Best Hotels in Skala Kefalonias

If I ever own a place like this in Lefkada, I will try to get them to manage mine as well 🥰. Please add a BBQ area and tvs in rooms as we had to wait until ppl woke up to use the one in the living room

The bedrooms are huge with a small kitchen area and table provided, poolside bar serves food and stays open late but it wasn't noisy or crowded at all, and the pool and lido area were perfect for lazy morning frappes

Beautiful place The staff are lovely, they look after you well. The rooms are comfortable (just wish the air-conditioning kicked in a bit faster). However, clean tidy inside and out.

My family of 6 loved Loved LOVED this house. The views, accommodations, and local were outstanding! Definitely a 5 star 🌟. The property managers are the best one could hope for

This hotel is top notch!..rooms are fabulous.. service is excellent..we love it.. don't bother trying to book through TUI etc..they are doing their own thing!..and very well they are doing it!

The pool is also very good and keeps cool all day which is very refreshing. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels in your room also towels for the pool also free of charge

Nearby you have nautilus restaurant (10 min walk), very good, supermarket 20 min walk (expensive and recommend walking a bit more and going to the next supermarket a bit further away

First proper beach will be by nautilus (so a 10 min walk) but best beach in my opinion around the area is Spithi. We went end of September, beginning of October so it was pretty quiet all around, which was great

Hotel has a very decent shuttle to the village, which has a timetable and needs to be booked , but short notice can be given. Staff was really helpful, specially Evelyn and Marianna

Pool has showers if you want to enjoy your last day after check out, my only con would be the music choice for the pool which I don’t think it was appropriate and not very relaxing

If you don’t have a car, it’s a 30 minutes walk to village of skala where you have all bars and restaurants. Long straight road, always with a pavement and sea view

Stunning views, friendly, helpful staff, really chilled out vibe. Great food, drinks, lovely pool. Get a hire car is best to see the island. Shuttle bus from hotel is free, to Skala

The place itself is beautifully clean, the friendly staff can’t do enough for you and there is an excellent communal pool in the centre of the complex

off the beaten track but that's no problem. there is no shop nearby so make sure you get what you need in town. This is a chill and relax hotel. The free bus to skala town is a great as the walk does look pretty far

There is a pebble cove about 15 mins walk away which is stunning. The pool area looks out to the sea as the hotel is perched on a cliff. Not tried the evening meal here yet

The family owned Mounda Beach Hotel lies very close to the public Mounda Beach and next to Skala. We stayded here for ten days and enjoyed every one of them

The familys self-made red wine is really great! We would definitely recommend this place for everybody staying in Kefalonia

The staff are very amenable and caring. Nothing was too much of a problem. Downwards walk to the beach, but a hike upwards on the way back. Good food. Pool immaculate

There was complimentary breakfast as well, and two pools of different sizes. The adjacent city of Skala was about 20-30 minutes away walking, though there isn't a lot of space to walk so I'd recommend taking a car down

Stayed at Zephyros for about 10 days in the middle of July, and it was a really nice time! The room was one bedroom and bathroom, with a balcony outside, and had an AC that cooled the room fairly quickly

Pool large enough to have a decent swim. Farm animals to keep you entertained and the staff very accomodating. Walk into town not far but don't walk back in the middle of the day in 40°c heat🥵😆

We stayed at Efrosinj for a lovely 5 days. We stayed in one of the maisonettes , it had great facilities including a coffee maker and sandwich maker

The village is set in beautiful landscapes gardens and orchards of orange’s and pomegranates. We opted for the bed and breakfast option and the breakfasts were a good choice and were delicious

Everything is clean and tidy and you just never want to leave. Could quite easily spend my whole summer here. Seriously looking to book direct with them for my next getaway to this location

Excellent hotel La Signora is in a perfect location in southern Kefalonia, half way up the hill in Lourdata leading down to the beach. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and kind

We were surprised by the small things they did to make us feel welcome (greeted us with lemonade, took our bags, ice frozen glasses in the fridge, etc). They had great breakfast options and a nice terrace

La Signora is also conveniently located close by to a couple of nice watering holes in Lourdata: Cafe Plantanos (a short walk up the hill) and Waikiki Beach Bar (at the bottom of the hill)

You get more than you pay for here, clean, friendly and helpful. Breakfast caters for most tastes but is limited, Omelette, Sausages, Cereal, Fruit and fresh bread and toast

Sunbeds always taken early in the morning so unless you are an early riser you've no chance. Breakfast gets a bit boring but there are plenty of bakeries and restaurants to eat out

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. However, maids never cleaned the tops in our room and bathroom despite me leaving them empty

Pool area is very good there are the usual Towel barmy army but you don't need to reserve beds there are plenty. Only moan would be the Toilet, shower which is very small

Clean and tidy along with very friendly staff. Most days we managed to get sunbeds around the pool only by occupying from around 9am. Didn't want to leave towels on beds as we don't agree with that

We loved the room and the balcony. We found the double bed very comfortable. The hosts were really nice. The walk into Sami took 15 minutes and we really enjoyed it with the sound of the waves.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff is really nice and the location is good. 15 min walk by the beach to Sami. We booked the hotel because of the gym, but that was closed due to COVID

Great basic hotel varied continental breakfast fantastic host in Makis it's in a spectacular position with the beach a couple of yards away! Free air con and in the evening great atmosphere in the bar! Free use of the 5 star Ionian emeralds pool across the road have booked for next year!

The Ionian Sea view from my balcony was breath taking and I started feeling the magic of Kefalonia! Sami is a short walk along the sea and there are many restaurants and cafes/bars that are delicious! Stayed here for a 4 night break in Kefalonia with our two boys aged 11 and 13. Service was fantastic and hotel was lovely. Staff were lovely and the hotel facilities and room very good

Tasty pancakes, good fresh watermelon and melon, fried eggs, yogurt, cheese- a lot of choice. Water park is cool and there are so many different pools. Sea beach is good and super close

Downsides: coffee at breakfast is instant and orange juice is chemical; bathroom is terrible, too small, not practical at all, water coming from water drain. Yes, it's budget hotel, don't expect too much

The room was huge, two bedrooms and one toilet, 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Clean rooms but there was no body-wash or hair shampoo so we had to buy from the kiosk which is 1 minute walk from the hotel

Location - just a short walk down to the crossroads where you can find really good restaurants (Relax & Fidelio) and a stop of at the Iris bar for a nightcap on your way back. Just 10 minutes from the beach

My son loved the pools and the ham toasties! Staff were friendly, it was a short walk down to the beach and the tv had internet so we could watch something whilst taking a break out of the hot sun! From our room we had a view of the sun rising each morning which was lovely to sit and watch ☀️

We were upgraded to Family Room ( it was spacious), cleaned every day, safe available free of charge. The lady from the reception extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the same each day but didn’t bother us

Great place to stay, great views, the location is peaceful and not too far from tsilivi taxis are cheap 11 euros each way, food is quality and tasty, staff always happy to help, front of house always willing to help especially Kostas no problem is too big for him, will tell you the best places to go and see, eat, best photo opportunities, they offer car, ATVs push bikes for hire and a local bus runs...

Getting a taxi back is easy too as most drivers speak some English or you can show them the location you want on your phone! Although there was no evening entertainment music is played quietly in the back ground so a relaxing evening playing cards or chatting can be had at the bar which had a good selection of drinks available

Excellent service, staff go above and beyond, peaceful rarely any kids, well suited to adults looking for a quiet relaxing vacation! Paradise!

Loved this hotel! Had our own swimming pool! Breakfast was great and staff were helpful too. Beach is 5 minutes walk and there is a separate swimming pool for everyone to use with a cafe and bar next to the pool. 👌

There are some issues with certain rooms having broken showers and making weird noises throughout the night which do keep you up, unfortunately we didn’t complain about this so mainly our fault! Otherwise I highly recommend this place as the staff at the pool side bar were amazing and soo friendly and genuinely lovely!

Great place and a great atmosphere! Having a room with your own pool and access to a shared pool as well as having a beach close by was amazing. The beach is more a pebble/ stone beach so it’s not sandy

Rooms are spacious and there are always sunbeds free around the main pool, you can also use the beach at their sister hotel opposite

Jet2 organised two excellent days out but you need to rent a car if you want to see more of the island. A day trip to Lixouri by ferry is advised. There is a good choice of restaurants in both Lassi and Argostili

Whilst the hotel pool and small beach are fine there is a decent beach for 10 euros for umbrella and two loungers just below the hotel. The reception staff and porters are excellent. Will be there again next year

We just returned from a 5 night stay at the White Rocks. It’s in the main building which is very convenient. It has a beach view with a balcony and the best water pressure & rain shower head

They constantly ran out of hot water for Tea (you have to fill your own tea pot at the buffet) We much preferred the public beach next door as the WR private beach is very narrow and has loads of slippery rocks in the water

A taxi into Argostoli is only 8 euro. The front desk will call a cab for you. Food & drink prices were reasonable. Close to Airport and a winery. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues

The food, which is cooked by the owner's wife, is the best I ate in Zakynthos! You can really feel the love and care in the way the food is cooking, and I especially appreciated the traditional menus

You can hire a car in the resort for a good price if you want to go and explore the whole island (I compared the prices online and they are one of the cheapest) 3/ Good entertainment through out the day and on the evening

Best key things about this hotel: 1/ Food, great variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 2/ Location, if you are after a quiet relaxing holiday this is the place to be

(Not bad I suppose but considering you do this multiple times a day, I’d have looked to see if I could have been in the main building) 2/ Provide a new bottle of water in the rooms daily, the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in which doesn’t do this, and this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel

The hotel is lovely, staff are great, food is OK, if you have a special diet you are to let the chef know. Which I did, but nothing changed. There's tvs in the rooms but no English channels
