Very pleasant English speaking staff, specially the owner Sanyi (read as Shanyi). The hotel is on the Lake with well kept loan and ladder to enter the Balaton lake. Walking distance are shops, bars and restaurants. I saw signs of a night club not far. The breakfast is good. The rooms are basic. So is the price. Excelent choice for the money.

The hotel location is pretty good. Staff speaks German as well. The rooms are very clean but could use a 21st century update. Unfortunately the towel policy is a bit odd. We got one medium sized towel for the whole stay and a literal table cloth for the pool/sauna which was absolutely useless, after asking we did not receive another towel we could use for the pool/sauna area. Most probably the best 3-star hotel I have ever seen. It beats most 4 star hotel’s mid-range rooms.. The food is amazing, price of food/accomodation is on the higher side but feels justified. Most of the staff is also amazing and helpful! If you have the chance, go for room II. or any other room in the same building..you wont regret it!

Friendly staff. Places are large enough. The pool and whirlpools are really nice. The beach of the Balaton lake is about 15 min walking from the camping, this is a payed beach but worth a visit. The toilets and showers are clean enough. However, there is no hot water to do the dishes and the showers are also not really hot.

For me magic place, wonderful owners, homemade breakfast, close to the balaton. Wonderful garden with pool, jackuzii, sauna -outside. You can make barbecue, there is big table, benches to sit. Children and dog friendly place. You can buy local, homemade specialities. For sure i want to come back there. Time is going much more slower in this grrat atmosphere.

Kakadu hotel is situated in a quiet piece of town. There is a gas-station approximately 100-150 meters away. The personnel was very nice and they spoke German and English. Breakfest is buffet type and I found it tasty. I can only recommend this hotel.

If it didn't cost a night in this guesthouse, how much it costed, I would say that it's a great guesthouse, but considering the high price, it's not worth it. The walls are very thin, every night someone will disturb you, and since there is no one at the reception at 10 pm, you have nowhere to complain. The place was so nice and quiet. The room was clean, fully remodeled and with new furniture (and it smelled SO good). Also, the recepcionist gave us a warm welcoming and she was so nice to us, which we were thankful for after a long trip.

The Outside doesn't look so nice, this is the first view! But if you meet the Girls by your Check-in, the are so friendly, you see your Room, nice and clean! You can walk in 5 minuets to the Lake Balaton, to visit the Beach, find a good spot to eat and much more. Also the Breakfirst was good, and the parking spot is direkt in front of the Hotel. Long weekend Hotel is nicely located in Badacsony. Close to the lake and ship station. Many restaurants and coffee shops are close.

We loved our two night stay at Bonvino. The hotel is very conveniently located a short distance from the train and bus stations and near plenty of wineries. The spa was clean and relaxing. The food spreads for breakfast and dinner were excellent and beautifully presented. I would return.

The hotel is ok, but compared to other hotels at the Balaton, it’s got room for improvement. The room wasn’t really clean with hairs in the shower and next to the sink. No drinks in the mini bar and snacks wasn’t exactly inviting. The breakfast was really nice, but the evening meal was not appetising at all due to all the meats being very dry. All in all, the hotel is fine for the price.

Live in Budapest, this is written more for tourists to Hévíz and the Ensana Thermal Aqua. Easy to access by public transport direct by Volan Bus from Budapest, or train from the Budapest Déli or south station in Buda, to Keszthely, then frequent buses to Hévíz (10 minutes). On foot from the bus station Ensana Thermal Aqua was easy to find, about 20 minute walk, use the central lake as your destination...

Very good. We have been there many times. Thermal pools are new and very nice. The rooms are newly decorated and beautiful. Food and drinks are at a solid level. I would give it 5 stars of it was a 3-star hotel, but they claim to be 4-star. As a 3-star hotel, I have no complaints about them. They are very reasonable priced. The staff is very polite. The rooms are clean, and it is the closest hotel to the lake. Other 4-star hotels in the area are much nicer inside and have better food.

No reviews since 2018 . . . let's update things in November 2023. The entire hotel has been beautifully renovated and is worthy of a four star rating. The design and architecture are really super and they are currently building a new thermal water spa. All new furniture and great design everywhere. Good parking. HOWEVER . . . . whether Covid has hit them, or maybe they just can't get the right staff...

It's a big, busy (in August), probably late socialist-era resort hotel that's actually quite pleasant. And cheap. There's a holiday vibe. For an overnight stay it's excellent and I wouldn't have minded staying longer. I didn't try any of the many "health"/beauty treatments on offer but they're inexpensive. (The lifts/elevators are few and slow.)

Nice quiet hotel just in center of Hévíz. Terasse, garden with chairs and table tennis. Free WiFi, free entry to big welness world in Danubius hotel just 150m away (5 pools with different temperature, badminton court, several different saunas). Small welness is even in Park Hotel, not tested. No elevators (!), no dogs. Delicious breakfasts from 7 to 10, dinners must be ordered in advance.

This is the most cost-effective hotel in our entire trip, with the lowest price and breakfast and dinner included. The hotel has hot springs, but we didn't prepare for hot springs because we were a little hesitant about mixed bathing for men and women. The room was very big.

The wellness area is nice and tidy, but other than that, I can't say too much good. What made me write a review is that one of the ladies with glasses in the restaurant regularly publicly criticizes the guests who have just left, which I think is extremely humiliating.

A comfortable stay The location is great. It’s close to the lake and about a 20-minute walk from the bus station. It’s new, clean and well designed. The service is good, the bed is comfortable and the food is very delicious. The pool is a little small.

Very satisfied. The room is a bit old and simple, just like ordinary hot spring hotels in China, but clean, with complete facilities, and no slippers. The restaurant is delicious! The hotel itself does not have hot springs, but it has SPAs. It is also very close to the Heviz Hot Springs, which is two or three minutes' walk away. There is a parking lot. Only adults are accepted.
