Iakinthos, Tsilivi Beach Mini-hotel

Just returned from a lovely relaxing week, staying in a beautiful area of Zante. We booked this hotel directly on Iakinthos' website, meaning we got free transfers to and from the airport. Our driver was waiting for us as soon as we exited the airport and was only a 20 minute drive to the hotel. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, always greeting you with a smile and making sure everything was OK. Our room was on the 2nd floor, 145 which had a partial view of the sea. We made use of the free bicycle hire on a couple of occasions and twice biked 10 mile around the area [ don't tell the hotel though as it says keep within 0. 75km of the hotel🤔😅 ] We also hired a quad bike for 4 days to tour the full island which took us to some fantastic beaches and areas you would normally not be able to visit. Breakfast at the hotel was plentiful and tasty and with the added bonus of sitting right by the beach plus we booked the BBQ night on Sunday and the food was top quality and very good value for money. Thank you for making our stay as enjoyable as possible and we would not hesitate to book this hotel again if we decided to return to Zante.

One of the loveliest Hotels I have stayed in, a magnificent location right on Tsilivi Beach and not far from the main area of bars and restaurants. The real difference though being the excellent staff who literally could not do enough for you with one example being Athina on the reception who organised some flowers for my wife for our wedding anniversary. Others to mention are Violeta and Nasif however everyone of them are a credit to the Hotel. Clearly the hotel goes the extra mile with things like mosquito closing slides on balcony doors and bringing fresh melon out to all guests every day whilst the Hotel is B&B . Rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day and the air conditioning was much needed with very high temperatures. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of food and premium coffees available. Lunch choice was very good and the quality was excellent. As we booked directly with the Hotel we received a free return transfer from the airport which was very convenient. I will definitely go back to this Hotel as my first choice in Tsilivi. Thanks for making it such a wonderful stay.

First time staying at this hotel. The location is awesome right in the beach. Breakfast was really good and ate looking over the sea. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff are all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is such a little gem. Right in the beachfront, it is small, friendly and the staff are so helpful! We had a side sea view overlooking the beach club but as we went in October it had closed for the season so not sure how busy/noisy it would be in the height of the season. The room was a good size with both a kettle and coffee machine. Plenty of wardrobe space, perhaps the dressing table could have done with a few extra drawers, but for us no big issue. I agree with previous comments about the bathroom needing an update, our bathroom was a bit snug, but it did the job. Good choice for breakfast, we have been to other places where breakfast was a vast array, but again it was adequate. Lunch/snack menu, the portions are HUGE. After the first day we shared a dish! The hotel is right in the beachfront with a few loungers but at the time of year we went the pool area was sufficient. It’s a 5 minute walk to the main shops/bars/restaurants with plenty to choose from. We only ventured out a couple of times as the hotel provided what we were after - a relaxing chilled break. The hotel is very clean, and all staff were simply amazing. This really is a gem of a hotel, and if you are a couple just wanting a relaxing break I can highly recommend the Iakinthos Hotel

We stayed here the last week in September and simply couldn't fault it. It is a small 'boutique' type of hotel literally right on the seafront (you couldn't get any closer to the sea if you tried) Stayed in the luxery suite with a massive rooftop terrace and our own hot tub which we used every day on a B & B basis. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotels driver collected us and delivered us back to the airport which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed the BBQ Greek night and Greek music arranged by the hotel. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet type for toast, pastries, fruits and yoghurt affair and then we chose a hot breakfast from the menu .....the omelettes were to die for. The chef here is amazing.....all delivered to the taverna style seating area right by the sea.....simply bliss with your freshly squeezed orange and morning coffee. We had the most amazing week here. Seafront location, happy staff, dressing gowns & slippers supplied, beautiful food, a view to die for. Very happy customers that can't wait to return again some day. Family holiday 2 adults 2 kids aged 17 & 14 and stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. Cant think of anything bad to say but lots of great things. We booked directly and were contacted a few days before arrival to organise a transfer from the airport. Car was there and lots of room- great start. The room was ready (it was about 5pm) and was clean and tidy. We stayed in a family room with a ground floor and mezzanine level and best of all 2 bathrooms. The rooms were cleaned daily with towel changes and there was also a gown and slippers for all of us to enjoy. Fresh bottled water was left every day by the cleaning team. We had breakfast daily there was a lot of choice and if you don’t want cooked there was lots of fruit yogurt pastries toast fresh juice water and lots of cooked choices - you are spoiled for choice and the quality was great - very tasty. We never had dinner in the hotel but saw the bbq being set up and it looked lovely. All of the staff were very nice and the place just seemed very relaxed at all times. There was no race for a sunbed in the morning and drinks and ice creams around the pool were a daily occurrence for us. The sea is amazing and only a few steps away. It’s warm with a few waves mainly in the afternoon and the hotel have paddle boards you can use free of charge. We had lunch here a few times and the setting right on the beach with the breeze is just lovely and the food was always beautiful and plenty! Looking online I thought there would be sunbeds on the beach but the tide was so far in they couldn’t have put any there - not sure if this is a one off or time of year or just the coastline has changed - there was sunbeds on the beach nearby but you had to pay for them so we stayed by the pool and walked down the steps when we wanted to swim. The pool is also lovely and was usually quiet . The hotel provided shower gel/shampoo and small soaps. We also had a kettle and fridge (small freezer compartment) and both bathrooms had hairdryers. We were sad to leave but the transfer back was also just as smooth. The area itself is a lot bigger than we thought it would be as the resort seems to just keep going and there are loads of restaurants to choose from which is why we didn’t eat in the hotel. I loved my time here and we will definitely come back

We just came back with our family from Iakinthos. I want to give 10/10 to the Hotel, but I can’t and am giving 8/10 and will tell exactly way.
Our stay was great, we liked it very much and the most of the pleasure came from the location and breakfast.
We had dinner included, but the dinner was average and was a choice from 3 mains and few more things for children.
The portions are huge, but the quality is 4/10.
Another huge minus is that there was no seafood at all. For 2 weeks we had 2 times only fish fillets. Nothings else in the dinner which was included. Only Sunday was BBQ night, and this was the only dinner which was comparable with breakfast. I don’t know why there is no buffet every night. When we made the reservation with “Booking” it wasn’t clear that we will have this kind of supper. The staff is very friendly and highly motivated which is very impressive!
Overall very good vacation, and the only huge minus was the dinner.
Some other small things here and there, but if we didn’t pay for the dinner when we booked and were having supper in different places, I would definitely give 10/10
