Vassiliki Bay Hotel

The proprietor was friendly and welcoming. The room at this small independent hotel was well sized and had a nice balcony. The bathroom was typically ‘old’ Greek so expect bins for paper and toilets you dare not put anything down. The shower over the bath also typically Greek. The pool is pleasant though not quite as good as in the photos, but generally clean and useable. You can’t get drinks by the pool, though. Breakfast, not much to say other than the fresh fruit shown in the pictures wasn’t spotted, ever and it was the same daily. As a stop for a day or two it would be ok, any longer perhaps not. We’ve certainly had better for the money overall even on the island in boutique hotels, we found vasiliki extra ordinarily expensive for the quality and variety. Very much not wishing to be rude, but a bit of an update, improving the breakfast offerings would be a more pleasant stay.
