Mediterranean Blue Mini-hotel

Just back from a weeks half board staying at Mediterranean Blue Kavos. Penny and her staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble and service with a smile. 😁 The room was good and comfy beds. Good choice of food every evening and two pools to choice from. We had a wonderful time and look forward to seeing you again next year.

Great place to stay 15 min walk from centre beach 2 mins away clean and tidy penny couldent do enough for us made us feel welcome we will be back .

This is my 5th year visiting the Med Blue!! It’s such an amazing hotel! Penny and the team always go above and beyond for us (hence why I have come back so many times!) Every time I have visited I have been in a different room, this year was definitely my favourite time. We stayed over looking the sea! The rooms are clean, spacious and have a fridge! My partner is Cealiac and they always go above and beyond to offer alternatives to make sure he could eat at breakfast / dinner etc! Even going so far as to offer a different desert when he couldn’t eat the desert offered at dinner. The hotel is a quick 5 minute walk to a lovely quiet beach area. It’s clean and the sunbeds are all well maintained. There are options for excursions to different places, these are easy to book and affordable. The Blue Lagoon boat tour and Aqualand is a must! Will always recommend this hotel and hope to be seeing it again soon!

The hotel had their very own private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas within 5 minutes walk. Food was exceptional. Our stay was half-board and the evening meal included a salad, appetiser, main and dessert. Portions were very generous. Breakfast was a buffet with so much to choose from. All was delicious! As we were walking the Corfu Trail we only got to stay one night, but would definitely stay there again.

My boyfriend and I are 19&20 and stayed at the Mediterranean Blue Hotel for 5 nights. We had an unbelievably wonderful stay; the staff are all super kind and friendly, Penny the owner is always willing to help and recognised us every time we came back from a day out, which made the experience feel even more homely. The room was perfect, equipt with everything we needed and had a lovely view of the island. The beach is less than 5 minutes walk away and has sun beds for the hotel guests, and wasn’t busy when we visited. We paid for a bed and breakfast but also dined a few times at the hotel, and the food was delicious and authentic. The cocktails were also fabulous!

The hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk from Kavos town, which was ideal for going out to eat or to do some shopping; we aren’t really the clubbing/party type and the location meant we weren’t bothered by any of the noise at night, but it was all close enough to walk to if we wanted to go.
In all honesty we would have loved to stay longer, it’s the best holiday we’ve ever had. We would recommend this hotel to anybody, from families to younger couples like ourselves. Thankyou for a fabulous stay!

It didn't take long for me to feel welcome.I had a very nice airy room with terrace. Breakfast was good and mostly traditional. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble, arranging tours,and providing taxi if required. There is a private beach with loungers.The pool is surrounded by loungers,and towels can be borrowed. Blue Mediterranean treats guests like family.

As you step through the Blue Meds gates for the 1st time, imagine your stepping onto a cruise ship that navigates well beyond travellers 3 star expectations. At the helm is the wonderful Penny, the Captain, who gently steers to meet everyone's needs and who goes well beyond her duties to make your stay the best and always with a smile that i wont forget. Her staff are as equally courteous, professional, warm & humorous and will make you feel like part of their family, it was the nicest friendliest hotel I have stayed in as the service came with great local knowledge & advice of unspoilt natural beautiful beaches - Arkoudilas beach - (I fell in love with) 2.5km walk or drive down a beautiful olive grove track but take yr own drink & food, there are no bucket & spade shops there! If you dont fancy the walk the hotel has its own beach much closer by with sunbeds! The Monestary Hike & Cape Asprokavos for stunning views of Arkoudilas and beautiful woodlands with a really peaceful vibe is a must - I can honestly say I miss Penny and her staff as their service to me was with passion, love and a genuine desire to care for all visitors from various country's- I will be going back and I never do that!! *****Go there - you won't be disappointed, whoever you are or where you come from x

For the seventh year we stayed at Med Blue in Kavos. Everytime it feels like coming home. The owners Penny en Vasilis call it our second home and we agree, it is. We like it there because the owners and their staff are friendly, helping people, who care for their guests. After so many years they became friends. Our children stayed there also and are looking for going back as well. See you all next year. Iris and Joost

Just back from a week in the Med Blue , we picked here solely based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Penny and the team will literally bend over backwards to help with anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We went on two trips , Aqualand and Blue Lagoon boat trip , both trips were great , booked by Penny and picked up and dropped off at the hotel front door. The ***** was very quiet but to be expected at the time of the year , plenty of restaurants still open but most bars were closed , it was a 15 minute walk away around the beach or 5 minutes in the house taxi. Cannot fault either the hotel or the resort , I imagine it would be quite hectic at peak summertime but that's the exact reason we went when we did.
