The city bus and intercity bus stops are right in front, and it is close to the beach. There are many convenience stores and good restaurants, and there are many places to buy souvenirs, so I was very satisfied

The staff at the reception were competent enough to help with everything. They were even able to make parking a non-issue with clear explanations

They had the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. The sheets and the towels were also smelling fresh , the bed was comfortable and big enough. People working there were kind and ready to help you at any time

Nice hotel located right in the port. Sea view rooms are wonderful. The rooftop restaurant has a magnificent view over the whole town.

It was very enjoyable to have a varied breakfast with a magnificent view. It was also very advantageous to stay somewhere within walking distance after the activities in the city

Well it is in the heart of the city you have a great view and it is value for money. The service is excellent and if you are lucky you may find a parking spot in their parking

We stayed at the hotel in September. Reading the reviews, we didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised; the room was clean, including the bathroom. The breakfast was very varied and abundant

The waitress even warned us that birds might land on the terrace where breakfast is served, so she recommended sitting indoors. We sat outside anyway, and the pigeons didn't land on the tables

We stayed two nights there. The room was nice although bit dated. The location was good and the stuff very friendly. Overall for low budget I will recommend to stay there, very good value for money.

Staff could not be more helpful; great recommendations and correct information. Beautiful rooms, very well sound-proofed and air-conditioned. No lift, so not ideal for travellers with mobility issues

Although it is a small boutique hotel, it is a facility where you will enjoy your stay thanks to its location in the city center, close to historical places, close to the ferry to Thassos, close to the seaside and thanks to Aristea who tries to help you in every way

The location is great since you are just a few steps away from the old city and the city's waterfront. For those who would like a city break in Kavala, Old Town Inn is strongly suggested

This is the type of place I always try to find in cities, but it’s often out of reach price wise. Perfect location, super well kept, charming room with high ceiling, and two (!) French balconies with great views

We stayed whilst travelling to the airport at Thessonaliki good holding point but the best action in Kavala is round this hotel well fitted out and you are in the centra of what’s going on

That was our second time at Kavala and Old Town Inn. Aristea and Maria are kind, helpful and accurate in what they say and suggest. Our room was comfortable, clean and (due to Easter) we also got some amenities

It's an old hotel at the city center. The host is so nice. It has a wonderful view. It's an old hotel but the sheets and towels are perfectly clean.

She speaks correct English, and isn't disrespectful or anything, maybe just less welcoming than the topical Greek. Nothing too shocking for a Bulgarian like me. Regarding the rooms, they are old-fashioned

Surprised to read all the reviews in here, so I'll try to give a complete one for any person who'd be interested in coming to this hotel. Location-wise, you can't do better, really

Very nice hotel! The room was nice, clean, the matress was excellent. The breakfast was woanderfull!! All very good for a 2 stars. In front of the hotel you have plenty parking place!!

Although just a 2 stars hotel, it was very clean, has everything we needed, very close to the beach and port and staff has an exceptional attitude. I recommend and not only for transits.

There is beach 2 minutes away, but you need to cross a busy road with no walkmarks, so its kinda dangerous to do it with the kids. The beach is clean and the food at the beach bar/restaurant is good - very big dishes

Villa Nickolas has a very good position. It is close to the sea, but also to Kavala. The hosts were very careful with us. Knowing that we have a baby and coming out of the way have been waiting for us with snacks

Great place, exceeded my expectations! We stayed with friends in an apartment for 4 people, the rooms were two separate bedrooms with separate bathrooms and entrances, which is super convenient

We had breakfast and dinner, and breakfast is at a buffet table, and dinner is in a neighboring restaurant next to the hotel, and you can choose directly from the menu, very varied and tasty

Porto Palio Beach hotel is a fantastic place for a private summer vacation in Greece. This quiet hotel offers quality vacation time. It has its own beach, with umbrellas and sun beds reserved for the hotel's guests

For evrything else there are either stairs or downhill road. Sleep was great, beds and pillows are comfy. Angeliki is very helpfull, cleaning ladies are great. Thank you for lovely vacation

The only minuses of the hotel itself are humidity in rooms couse you can make air circulate and the fact that only thing on a ground floor is reception and restaurant

Location of the hotel is 4 just becouse Palio is like in the middle of a road, nowhere to walk, the place itself is not for reccomendation

For a peaceful holiday away from the buzz of the larger coastal beach resort, Amalia hotel and Palio are the place to be! The hotel is spotless, comfy and there aren't enough words to explain the owners' hospitality! Have been twice and will definitely come back :)

It's not on the main road and it's quiet in the evening. There is no interesting view on the ground floor. The building next door can give you a new incentive to be satisfied with life

The hotel has been recently renovated and all areas are air-conditioned and spotless clean. Reception and breakfast area are well lit and comfortable

It was a bit weird to see half of the wardrobes full of clothes and linens, but at least we’ve had everything we could’ve need as additional sheets, towels and supplies

The water of the beach is not very clean but there are very beautiful beaches near the village. Most of the locals are friendly so you will feel like you are in the home country. The roads are not very good organized

The confusing and the missing street signs can cause you problems with locals. There are a big stores with great varaety of goods, so when it comes to foods and drinks you will have everything that you need
