Paspalis Hotel

This hotel was a last minute booking and I'm so glad we did it. Gorgeous location, the rooms were clean and the service was lovely. Have to mention how delicious the food was at the taverna in the hotel. The beach was pebbles however - with beach shoes it was the most beautiful sea I've ever swam in. The beach was a 5 minute walk from our room. The warmth of the owner and staff at this hotel was excellent.
I shall defo be back!

We didn't stay here, but close by. We had three amazing lunches there where the staff were so warmly welcoming and the food spectacular.
I especially enjoyed the Kefalonian meat pie and the sardines were large, filleted and perfectly cooked with a superb fresh salad.
Superb starter selection and the orange cake was incredible.
Really reasonable prices and definitely have the local wine in a carafe - better than bottled and cheaper too.

As always, Eris, Yiannis and Christos were super welcoming and helpful. Great food, wine and coffee, lovely views of the beautiful beach and the sea. We love our visits to Paspalis.

Skala is our happy place. This is our 3rd visit to Paspalis hotel and it's perfect given it's prime location. Lovely friendly hotel. We've already booked again for next year

As a single lady in my 70s I take great care in picking a safe holiday/hotel destination.
The Paspalis rates top notch fir making you feel welcome and safe.
I had a ground floor room, with patio area although basic it met all my needs.
Big tick for fantastic water pressure on the shower and lots of hot water. Proper hairdryer, none of the daft on the wall press button type.
Service across all areas first class, they are the best and hopefully get plaudits from managers.
Beautiful location, no better way to enjoy breakfast than looking out to sea
The Taverna served excellent food and a good choice
Skala is a lovely town,well worth a visit with good restaurant's and some shops but a steep walk up from the main road
Beach side the walk way is flat
Only down side was the lack of public transport. You will need to hire a care or use taxis .
Captain Vendelas cruise company well worth using. Clean safe and reliable. I did 2 trips with them, both excellent and ypu receive a discount on the second one.
Kefalonia is a lovely island

Lovely little hotel, nice and clean with a lovely little pool and fantastic restaurant.
Rooms are pretty basic, but clean and functional. Dropped a star because you have to pay extra for AC and there is no sound insulation at all, so if your neighbour's are noisy, it's tough. You can literally hear a pin drop on the floor above.
That said, we will definitely return in the near future.

Fantastic family run hotel right on the sea front. Great staff, lovely food and a brilliant location.

Friendly, comfortable excellent food & service.
Room was smaller than expected but had everything we needed.
Easy walk to town & beach, fabulous views.

Stopped here for a meal in the Greek tavern attached to the hotel. Should have ate next door but electric was off on most of island. Found us a table straight away and served good food at good prices. Very busy but next door came to help out and we had a excellent evening.
