Very pleasant English speaking staff, specially the owner Sanyi (read as Shanyi). The hotel is on the Lake with well kept loan and ladder to enter the Balaton lake. Walking distance are shops, bars and restaurants. I saw signs of a night club not far. The breakfast is good. The rooms are basic. So is the price. Excelent choice for the money.

Very nice people nice ,good food and Ballaton was great and it's not deep ideal for kids as long as they stay near the shore line in places where they have made beaches

Simple hotel, very friendly staff. Everything was very clean. Pool with sauna and steam bath. Breakfast ok. Rooms are air-conditioned. So the windows can stay closed and you can't hear the train. Simple rooms with TV and fridge.

We were satisfied with everything. The staff was very kind and direct, the room met all our needs. The hotel is in a frequented location, close to the beach. We were also able to store our bike in a safe, closed place. We look forward to seeing you again!

Beautiful, clean, well maintained hotel with a pool. Has its own on- premise parking lot, parking is not an issue. Located between the harbor (which has an own small beach) and the large beach. The breakfast is excellent and the owners are super friendly. In the backyard there is a volleyball court. Balatonmáriafürdő is a nice location, with lots of shops, eateries and bars. I recommend this place

This place is pure gold! Lovely owners, very helpful. Looking for a relaxing place in the Balaton Area. This is the place you should go for. Awesome Breakfast, everything you need is in walking distance. Wont be my last visit for sure!

Nice place to stay for the cyclist. The owner was very helpful to hide the bikes for a night which we really appreciate. Our room was fine and it was clean.

We always stay there for a night when crossing Hungary, so that we make our trips more enjoyable. The host is very welcoming, rooms are clean and tidy. No air conditioning, so only giving it 3 stars, since that is a huge plus

the location of the hotel is very good, the yard is nice, and there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast is a specific pleasure, even the assessment of large complexes, there is no such assessment, it is delicious and of that choice, special thanks for the breakfast

Allergen-free, sterilized rooms. Exceptional hospitality, excellent staff. In the restaurant they are offering locally sourced meat specialities. Great place for families with children as well, because they have playrooms, playgrounds, and toys.

Most probably the best 3-star hotel I have ever seen. It beats most 4 star hotel’s mid-range rooms.. The food is amazing, price of food/accomodation is on the higher side but feels justified. Most of the staff is also amazing and helpful! If you have the chance, go for room II. or any other room in the same building..you wont regret it!

Tranquil location. Professional staff. Modern, super clean and comfortable rooms with everything you need. Nice breakfast. The hotel restaurant serves mostly meat based dishes but is well worth trying.

One of the best steak restaurants in Hungary, always visited when i nearby. Prices fair for good steaks. Stuff polite and helpful, dogs allowed at the garden tables.

It is a nice hotel, there are definitely a few pros and cons to consider. Breakfast is good but nothing too special. Dinner is always very good, i have never had anything that was not excellent! The rooms are simple but nice, the bathrooms could be a little bit cleaner. Sometimes the shower is not looking that great... All things considered it is still a nice place to stay.

Hotel is located in a beautiful are on Lake Balaton. Rooms have balcony and are decorated with modern furniture. Breakfast is good and service is fair to good. View from the room is amasing. Most people from the hotel speak german or english but everybody is polite and willing to help.

Great 1 night stop over on our Lake Balaton cycling trip. Our room was big but it was the disabled room so not sure if all rooms are this size. Lovely helpful staff and we had a great evening meal here. Peaceful night sleep and a superb buffet breakfast from 7.30, outdoor seating plentiful. Reasonable price. Would have got 6 stars if it had a table tennis table. 😀

Very expensive, clean. You can communicate mainly in German. English is spoken by the staff on a basic level. Nothing to do up there. Only for guys with yaht and etc..

The hotel location is pretty good. Staff speaks German as well. The rooms are very clean but could use a 21st century update. Unfortunately the towel policy is a bit odd. We got one medium sized towel for the whole stay and a literal table cloth for the pool/sauna which was absolutely useless, after asking we did not receive another towel we could use for the pool/sauna area. If we knew about that...

The room is only 3 stars but the dinner is royal! The hospitality perfect and the park is nice. There is inside pool which is also good.

Wonderful, very well-kept apartment and top outdoor area. Full equipment available - nothing was missing. The location was ideal - a few minutes' walk to the lake, shops and restaurants. Gladly again.

Place very clean. The apartment has a TV with satellite, efficient air conditioning, full kitchen equipment. The rooms clean bedding. A generally accessible swimming pool for guests, laundry, games, sheds, benches. The property is closed by a remote control gate. Nice family environment, friendly people and food service. Unfortunately, they don't speak a word in English, so I had to run with Google translate with each request. This part of Balaton is quiet and kinda retro. This wouldn't fit everyone, but I liked it.

A lovely place in a very quiet area of Lake Balaton. The owner was very helpful with a particular problem. There is a very nice restaurant here also. The room was very pleasant, looking out over the Hungarian countryside. A nice environment all round. The best feature of Balatonbereny in general is the excellent beach by the campsite. We have been coming to this restaurant for 20 years. The quality of the food is consistently good. Everything is freshly prepared and it can happen that a dish has run out. This shows me a fresh origin of the dishes. It would be nice if this place stayed for a long time.

Totally correct, clean and tidy room in terms of value for money. With its own free parking lot. Very nice accommodation with taxes. Delicious breakfast, you can choose from a variety of hot and cold dishes, tea, coffee, orange juice. Unfortunately, the internet did not work in our room. There is no heating in the bathroom, so it feels cold in autumn/winter.

We found this accommodation on Szállás.hu in the middle of a bicycle tour. We checked in for 1 night, but they still welcomed us. The building and the rooms were very beautiful and sophisticated. The place has the best, fantastic charm in spring and autumn. I love coming back here, always. It is in the best place in the area, with a view of everything that can be seen. You won't be disappointed here, just fully recharge yourself, even in bad weather, only good things can happen to you.

Really nice place to spend a week or so, good for biking, and some watersport also. The property has a nice pool, we were spending a lot of time there. Also there are several exceptional wineries in the area, with very good local vines.

Very nice hotel and nice staff. They helped us with everything, even with the way to the train. The village is not the most beautiful one on Balaton, but you can use bikes of the hotel to explore the region.

Mr. Gustav with his wife and nice hotel Villa Astoria was beatiful experience. Hotel has friendly and warmy atmosphere, nice services, very comfort rooms and swimming pool. Our family recommend the stay in Balatongyorok and hotel Villa Astoria with 'all ten fingers". It was pleasure to stay there and we will be happy to return to Villa Astoria and Balaton lake next time 😀.
