The view from our "balcony" was idyllic and perfect for watching sunrise. The whole hotel was spotless and we were provided with free water every day (hasn't happened anywhere else that we have stayed). Nice hotel with breathtaking views. However, not recommended for people with heart conditions and/or invalides. Just to reach the breakfast room - where they serve an excellent buffet breakfast - one needs to navigate 130 steps. Another 30 steps will bring you to the hotels beautiful beach. A friendly welcome from the outset at this hotel. Though not in the busiest area of the island, the rooms are a good size with great views over the sea. The rooms have A/C and a fridge. Remarkably many Greeks who give 5 stars here (family?) which was certainly not worth it. Apartment and view are beautiful and that's about all. The distance to shops and restaurants is so great that you must have a car at your disposal for the entire holiday. Drinking something with dinner in the evening is therefore not possible if you still have to drive back over that mountain road in the dark....

We visited Aurora in Lefkada during August 2021, when the island was much crowded. Aurora is a brand new apartment complex in a very nice & quiet place but at the same time nearby the majority of the destinations. 5 stars for the location, the kindness and discretion of the owners, the room condition and the cleanliness. I highly recommended it as a value for money destination!

Good and relatively cheap place for family vacation

Clean room, but small and old. The biggest problem is that the hot water had no pressure at all and the bath was only possible with ice. I would recommend it only because of the low price and for a few days. Easily accessible and parking.
