Auguszta Hotel es Diakszallo

I would rate it 0 stars if I could. This place is horrible for any student who wishes to stay here. The kitchen is so small and very difficult to cook in the fire alarm is extremely sensitive so you will be fined 9000 forint for setting it off. The cleaning staff barge in to ur room to clean ur place at their own convenience so not at fixed date or time. So if u need some much needed rest after a long week of studying too bad that’s not gonna happen. My advice to all students please get an accommodation not suggested by the university. There are many affordable places online on great forest website and Facebook student accommodations

I strongly suggest people avoid this establishment. I chose to stay here because it was advertised and linked by the University of Debrecen. I agree with the other 1-star reviews in their critiques. If you still decide to move here, I would like to add a warning: check if everything is functioning before moving in. Unfortunately, I didn't do this and am now being charged 64,000 Forints for a TV that was already broken.

The hotel is much worse than expected. Long-term accommodation is very expensive and the facilities in the room are old：the sink sometimes didn't work well ; The sink is often clogged and sometimes the water that comes out is brown. The cooking stove can not work properly. Bedsheets stained and linted. Reception staff and Security personnel are unfriendly and impatient. The process is slow and cumbersome, and sometimes extra fees are charged.

The approximate 250000huf monthly rent wouldn’t be an absolute RIP OFF if

1-the rooms didn’t look like it would only cost you half of that price.

2-the location wasn’t one of the worst possible places in campus.

3-if you couldn’t hear your neighbors and the people in the corridor extremely clearly.

4-the wifi was stable or if not at least free.
(and not cost an additional 10000huf)

5-the tap water here didn’t taste suspicious and have a brown tint on it from time to time.

6-the flow of the sinks weren’t so terrible that even cooking oil couldn’t be discarded there.

7-the fire alarms weren’t rigged to collect additional fines from unsuspecting tenants and to deter them from using the stoves or cooking at all.

8-you could get at least 4 laundry coins/month instead of 2/month.

9-the gym was open 24/7.

10-the fridge wasn’t so minimalistically small. (especially the freezer, it was so small that it took me just over a month to realize it existed)

11-the stoves weren’t unbelievably slow.

12-the stoves weren’t at a slight incline because of the poor structure.

These are just some of the reasons why most, if not all students move out of this place after the initial contract expires.
