Where to stay in Balatonvilagos

Old buildings and only CASH! Really? What year you guys live in? The little booths close to the lake are good and the lake is also nice

The location is amazing but unfortunately is not well managed for the following reason: 1. Generaly is clean and i order but the infrastructure are becoming from the comunist era; 2. The only very nice night attraction for guests of any age, that was called RETRO DISCO, was closed due to the presence of uneducated and unattended persons belonging to the local minorities. There star hotel, rooms are to be paid in advance, rooms are clean and have the feeling of the eighties (which reminded me of my childhood). Breakfast is OK, prices are low compared to other places so close to the lake Balaton.

Beautiful landscape, huge trees, green all over! Hotel rooms are not so nice. Beach is perfect! They charge you for dog 3000 Forints/night but you got nothing for your money! Dogs are not allowed on the beach, they have to be leashed everywhere. Lot of kids program, playground.

Great experience here with small children. Friendly staff and really nice meal both for breakfast and dinner. I can recommend them.

Great place, but in case you don't speak hungarian, you really have a problem 😃 Languages like english, german, italian or czech don't work here

We enjoyed a delicious evening meal right on the Balaton waterfront. Food and service excellent! We will be back.

Superb Hotel with beautiful view on the Balaton. Great service, cozy rooms, and delicious dishes. Has a private beach, you can swim anytime. We were here on a wedding and it was amazing!

We picked it as our wedding location, and it was a great decision! The staff is super nice and flexible. There are lots of flowers everywhere and the garden is also pretty.

We had a family gathering here that I liked a lot. The food offered was excellent. The restaurant, the conference room, the garden and even the rooms are spacious and nicely maintained. The hotel has its own beach, but also indoor fitness area with sauna and jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly, always smiling and helpful.

The best hotel hotel in Balaton area. The services was extremely great and i thank Anna so much for a wonderful job. The staff are very nice and friendly and the location is the best next to lake side. The food was really good. Highly recommended and i will be back again next year by God's grace.

We are from Switzerland and have been there last year and it was beautiful. The staff was excellent and the hotel is really nice. The rooms are clean and superb. The very best thing is the location and the privat beach to Lake Balaton. You have to see the sunset from the hotel, you never gonna forget it. It is highly recommended.

The place is beautiful. We held our wedding here last year. The food was good, they were helpful in everything. We also maintain a good relationship with the owner. Unfortunately, it has deteriorated a lot this year. The menu is boring and noticeably fresh .. (!) The food. 3x I try to make an appointment for a lunch by the end of August (!) For 2 people .., all three times they didn't have any traffic...

Wonderful food in the restaurant! We tried the Gulasch, the steak and the Parmesan Chicken - all 5*! Also do not miss the Dreher Bak - dark caramel beer (mmmh). The hotel has a whole new renovated set of rooms and the personal are very friendly :)

We recommend the Bauer Villa Bungalow to everyone! For those who care about cleanliness, beautiful surroundings and even like table tennis, do not miss it. Close to the waterfront and the area offers many attractions even in bad weather. And Timi and Gyuri are very kind and helpful!
