Spot clean, cozy, basic good facilities, good breakfast. Very nice and clean pool. Short walk to Matala beach. Matala is a special beautiful place that you don t have to miss in your trip in Crete.Would i came back? Big yes!

The manager scared my wife. He came within 30 centimeters of us screaming and pointing his finger at us while calling us liars. She did not feel safe and we had to leave at 2100.
His angry outburst was because we calmly requested a different room.

The worst experience in Greece so far. I had this feeling as we just checked in and I had reminded that I want to add details to my invoice as it was stated in Booking. The manager (probably owner) was quite arrogant, saying that he does not have time for that (he had 3 days and all the time before the booking as it was done months in advance). The room. The AC didn't work properly, the door lock to the balcony was broken, I had to use a chair to block the door from inside. The door lock to the bathroom was broken and my wife stuck there in the night and had to wake me up by screaming. Once we complained about all that, the manager said again that he does not have time for that, all rooms are booked and if we are not happy, we are free to leave for the hotels nearby at 250/night. Bravo, that's what I call "real" customer experience and support!! It's very strange and unusual to see in Greece, especially in Crete as I have been traveling so often. In the end , I was trying to request the proper invoice at the check out and it was the same attitude, no support, ignorance and arrogance, pretending to not speak or understand English. Never again!

Very good AC, and breakfast, bathroom is very limited but managable, very friendly dog (im scared of dogs but wasnt scared of this one very cute), pool area was amazing as well, very clean pool. Very sleepy dog attached for cute purposes.

Tasty breakfast with many options, good location, easy and free parking.
The big dog that wanders at the hotel reception can be bit scary but he was calm and obeyed the owner. There was a fridge in the room.

10 min walk from beach. Tasty breakfast. Small swimming pool available. Public parking available only however there a lot of free places to park.

This is a great little hotel at 10 minutes walk from the center of Matala. Nice rooms, great looking pool, delicious breakfast and lovely hosts. They also have plenty of parking spaces and a big fluffy bonus for dog lovers!

I had a lovely time in this beautiful hotel. The staff are very friendly and the property is very well kept. Enjoyed my daily breakfasts. The beach is only a five minute walk and there are lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Would certainly go back again.

Renovated hotel with a nice pool. We absolutely liked the room with a view on the pool. It's spacious and there is a nice terrace. A typically Greek bathroom, a bit small, but more than ok. Everything is really clean and we loved the breakfast. Friendly owner. The villlage is within a nice walking distance. We would recommend Paradise Hotel.
