Corfu Panorama by Estia Mini-hotel

After arriving in Athens, I booked a three-day vacation in Corfu. Before the epidemic, I booked flights on the official website of airlines and hotels on Booing. This time, I used Ctrip to book round-trip flights and hotels from Athens to Corfu for the first time. I didn't compare prices, but the booking process was very convenient and fast.

Because I wanted to relax and vacation, I chose the Domemiz Resort Hotel, which is half an hour's drive from the old town of Corfu, for three nights. After renting a car and driving to the hotel, I found that this decision was very correct. There are no must-see attractions and no many tourists. It is really "facing the sea and spring flowers blooming."

The sea view room I stayed in is facing the swimming pool and the beach, and you can go in and out directly from the small balcony. I spent two days relaxing and sunbathing in the hotel, facing the Mediterranean Sea with jelly orchids. If you don't count the cost of domestic flights to Greece, I personally think that the cost-effectiveness is better than Sanya's five-star hotel.

The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. It was almost 10 o'clock in the evening on the first night I arrived, and the hotel restaurant had stopped operating. The door service staff helped move the luggage to the room and brought some burritos and snacks to the room. The guy at the front desk helped me book a rural hotel on the hillside not far from the hotel. I enjoyed the local Corfu cuisine, which was very delicious. The owner was warm and hospitable, and I spent a happy night. The next day, the guy recommended a mountaintop restaurant with a 360-degree view and very unique dishes.

Walk along the beach in the hotel, stare at the Mediterranean blue, bask in the sun, and play with the cats in the hotel. If I had enough time to stay for two more nights, it would be a relaxing and long holiday.

When checking out, the hotel gave me a special ceramic Greek Eye, which was a perfect end to the three-day trip to Corfu.

I had a good time here. The breakfast is ok, and the beach is pretty close (10 min walk). The room was ok but they will change your towels only after 3 or 4 days and after you have to pay to change again. Also the air conditioner is 7 euro per night (on booking they did non mention). The pool is amazing. I liked having breakfast and had the pool as the view. Per total it’s ok, you get what you pay. There are lot of restaurant near the place. Great view from the balcony.

We came here for the first time in Corfu, the accomodation was decent to nice, maybe some things to improve in the room and bathroom but for the price we pay was perfect. The breakfast was really delicious and nice. The pool was really nice as well. We want to thank every staff for good communication. The two hungarian women were very polite, helpful and we appreciate a lot. A nice place to stay in Corfu, we recommend!

Amazing hotel, both the beach side wing and the panorama wing. Spectacular lobby and very comfortable rooms. Anastasia, working at the Panorama Pool Bar, is lovely! I would not hesitate to stay here again if back in Corfu!

Traditional, charming, family run hotel. Lovely people couldn't do enough for us. Some reviews mention limited egg breakfasts, but that wasn't the case. We had a different breakfast spread every morning, with traditional Greek vegetable fritters with herbs from the garden, wraps, sandwiches, feta salads with olives and tomatoes, along with patisserie, and usual continental breakfast food. Chef was very watchful and would prepare food on request and brought out special plates just for us if we'd expressed a preference for something not there, terrific service. Great view and hill wasn't a problem for a 60 year old. Such a warm friendly welcoming place, thank you Kristos and Gabriella.

A friendly family run hotel with a personal touch. Up a slope to the hotel but great views out across the village and the sea. A quiet position with a nice swimming pool.

We fell in love with this ‘home from home’ the moment we walked up the drive the quirky building and the beautiful smelling flowers drew us right in.
The surroundings are beautiful and the location is perfect. A few minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants, and a 10 minute stroll to the beach.
There is a hill and some steps (less than we thought) that my less mobile auntie was concerned about, with a friendly arm she coped easily.

We were welcomed by Gabriella who really is the most wonderful host. The family run apartments just kept getting better by the day. Such a personal touch that by the end of our stay Gabriella and Xristos felt like friends and wee Laberini a daughter.

We traveled as group of 8, family and friends from mixed ages. We all absolutely loved our time here. Booking early in the season, it was quiet, just our group, a few other couples and a few solo travellers. For us this was so relaxing, comfortable and inclusive, it was the best place for us all to catch up and recharge the batteries.

The rooms are basic and dated however they are clean and suited our needs. It’s everything else that makes this place. The staff, the pool, the comfy sofas, the bar, the breakfast.

In the room there was a fridge with freezer compartment, a two ring hob, a kettle and some crockery. The room had a small private balcony with tables and chairs. We were only 3 nights and our linen and towels were changed during our stay.

Plenty of sun beds for those of us that were sun worshipers and a few meters away were big comfy sofas under a canopy for those that favoured the shade. It was so lovely that everyone had what suited them yet we were all very much together. Throughout the day you’d spot one of our group stretched out having a snooze on one of the sofas.

The breakfast each morning was varied and delicious. The bar is well stocked (if they don’t have something you want, by the next day it’s there!) and has a selection of bar snacks . . . We were so comfortable that we more often than not just ordered bar snacks for lunch!

One evening Xristos even ordered us take out to be delivered as we were so comfortable and relaxed that we didn’t want to leave and get dressed!

All 8 of our group are already planning our return trip and a few of our friends have already booked following our recommendations.

Best shop - Coop the wee man in there would gift you some feta with olive oil, herbs and bread . . It was delicious. We returned to this shop daily to stock up and never left without our delicious wee gift.
Best bar - Elvis bar . . They have an Elvis tribute act twice a week.
Best bakery - The Pastry (just before Coop)
