Nama Boutique Hotel in Tinos Town

The owner of this property was extremely friendly, very knowledgable of the area and the room was very clean and the staff that worked there were wonderful!
If you’re looking for a true traditional Greek experience, this is the place to stay.

Charming wonderful owner (Antonis), staff and resident cat, Gina.  Antonis and the cook Nicoletta know the island well and have perfect advice on restaurants and beaches. (You don’t get the feeling like they are getting paid for referrals like some other hotels) Huge apartments set right outside town in a quiet residential neighborhood. 5 min walk to the bus station and main port, 10-15 minutes to town. Slight uphill for a few minutes.  This is an old-school, family-run multi apartment building. Not a modern or updated hotel, but more of a welcoming home with antiques and a family feel.  The pool area is really nice, kept spotlessly clean, and protected from any wind.  Breakfast is delicious, fresh and plentiful.

I have to say that I’m rarely taken by surprise by a hotel as do a lot of research and read reviews. But I was little a bit surprised by Tinos Resort. Firstly, as of course I knew beforehand, it’s obviously not a resort hotel. It’s probably as far from a resort hotel as you could imagine, to the point where I’d actually argue it’s almost not really a hotel. It’s more a collection of apartments in a slightly bare block on the outskirts of town. You can squeeze past a bike in the hall to get down to a little pool, you can climb the dark building stairs to your apartment (which just feels like a residential block) and you are always left with the feeling that you’re almost in an Airbnb. The owner was lovely and helpful, and he arranged a nice breakfast for us downstairs and gave us very good tips for the island. The little pool is cute and a nice temperature. The apartment we had was generally quite nice. Super comfy beds and high ceilings with a few pieces of attractive furniture. Very, very basic bathroom with a shower rail that kept coming off. Aircon controls didn’t really work properly, at least in the kids’ room. Location is pretty decent - 15 minute walk from the stunning Tinos Town. All in all we were, perhaps, slightly disappointed given our high hopes of this hotel, but if you are happy with a less hotel-typical experience (and don’t mind a slightly iffy shower) you’ll be absolutely fine.

Such a beautiful small hotel. Wifi worked great, so did the aircondition in both rooms. We were at ground floor and had a nice terrace. City center is around 7-8 minutes walk away down hill. We had a very nice breakfast at the cost of 10 eur per person. Owner is very accommodating and gave us lots of information about the island.

In Tinos, the town by the port was my favorite, always bustling with lively shops and taverns, and where one could visit the gorgeous churches - this was all within walking distance to our hotel and so we very much enjoyed staying at the Tinos Resort Hotel. When we arrived, I was so pleased to see that it was adjacent to the little church of Agios Charalambos. It felt like a second home, full of beautiful furniture pieces and decorative as well as religious art from the resort’s founding family which we as guests appreciated to see in our surroundings. Meeting the owner and most hospitable host Andonis was like being greeted by an old friend who we knew we would miss once leaving Tinos. He and his staff made sure that we were comfortable and that we were having a nice time. Andonis encouraged us to thoroughly explore the town and also see some villages, something we might not have thought to do on our own but so glad we did. We were in a friendly atmosphere - we even made friends with the sweet dove on the balcony who was apparently a longtime resident. The balconies gave us a postcard-like view of the port and the sea, which we found to be breath-taking at all hours of the day. The pool was clean, quiet, and delightful. The breakfast spread was plentiful and delicious. Tinos Resort Hotel is a peaceful, immaculate and welcoming place where we appreciated the warm welcome, as well as the carefully selected and artistic decor - I couldn’t stop gazing at the lovely Murano lighting while relaxing in the living space. We could’ve easily stayed for a month, if it were possible, and get to enjoy the island and our spacious apartment a bit more. We know where we will book next time around! We highly recommend staying at this wonderful establishment which made our stay on this beautiful island all the more enjoyable.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tinos Resort Hotel. We would have loved to extend our stay if not for our other plans! Everyone was welcoming and hospitality. Making us feel like part of the family. The decor is lovely and very unique. Some very beautiful art and furniture pieces. You can see and feel the care and warmth that has gone into creating an inviting environment. Highly recommend and plan to be back!

Tinos Resort Hotel was wonderful. Mr. Antonis was a perfect host. He guided us to the best villages and places to eat. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was rich and plentiful. Congratulations to Mr. Antonis for his great hospitality!

We spent 2 nights at the Tinos Resort Hotel and they were some of the best nights we’ve ever spent on holiday. Though we travelled to Tinos at the wrong time of year (the winter), our lovely host Antonis made sure our stay was warm and very much comfortable while also recommending amazing cafes and restaurants in town. The breakfast buffet was all fresh and homemade, catering to all our breakfast desires which included the freshest orange juice we’ve ever had! The interior of the resort was beautifully decorated making the place feel as if you’re home, everything on arrival was clean and tidy, and the pillows and mattresses were also incredibly comfortable, giving us a wonderful nights sleep after our tiring day trips. We want to thank Antonis for being so genuine and kind to us during our stay, he was truly an amazing host and made our stay so much more enjoyable! If we ever get the chance to travel to Tinos again, the Tinos Resort Hotel will be our first thought.

The property is located close to the port and the center of town. The hotel is beautiful with a peaceful atmosphere! The host is very special. He is welcoming and full of helpful suggestions for great restaurants and things to do! Loved our stay❤️
