Best Hotels in Skala Kefalonias

The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is great, so much variety and always fresh. The pool is a good size, plenty of shallow areas for the children to swim and play safetly but also deep areas for diving & jumping

Great hotel, staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels. Towels available for around the pool. Amazing private beach cove directly across the road

First proper beach will be by nautilus (so a 10 min walk) but best beach in my opinion around the area is Spithi. We went end of September, beginning of October so it was pretty quiet all around, which was great

Rooms provided everything needed with a bonus of comfortable beds. Pool and area never felt overcrowded and always plenty of sunbeds. Evelyn just amazing, on top of everything and nothing a problem

Stunning views, friendly, helpful staff, really chilled out vibe. Great food, drinks, lovely pool. Get a hire car is best to see the island. Shuttle bus from hotel is free, to Skala

The place itself is beautifully clean, the friendly staff can’t do enough for you and there is an excellent communal pool in the centre of the complex

off the beaten track but that's no problem. there is no shop nearby so make sure you get what you need in town. This is a chill and relax hotel. The free bus to skala town is a great as the walk does look pretty far

There is a pebble cove about 15 mins walk away which is stunning. The pool area looks out to the sea as the hotel is perched on a cliff. Not tried the evening meal here yet

Breakfast was easily varied enough for a week’s stay and there were always loungers by the pool. Overall, this is a great place to stay and is ideally located for trips into Skala for food and drink

Stayed at the Melidron again for a week in September. Most folk are 'returners' as there can't be many (if any) small family run hotels this good in all of Kef. All the staff are great and they look after us all so well

Two small hiccups were, they ran out of mythos one day ,and we had lunch which wasn’t as good as expected , all in all though , these are little teething problems which didn’t spoil our stay

Had a lovely holiday at the melidron hotel. we stayed there last year too. it is in a perfect position 3 mins from the beach. a beautiful infinity pool where you can watch the boats etc on lovely skala beach

rooms are large and plenty of storage. it’s under new management now but the staff are lovely and very friendly

Rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday by the two wonderful cleaning ladies

For example, when we visited last year, bread was delivered every morning by the local baker. It was lovely and we went to breakfast every morning looking forward to eating the very fresh bread

Myself and my girlfriend stayed for four nights. From the beginning the welcome was by far the best we’ve experienced. Ria the manager makes you feel welcome from the moment you step foot in the hotel

The family owned Mounda Beach Hotel lies very close to the public Mounda Beach and next to Skala. We stayded here for ten days and enjoyed every one of them

The familys self-made red wine is really great! We would definitely recommend this place for everybody staying in Kefalonia

The staff are very amenable and caring. Nothing was too much of a problem. Downwards walk to the beach, but a hike upwards on the way back. Good food. Pool immaculate

Stayed at Zephyros for about 10 days in the middle of July, and it was a really nice time! The room was one bedroom and bathroom, with a balcony outside, and had an AC that cooled the room fairly quickly

There was complimentary breakfast as well, and two pools of different sizes. The adjacent city of Skala was about 20-30 minutes away walking, though there isn't a lot of space to walk so I'd recommend taking a car down

Pool large enough to have a decent swim. Farm animals to keep you entertained and the staff very accomodating. Walk into town not far but don't walk back in the middle of the day in 40°c heat🥵😆

The staff are first class ,always willing to help in any way they can , the food is basic but very well presented and very tasty its also excellent value for money

We stayed at Efrosinj for a lovely 5 days. We stayed in one of the maisonettes , it had great facilities including a coffee maker and sandwich maker

The village is set in beautiful landscapes gardens and orchards of orange’s and pomegranates. We opted for the bed and breakfast option and the breakfasts were a good choice and were delicious

Everything is clean and tidy and you just never want to leave. Could quite easily spend my whole summer here. Seriously looking to book direct with them for my next getaway to this location

The upgraded room was spacious and very clean. Good powerful shower and a very comfortable bed. The pool area was beautifully clean and had plenty of sunbeds for the guests

Only 10 minute walk to plenty of local tavernas. Presented with a gift on check out which was very thoughtful and was excellent quality

The staff were amazing and all very supportive of myself and my partner after a broken ankle occurred. They did everything possible to ensure the rest of the stay was comfortable and we were very well looked after
