Best Hotels in Skala Kefalonias

Stunning views, friendly, helpful staff, really chilled out vibe. Great food, drinks, lovely pool. Get a hire car is best to see the island. Shuttle bus from hotel is free, to Skala

The place itself is beautifully clean, the friendly staff can’t do enough for you and there is an excellent communal pool in the centre of the complex

off the beaten track but that's no problem. there is no shop nearby so make sure you get what you need in town. This is a chill and relax hotel. The free bus to skala town is a great as the walk does look pretty far

There is a pebble cove about 15 mins walk away which is stunning. The pool area looks out to the sea as the hotel is perched on a cliff. Not tried the evening meal here yet

Breakfast was easily varied enough for a week’s stay and there were always loungers by the pool. Overall, this is a great place to stay and is ideally located for trips into Skala for food and drink

If I ever own a place like this in Lefkada, I will try to get them to manage mine as well 🥰. Please add a BBQ area and tvs in rooms as we had to wait until ppl woke up to use the one in the living room

A beautiful location so close to the sea, restaurants and village. Cannot disagree with other guests regarding the rooms being tired but they are kept immaculate by Kiki who works tirelessly

Two small hiccups were, they ran out of mythos one day ,and we had lunch which wasn’t as good as expected , all in all though , these are little teething problems which didn’t spoil our stay

2nd visit here, great swimming pool, probably the best in the area. Friendly small apartments in a good location with supermarket next door

Had a lovely holiday at the melidron hotel. we stayed there last year too. it is in a perfect position 3 mins from the beach. a beautiful infinity pool where you can watch the boats etc on lovely skala beach

We’ve stayed quite a few times now and this stay we were a bit apprehensive because it has new owners, we need ent have been, the staff are lovely ,especially Leah on reception who was absolutely fantastic

This hotel was a last minute booking and I'm so glad we did it. Gorgeous location, the rooms were clean and the service was lovely. Have to mention how delicious the food was at the taverna in the hotel

The beach was pebbles however - with beach shoes it was the most beautiful sea I've ever swam in. The beach was a 5 minute walk from our room. The warmth of the owner and staff at this hotel was excellent

Skala is our happy place. This is our 3rd visit to Paspalis hotel and it's perfect given it's prime location. Lovely friendly hotel. We've already booked again for next year

we’ve stayed in quite a few places on Kefalonia over the years from small apartments to some large villas and the Blue Jasmine is up there with the best of them

The location on the island is not bad: 4min to Skala (City and Beach) and 10min to Poros (by car), there also is a smaller beach you can reach by foot in 5-10min, which is good for snorkeling

Overall very nice stay at Blue Jasmine in September 2021. The staff is very friendly, there is a nice breakfast buffet and you can order warm breakfast (e. Omelette with bacon) every morning

The rooms were clean and well equipped, with a small kitchen, fridge & freezer and very well working AC. We had a big private balcony (picture)

The facility was clean and beautiful with an exceptionally pretty view, a nice big pool, pretty flowers and a friendly hotel-dog

Lovely small hotel with a great setting that overlooks the sea ,the staff are very helpful and nice to talk to, the rooms are well furnished and very comfortable ,the food is very good, all in all I can thoroughly recommend this place

The breakfast was always good, although some might like more variety. They also offer very good and fresh food at the hotel restaurant

After changing to a higher room we had a fantastic view and a very roomy apartment with a great balcony. The whole family is very nice and helpfull. Especially Alex is always there to inform you

The family owned Mounda Beach Hotel lies very close to the public Mounda Beach and next to Skala. We stayded here for ten days and enjoyed every one of them

The familys self-made red wine is really great! We would definitely recommend this place for everybody staying in Kefalonia

The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is great, so much variety and always fresh. The pool is a good size, plenty of shallow areas for the children to swim and play safetly but also deep areas for diving & jumping

Great hotel, staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels. Towels available for around the pool. Amazing private beach cove directly across the road

First proper beach will be by nautilus (so a 10 min walk) but best beach in my opinion around the area is Spithi. We went end of September, beginning of October so it was pretty quiet all around, which was great

Rooms provided everything needed with a bonus of comfortable beds. Pool and area never felt overcrowded and always plenty of sunbeds. Evelyn just amazing, on top of everything and nothing a problem

Beautiful accommodation in an isolated location. Must have a car but not essential. A friendly family run business where you feel welcomed and they can not do enough for you

We stayed at Efrosinj for a lovely 5 days. We stayed in one of the maisonettes , it had great facilities including a coffee maker and sandwich maker

The village is set in beautiful landscapes gardens and orchards of orange’s and pomegranates. We opted for the bed and breakfast option and the breakfasts were a good choice and were delicious

Everything is clean and tidy and you just never want to leave. Could quite easily spend my whole summer here. Seriously looking to book direct with them for my next getaway to this location

The Magnolia Resort is the most fabulous place for rest and relaxation. The family-run hotel is incredibly friendly, and the staff goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable—they make it effortless

The swimming pool was clean and plenty big enough, it never felt busy or over crowded. In the evenings the poolside bar doubled as an alfresco cocktail lounge!!! SUPERB ATMOSPHERE

If you ask for burning coffee they will give you it, I would recommend asking for it when you eat the main meal as it will burn out in the starter. There are beautiful views of the mountains while eating meals

Superior rooms are well appointed with a great bathroom. Staff at the pool area were helpful. Very steep drive to negotiate on arrival and departure. No signage when you arrive at midnight as where to go

Friendly staff ... very clean ... beds were comfy ... pool area very nice ... 20 yard walk to the beach ... breakfast range was good ... choice of bar snack and evening meals was excellent.

Just had 11 nights in this great hotel. Perfect location with excellent staff. We had a seaview room which I would recommend. Lovely pool area with a great bar for drinks and food. We will definitely return .
