I went twice to this hotel, both of the times I had good memories. The place it is not new, it is mostly for those people who wants to remember mostly how was during comunist period. There is place to park the car. Breakfast it is not the very best and if you eat lunch in there I do remember waiters asking for tips. The view it is nice, you can see the sunset by the Balaton lake and the other side...

The evaluation of this type of accommodation, which was built as a corporate resort in the socialist era and is currently operating as a retro hotel, should be treated with caution, I think it is important to take realistic expectations and actual services and quality into account, otherwise our written opinion will be subjective and thus lead to misunderstandings. Great little place for the price! Furniture left over from old times, the buildings have not been modernized or renovated either, but they are nice and clean, the staff is attentive, kind, and polite. Breakfast was included in the price, there was a hearty, varied buffet every morning, we were very satisfied. Retro accommodation at a relatively reasonable price with breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, but the coffee is already paid for, the staff is nice. Unfortunately, neither the room nor the corridor is clean, there are a lot of spiders, porcupines, they give you 1 small towel each. You can rent a SUP and the beach is close.

Overall we liked the apartment, it was comfortable, spacious and well located, with a friendly and responsive staff.

We arrived with 34 young footballers. The goal was a little debriefing at the end of the championship... Breakfast is excellent and amazing. Full hungarian style, not a lot of options, but what is out is amazing. But that is all the good things to say about the place.. It said it has a swimming pool, nope. Very hot rooms, but has air conditioning,but the batteries where dead and they where not changed for ages. There where a LOT of spiders in the room (even falling on us...) the bed was creaking all night...

It was quite okay. The room was clean, but not all the rooms have air conditioners. We have, so it was quite nice at summer. The food was good, but we missed the juices at breakfast. They have menu for lunch, those lunches were delicious for that price.

Excellent lakeside place for a super relaxing vacation. Great facilities, nice and helpful staff. Dog friendly, which is a great advantage for us. The best dog beach in the country is just a few minutes away.

Perfect place for rest, you get what you paid for. Staff are friendly and helpful, even you can create a disco for the night. Great environment, places to take your seat and talk. Balaton is nearby even by walk.

I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter...expectable). Rooms are good. Good place for weekend relaxation.

It's a nice place, but nothing special. The prices are okay, it's cheap. So don't expect fancy things. The food relatively okay, the rooms are more or less clean. The shower, that's bad. The water smells for a minute, I don't know why. It has a Spa area, with sauna, aroma cabin, not tubs.

The rooms are definitely not soundproofed as it’s written . Heard some noise from the ceiling room. Wellness is quite good, but very small. Rooms are bit outdated. Need to get refurbished. Long weekend Hotel is nicely located in Badacsony. Close to the lake and ship station. Many restaurants and coffee shops are close.

We loved our two night stay at Bonvino. The hotel is very conveniently located a short distance from the train and bus stations and near plenty of wineries. The spa was clean and relaxing. The food spreads for breakfast and dinner were excellent and beautifully presented. I would return.

The hotel is ok, but compared to other hotels at the Balaton, it’s got room for improvement. The room wasn’t really clean with hairs in the shower and next to the sink. No drinks in the mini bar and snacks wasn’t exactly inviting. The breakfast was really nice, but the evening meal was not appetising at all due to all the meats being very dry. All in all, the hotel is fine for the price.

Central Hotel Cosy clean room. We had room facing sreet, We was there in May so not busy. Central, near start of vinyards. Good breakfast selection & dinner was good too .! Not a big selection but what they did have was tasty, we enjoyed it more than other hotels we have stayed at.

It is super lovely place, the staff are the kindest, food is great and I love the traditional use of old porcelain and silver cutlery. It gives such a great spirit! Breakfast and dinner was amazing, rooms are clean and quite. Love that they had so many gluten-free and lactose free options!

If you want to be with your thoughts, to relax, recharge, enjoy high quality food, having delicious drinks with hospitality rarely seen then this is your place. They have even a 16+ zone with bio lake, huge grass fields letting to feel like you are alone. Breakfast is in another dimension.

Excellent location with a wonderful view over lake Balaton. We stayed here off-season and our group was the only guests which made it a very special experience. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was amazing and they sell great wine. I can only recommend!

This place is beautiful. The view is amazing as it overlooks lake Balaton. You can go on hikes up the mountain or down to the Harbor. The breakfast buffet is decent!

I only stayed one night at Villa Patzay, however I enjoyed it very much. The rooms are really nice and the staff is helpful. Even though I had to leave early, the staff helped me prepare some breakfast to take with me.

Nice, friendly staff. The room is clean and nicely furnished. It is next to the railway, yet a quiet calm environment. If you have to write something negative, maybe the fact that the shower head holder is fixed cannot be adjusted. This is inconvenient for people of non-average height.

One of the best places to stay at Balaton. The staff is excellent and the owner is very freindly. The rooms are highly clean and are niceley renovated. The rooms are also equiped with air conditioning. And it also has wifi.

The lady who received was very kind, the room / bathroom clean and tidy. Unfortunately, TV didn’t catch a single transmitter, ants were at war everywhere 😁. WiFi is slow and intermittent.

Dear owner and staff welcome all guests. The rooms are nicely renovated, suitable for a peaceful rest, with air conditioning. Opposite the room, the restroom shower cabin was in clean and beautiful condition. The accommodation is not far from the beach, restaurant, shop, gift shops, train station.

It is a good hotel with quiet and air-conditioned rooms. The air-conditioning is a bit weird, though, as it is located in the bathroom. The food is very good and you can take as much as you want. The welness is very good also. The parking is too small for the amount of rooms they have. I don't understand their pricing policy, they told me they will send me discounts for the next year and it turned...

Most probably the best 3-star hotel I have ever seen. It beats most 4 star hotel’s mid-range rooms.. The food is amazing, price of food/accomodation is on the higher side but feels justified. We were here only one night but received only positive emotions. I was here for a mathematical psychology seminar, and we were very well taken care of at Jogar Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quite relaxed about having 35 students in the hotel, playing in the game room until late evening. We felt welcomed and treated well as guests. Nice place, with a really fine sauna and steam cabin. The rooms are big enough with nice cubboards. There are no mosquito nets on the windows, which can be problematic in summer. The walls are also very thin.If you get a room next to a family with little children you can only sleep when they do.

When you put it in context everything was ok. Decent, simple, amenities not too new. But good breakfast and close to the lake. Nice parking lot. The only thing that bothered us was a total lack of information in at least English tempting e-menu for dinner? Sure, if you speak Hungarian. But the place was good overall.

Location is fantastic. It is only few minutes away from train station on foot, few minutes away from the beach, few minutes away from the restaurants. It has its own restaurant as well. Breakfast was ok. Room was really clean.

When we arrived again with our almost 2-year-old little girl, I was surprised that instead of last year’s small play corner, there was a larger playroom. Good place, close to Tihany on the South side of Balaton. Room ok with the frigde. Rich breakfast but everything was cold.

Absolutely fantastic. The prices are very good in exchange of the quality of the meals. The view and the feeling of the place is quite unique, also the employees are very friendly and helpful. In addition when you pay you have the opportunity to play dice and if u roll a 6 with all three of the dices the meal is on the house. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend, best place around town.

Almost ready in its new shape inside! Nice modern room design, great kitchen and staff. Warm water takes time in the shower but if you open the tap in time then no bad surprise. Recommend place for sure
