stuff very friendly. Overall for low budget I will recommend to stay there, very good value for money.

Very nice place with a very artistic lobby, where you can meet anyone you wish (even for professional reasons). The paintings of the famous Greek painter and engraver Takis Tsentemaidis provide a superb quality at the place!

We visited the hotel in early December 2018, the staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and and was of a good size. The breakfasts were good. The Nefeli hotelbis a very good Value for money property. I will definitely be staying there on my next visit to Kavala..

The best location in downtown Kavala. You wouldn't ask for anything more to fully enjoy the city. Friendly staff, always doing their best to improve the services and incorporate new practices. The roof garden, operating in summer, offers a fascinating view, one you'll keep in your memory for the rest of your life.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel, the reception, the friendly service of the restaurant staff and the breakfast. The only downside was that the room was very small and the soundproofing was poor.

Stayed in this hotel whilst on a group tour. Room was hot but was manageable if the air conditioning was left on during the night . View from small balcony seemed to be a busy side road however the room was quiet as you had a shutter door & normal.door so was good sound proofing from outside noise. Rooms are every basic & need an update however they do the job , quiet & clean. I liked the breakfast...

Rooms dated, but fully functional for those, like me, on a budget. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, with staff able to cope with the coach of people that were staying. Also hot things laid out in one place so you had to queue there and then queue again for other things meaning your hot food for cold. Great location though.

Best apartments in Kavala. Great view to the sea and the island Thassos. Premium rooms, which were recently new designed. The owner is always available and provides very good recommendations for restaurants, beaches and other places to be. Tasty breakfast also availble. Located in a quiet area of Kavala, which makes it comfortable and relaxed. Also enough car parking directly in front of the location...

Nice and clean accomodation. We could see the sea from our room.

This location has a dream panorama, the balcony is equipped with sunshades, tables, chairs and cloth holder, from here you can see the sea, the rooms are spacious and clean, the services are very good, the daily cleaning, the towels and linen are changed, which are very clean. It has a kitchen with everything you need for cooking, air conditioning, TV, comfortable sofas, large beds and good mattresses...

It is a great place. The owners are very polite and cool people. The place is in the heart if the old town, so you can go to the beach or the fortress in no time. A lot of beautiful bars around, especially Melina bar. The residence is very clean, it has a balcony overseeing the sea. It is really a place to relax and enjoy your time while on vacation.

what a cool place.. Sophia and Thanos were such kind people, very accomodating. i would have loved to stay longer and spoken more to Thanos, he really was an awesome dude! the common areas are very nice and relaxing. there is a full shared kitchen, kind of hostel style! really a fun place to stay. Very nice hosts that care about their guests. The traditional house is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The common rooms and the kitchen are also a big plus.

Ein schönes Wochenende mit Freunden in Kavala! In diesem schönen kleinen Hotel old Town in ! Es liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt Kavalas und man erreicht alles wunderbar zu Fuß . Saubere nette kleine Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon. Man sollte sich darauf einstellen, dass es in der Nacht schon mal etwas lauter werden kann, uns hat das aber nicht weiter gestört, ist halt mitten in der Altstadt.

Nice hotel in a charming house. beds are comfortable and the bathrooms clean . Be aware that there are narrow and steep stairs to access the room. Καταπληκτικό μέρος μείναμε για 3 βράδια πραγματικά στην καρδιά της πόλης το μπαλκόνι μας μεγάλο! Τα μαγαζιά ήταν ακριβώς δίπλα μας με το που βγαίναμε από το ξενοδοχείο, πολύ όμορφο προσωπικό πάντα χαμογελαστοί ☺️ το δωμάτιο μας πολύ καθαρό με ότι χρειάζεσαι μέσα υπάρχει ένα μίνι μπαρ που μέσα έχει ότι χρειάζεσαι πεντακάθαρο δωμάτιο τιμή πολύ καλή 😊 το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα 😊 σίγουρα θα ξανά έρθουμ...

This is the type of place I always try to find in cities, but it’s often out of reach price wise. Perfect location, super well kept, charming room with high ceiling, and two (!) French balconies with great views. Also, staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. No elevator, if that’s of importance, and bathroom slightly tiny.

Ottima posizione al centro di Kavala . Pulito accogliente e in zona tranquilla pur essendo centrale (noi eravamo in moto). Vicino, il porto turistico e tanti localini per rilassarsi un pò. Personale molto professionale , sarete sempre coccolati e consigliati. Un saluto e un ringraziamento alla nostra cara amica che ci ha fatto sentire a casa.

Great stay at Elia City House. We booked for 3 days and loved Kavala, so we stayed another 3 days. The house was clean, modern, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Great central location to explore the city. We also went to Thassos for a day trip. The hosts, Dimitri and Hara, were thoughtful, and most helpful. The food recommendations were excellent.

The host was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. They were always available to answer any questions or offer assistance. The house itself was a real treasure - it was modern, stylishly designed, and had all the amenities we needed. Excellent hospitality! Very warm and helpful owners! The location is ideal for a 5-minute walk from the center and the harbor.
