Where to stay with pets in Pelekas

This resort could be really excellent but poor catering and lots of litter really let it down. Expect to spend a lot of money on taxis to get to a decent restaurant.

Very nice place. We stayed 2 nights. The apartment had a kitchen with kitchen utensils. There is also a grocery store on the resort. Beautiful beach. You could enjoy the sunset on the balcony.

The owners are very nice and friendly, the hotel is very quiet due to its location and is very close to well-known beaches (eg Glyfada) and fifteen minutes from Corfu town and the hotel is clean in key areas such as the bathroom and the beds , but only in the key areas

Quiet, clean, close to beaches and popular spots of the island (Town, Paleokastritsa, Achillio, Acqualand, Pontikonissi) helpful staff.

The floor was not swept and the room had a lot of dust eg on the TV. For its price and the time we visited, I am relatively satisfied

Madalena place is Great location to stay, enjoy sunset, eat dinner and sleep. Her hospitality was amazing she is such a lovely lady and the food she provided which for us was dinner and breakfast was superb

We had a full Seaview room (see attached photos) and the view was unreal. If anyone is looking to stay in the area near Pelekas I would recommend here

We had a wonderful 2 week stay. We had no car rental so the location and convenient and very affortable Corfu bus service was great. The villa had very spacious and well equipped studios

Incredible place to stay. They charge very reasonably considering there's a pool. Rooms are cleaned every three days. The owner is so friendly. She cooks amazing Greek food. I highly recommend staying there.

Quiet and isolated place. Spacious rooms and nice small swimming pool. If you stay here you must have a car to move around. The place itself is very quiet among olive trees. Close to the village of Pelekas.

Great place to chill and travel from to explore Corfu. The rooms are good, big, and clean. We had issue with the A/C, the technical was called, and it was fix all under less then a hour, amazing service

The pool was clean and beautifully situated with a mountain view. There were 3 beaches near by which required a little (uphill) walking combined with a short bus trip but that wasn't a great obstacle

I recently stayed at Domes of Corfu and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, very well kept, and has a calm, quiet atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway

Lots of communal kids toys by the pools while we were there so save the space packing more

They are cleaned on a daily basis and very economic - I paid e19 a night. Staff at reception are friendly and competent, but not always there in the afternoon or evening, so check in advance

We stayed for 10 nights middle of July 2022. Beautiful location, great food and very friendly people. Gregory was fabulous, very attentive and ran a very organised bar/pool area

My son and I had a wonderful holiday staying at Irene apartments. The studio was basic, but spotlessly clean with a lovely balcony area. The food in the resort was excellent Alexis, The Ark were our favourite places

Irene Apartments is literally a stone's throw from everything. Some reviews on this site have been critical, I am not. The rooms are comfortable, with a kitchenette if you want to cook for yourself

My only advice is to avoid the rooms at the front of the apartments. It is not so much the closeness to the road, which is rarely busy, but they get very little sun and can get cold even in summer

The location is ideal, with easy access to the beautiful spots in both the north and south

Hotel Elana is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The breakfast is great, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The staff are friendly and always smiling. The pool is nice, and it’s also very close to the sea

This hotel is a dream, just book it! I came as a solo female traveler looking for a relaxing trip, it was perfect. It’s very clean and beautiful. My room had the most gorgeous ocean view with unreal sunsets

Went with my family and my friends , we are all in uni and had a brilliant time , lots of fun activities for young people to do and we met so many lovely people

We stayed in the hotel on the yoga retreat which has a lovely friendly atmosphere and often went to the hostel where it was lively and fun. , we especially enjoyed the events such as the toga party

This meant you were never alone and I met some interesting people from all corners of the world, and all age groups. The lady Magda that runs the retreat was v kind to me when I needed medical attention

I enjoyed all the activities on offer, the kayaking, hiking, paddle boarding, day trip to Corfu, all included in the price! I also did the added in activities like quad biking and there were extra trips reasonably priced

And extremely friendly cats - one of them even waited for us on our balcony every morning and was very polite! ;) The only thing that bothered us a little was barking of the dog (although this dog was very cute and friendly!) but unfortunately, in the mornings he sometimes woke us up with his barking

Great place! The apartment was quite large and the view from the balcony was amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful and food was really good (delicious seafood and banana split dessert :) the place is well located and the whole town is really tourist friendly

There are lots of friendly cats if you like them

Overall we are very satisfied! I highly recommend this place! But it’s good to have a car if you’re here for longer than just a few days

Incidentally the dish we received by mistake (the mushroom appetizer) was not good and had far too much balsamic vinegar to make it appetizing. The crab and penne salmon was good and the staff was generally friendly

Excellent family run hotel just a few minutes from the beach. Small and personal with a super friendly owner Lia. Nothing is too much trouble.

The Alonakia hotel is perched on the slopes of Agios Gordios and has a splendid view of the lush Cyprus and olive tree covered hills to the rear and the azure blue Adriatic Sea in the front

It is a family-run hotel with an atmosphere of a personal touch of traditional Corfiot hospitality. All the rooms are fully equipped. The hotel and rooms are clean and looked after

The Delphi became our nightly restaurant during our stay in agios gordios for our summer holiday. The food is delicious and so well cooked and the service is amazing

Friendly service. Owner speaks English and German. (And Greek of course). Food was tasty. We had Gyros and fried calamari. And some nice dessert. Also good prices

We really liked it and we'll be back for dinner and the live music, because on Wednesday and Saturday there is live music there (international and Greek songs)

Such a wonderful hotel! If you are the fence- book it! We spent a LOT of time researching before we came, and this is the best priced hotel with great reviews, air conditioning, wifi, spacious and large and not tiny, short walk to the beach, fridge, and centrally located

Located centrally in Agios Gordios, it's maybe a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, down a street with numerous wonderful restaurants and shops

The guy and his wife (I think they are the family that owns the Angelica maybe?) are super nice and helpful! The pool looked beautiful, and there is a bar/restaurant right in there! The only thing that wasn't perfect was the wifi, which was a tad spotty, but easy to work around

I keep going back and forth on whether I should do 4 or 5 for room, because it was perfect otherwise, and wifi not being perfect isn't really a big deal. Great hotel, really nice people! An absolute steal for the price

It was an fantastic experience!! It is the most beautiful bilding inside en outside of the town. The apartment is very luxurious and clean

We were given fresh vegetables from their garden. It was lovely and Maria was so helpful with information and anything we wanted. Simple Greek accomodation highly recommend it about 10-15 minutes from the beach

The outside area was excellent. Added bonus of outdoor kitchen and eating area as well as pool, shower and toilets. I also liked the fact the sheets and towels were changed every other day

This is a brand new hotel and the rooms and hotel are excellent. Amazing views from the hotel room over the sea and Gouvia marina. In a very peaceful location handy to transport which suited us perfectly

The pool is beautiful and poolside bar has great drinks and lovely food. The room was very modern and contemporary. We also had a hot tub on our balcony. The view from the balcony over look Gouvia marina which was great

It was very quiet when we stayed. The lady in reception was very helpful. €15-20 euros for a taxi into Corfu town. Supermarket is down the road but it's a bit of a hard walk back up the hill when it's hot

Fabulous apartment, set in a gorgeous complex. Set in a local neighbourhood and surrounded by local houses. Has a great pool, which is so amazing

Utter heaven! I was greeted and treated throughout as a friend or member of the family. Consequently, I returned for a further nine days a month or so later

The Sirena beach is at the north end of the resort, tucked down a small side road towards the beach, meaning of course there is direct access to the beach from the side of the hotel

The staff were very welcoming and my room was a good size with the usual facilities (no kettle for early morning tea sadly). The balcony faced towards the sea but did not have an uninterrupted view

People making negative comments need to remember how much they are paying a night and that hospitality has just come through a couple of awful COVID years plus cost of living

Although the hotel is only 15 minutes from the ferry terminal, ($54CAD taxi) it is about 25 minutes from Old Town

Hotel is based in a really good location. Near is the Kontokali beach, supermarket and bus stop. Next to the hotel is a really good Tavern (Zorbas). Rooms are clean and have the AC, hairdryer and kettle

Our second stay at Isabella, and we were not disappointed- beautiful unique property set in lovely gardens and only 15mins stroll to lovely Gouvia We loved the pool and quiet gardens, and it was the perfect place for a family celebration Birthday- Konstantinos the manager was amazing and helped organise cake and bubbly he also sorted us an amazing deal on car hire!! Rooms are clean and comfortable...

Regarding the place, it is VERY clean (and I mean it, for us this is very important as we are fuzzy about it) and nice comfy big bed (a must too if you do not wish to wake up next morning feeling like a lorry has run over you)

Close to the port and therefore a good place for people who for example wants take the ferry

Sunset is a value hotel with an outside pool (excellent). The hotel itself is ok but I would class this as tired and dated, lots of dark furnishings throughout. Staff are friendly and helpfull

Great location for the port, lovely staff and breakfast but very tired old fashioned furniture, think 70s/80s. If you arrive at midnight and leave at 7. If you want to stay more than that I'd look elsewhere

Nice and clean hotel, staff are very friendly, rooms are small especially the bathroom, also shower curtain need to be sorted out as the water goes all over the floor when you shower so not really big enough for 3 people, clean towels every other day, sheets changed ever 3 days, but the room is cleaned daily apart from Sundays, you get a free safe , air con, kettle iron and ironing board in the room...

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to shops, bars and restaurants. It's a 2 minute walk from the beach and only about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, where you can easily bus a bus to Corfu town

There is also a lovely large restaurant available, looking onto the beach (across a quiet road), with an appetising menu (I had grilled anchovies as a starter then lamb souvlaki for main) which was good value (including the beer) and excellent service

I had left my wallet and passport in the safe in the room, and when I came back to the hotel a week later the staff were exceedingly helpful in immediately reuniting me with my precious items
