There is one cool guy in particular called Zsolt, who gave us lots of information about the city and the footballclub. He also introduced us to Hungarian beer which was probably one of the best beers I ever had

We stayed here with our kids, and it was a great choice. The location is perfect — right next to Nagyerdő Park and just a 5-minute walk from Aquaticum. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time

Our room was clean, big, and very comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the playroom, and they loved the little sightseeing train that leaves from the hotel. Breakfast was tasty with lots of fresh food to choose from

Its a sad thing we have to get up early every morning because it is way to enjoyable at the bar every evening. If I'm ever going back to Debrecen, I will go back to Divinus for sure

If you want to have a reminiscent experience in a old dated hotel, this is a must go! Plenty of abandoned sections of the building will make you feel as if you made a trip to Chernobyl

The hotel is an impressive building that unfolds many surprises, from an old abandoned section to what looks like a Russian elevator that can withstand an atomic blast

Some rooms are just falling apart while you can enjoy a minimum offer breakfast in a pretty impressive hall. My recommendation: go for it!

Good enough for as stay but ain't the perfect place

Came here on a Saturday and the experience was good, there’s a water park, thermal pool and sauna world (would recommend paying for this as soooo worth it and lots of variety)? The thermal pools were good, about 6 and a variety of temperatures and the water park had some good pools, overall a good way to spend the day

A very nice aqua park, big and with many possibilities to relax. There are many pools with thermal water, fresh water, with ultrasonic waves, slides. Upstairs, inside the aqua park, place to eat

Beautiful and renovated swimming pool in Debrecen. 43€ per family per day for the outdoor and indoor swimming pool. There are plenty of snacks at affordable prices. We will definitely return there with the children

We came here from Romania, so comparing with what you can find in our country it is perfect. It was clean enough, different types of pools inside for kids and adults also.

The entrance and the facilities you choose are paid only at the end. There is also a pool with cold and warm water, a salt room and a relaxation room

Best place for famaliy vacation at Debrecen !!!! We will defenetly will return for another time The aqua park is great!!! You can stay there for at least 3-4 hours a day! Breakfast was very good Dinner was ok , a lot of drinks options Room was big and nice

A nice swimming pool on the top floor is never crowded and the use is free to hotel guests. The choice of food at the restaurant is good, and most of the staff speak at least English

The hotel is located in a perfect location, within walking distance to the central area, shopping malls, etc. Most of the rooms are spacious and perfectly fine for even longer stays (I was there for nearly a month)

I really loved staying here in the midst of COVID. They were extremely clean and followed all safety rules and regulations. The front desk staff were always very courteous and ready to answer any questions

A rich buffet breakfast is served every day. The underground garage is available for free to guests. A large square behind the hotel is often used for various cultural events

Rooms facing the park are large and relatively quiet. Rooms facing the main street can be noisy and are quite small with old TV sets. Bathrooms are generally ok, but the shower cabin could be designed much better

Bean soup is very good with red onion. And the food in general is good. It's very relaxing to sit on the terrace and serve good food here. Kind and helpful staff, just like those at Villa Hotel, kind and friendly

Great little hotel located near the thermal swimming pool in parovoi area. There is free Parking. The rooms are cozy and comfortable.

Krúdy's harcsapaprikás was outstanding, featuring tender catfish in a rich paprika sauce, along with delicious juhturós sztrapacska. The Schnitzel made for a great Sunday lunch choice

Excellent food and service. If you are lucky enough you can hear the lions roaring from a distance. Good value for money. Love it

A decent place to have a lemonade or a coffee next to the park. Locals say that the food in the restaurant section is also good.

The desserts were a real treat, particularly the Rákóczi-style crêpe, which was light, sweet, and topped with fluffy meringue

Nice for temporary accomodation

A place in the Big Forest where you can stay on a relatively good price.

Comfortable, tidy and clean rooms. However a whole renewal would be necessary after all these years. The dishes in the all-you-can-eat restaurant are tasty, recommend it while you rest here.

The only reason I'll give it a 3 stars is the insect infestation. More insects than I could've cared for. Other than that, the hotel is great, reception is great

Hope to return again at a different time of the year so we can enjoy the other outdoor facilities. Staff were ultra helpful Only thing to mention. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room as standard

This place is a huge facility with a lot of attractions such as thermal pools, carts, playgrounds for kids and much more. There is a good restaurant with delicious dishes

Room was immaculate, spacious and had a lovely forest view. We ate in the hotel in the evening and had incredible food. Breakfast has a lot of choice as well

Super comfy beds and the linen feels silk. Polite and friendly staff accommodate guests needs. I choose duck breast with apple croquettes

Reception did provide a kettle for us when asked, but we provided our own tea and coffee. Other than that it was faultless

The most beautiful in Debrecen and cozy:) the Unusual architecture of the mill itself single room as the room the Miller's daughter, beautiful in General and in detail, with a comfortable bed, a solid beautiful furniture and a spacious bathroom(with window and Underfloor heating!)

The only problem is so cozy here that do not want to go. the Hotel is a solid 5!!! to me it is very comfortable. And magical girl at the reception, intelligent, with a pleasant voice and speaks excellent English

What an amazing food in the restaurant. Authentic interior design with free parking front of the hotel is a big plus. Huge portions and many variations of food on the menu. I'd definitely recommend if you near by

We haven't felt like hotel guests, more like intruders. They should have offer us a table far away from the bar or outside as the weather was great, to give us a bit of privacy (they chose a table for us)

perfect for families with kids! It's in middle of the city Debrecen, with own parking space, very safe! We stayed 1 night, with 2 kids, had dinner and breakfast. we just felt like home! Prices, affordable for everyone!!!

There's no option to stop directly in front of the hotel to leave ir pick up the luggage, as there is no space for this (parking or even stopping for couple of minutes is forbidden on the closest streets) Breakfasts are really poor and disappointing

Very nice hidden place to have a dinner or perfect lunch with your family. Try the Milford tea selection, Gulyas soup, pancake. You won't be disapointed.

Pros. Good enough for a short stay. Breakfast is ok though I miss some vegetables. Good wifi, great location, quiet and safe. Cons. They accept only cash. The pillows are too uncomfy.

We got a three-storey room, the room had everything we needed: refrigerator, microwave, cutlery, hair dryer. Within walking distance of a hypermarket, 10 minutes walk to the center

Basic, a little old. We got a room where there was a door between the next room and a guest's alarm clock rang from 6 am to 8 am :) That's why the penser is still worth 1-1 esters and the owner was also flexible.

Wonderful! It is lovingly rustic and that is fantastic. Very nice hosts. It is in the middle of the forest, 12 km from the village. Quiet, horses and a goat, the frogs are there too. We'll be back when we're around.
