Hotels with sauna in Gardony

The hotel staff is great, the food was very good. The wellness section is is quite big compared to the hotel size

The one thing I was not totally satisfied is the temperature of the steam cabin, a bit warmer would be better

The swallow problem described above has also been solved: a net has been stretched out on the balconies, and little birds are happily nesting above the entrance below. The only negative is perhaps the size of the room

The wellness and outdoor spa area was also quite spacious for us. It is unfortunate that you could not swim on the free beach next to the hotel because it is prohibited by a sign. But it's not the hotel's fault

We spent a few days here with two small children. The food was varied and delicious. We have already visited many hotels in Hungary, but they can surprise you with really tasty food in few places

It is very scarce for families, and we couldn't put the wet swimsuit or towels anywhere, only on the chairs on the balcony. This, in turn, only works in the summer

Friendly service, nice, modern rooms, waterfront, near the stand, delicious breakfast, cozy communal spaces, shaded closed parking lot. I recommend.

The Hotel is fantastic, a real gem of the area. At first sight, I had the feeling of an oasis. Kind, helpful, friendly staff.....

The rooms are nice, but there are a few things I don't really like: - the Atrium is very close to the railway tracks, because of this you can hear all the noise in the room, in addition, a train comes every 5 minutes - if some hardcore party is going on in the neighboring campsite, you can hear everything in the room - not all rooms have air conditioning (!) - most of the rooms are glazed, so the room...

Good sides: - Destination is good and very close to a small beach which you can access for free(good for everyone besides kids under the age of 6-7) - Food was delicious (breakfast with good variety for everyone)! - Inside the hotel was quiet and fancy - On site there are games like Darts, Billiard, Table tennis

Good for couples but not too much of equipment and things for families with kids(not blaming the hotel, just for info for future travelers) - The doors of the Rooms/Apartments were partly from glass and all inside rooms with similar doors, which respectively lets the light from the hotel itself inside the rooms

- Hotel itself has no corridors when accessing the rooms, but it's like one main area and open space with the lobby being actually outside of the apartments/rooms and you could hear everything from the lobby(people, breakfast, dinner, etc

There is something for everyone, sauna, bicycles provided, a walk to the nearby Lake Velence or just relaxing in the beautiful garden and having a barbecue

Two days later we had the whole house to myself :) Cozy, romantic place, perfect for a weekend for couples :) At the reception we received a fruit basket and champagne. First and foremost, clean and not expensive

Perhaps the most demanding accommodation I've been lucky enough to have so far. Congratulations! 🙂

The saunas are good, but the 'main' sauna is so small it can only fit a maximum of 12 people, and so if you want to go to the seance/infusion you have to get a ticket in advance hours beforehand

The hotel is heavily understaffed, and everything is very slow. Wellness is not maintained, half of saunas are turned off to save energy cost. They have never heard about customer focus

Out of the Hungarian vacation time, the service was still very good. Each and every area are clean, everything is prepared for the children, even if they were only a few at this time. Food is fine with Hungarian dishes

Liked the location right next to the beach at Lake velence. The rooms are nice and the food is quite good. We had breakfast and dinner included in our stay. Quite pricey though.

Wonderful place. Nice room, polite staff. Food is nothing special, but you won't be hungry. The spa itself is ok, but rather dirty. All in all, it is recommendable.

The pool/jakuzzi area is quite nice and since it's indoors you don't need to worry about the cold! We were there on a small conference weekend and the conference room was spacious and came in very handy for those late nights

A cute hotel right on the Velence lake shore. really nice view and generally on a very beautiful spot. It has 2 billiard tables and a mini pingpong which is a pretty nice way to spend your afternoon

Check out at 10 was too early. There's no private beach, it's close to the lake. Room 23 had air conditioning which was great. The place looks like it's not being managed, a lot of things look broken for a long time

Overpriced, too expensive and seems quite abandoned. Was the only thing we found and it was not too bad but for that money there were better things, we were told 40 euros the night but it was per person

Cute hotel, but some of the rooms are somewhat oppressive. Food was OK, right beside the beach but has no direct beach access due to vegetation.

The food is superb, for a really affordable price, we were surprised how delicous the meals were. The beach is very close which is also a positive. If you don't have high needs, then this is a good place for you

Very kind staff. Clean and big rooms. The place is well equiped with a lot of facilities like sauna, swimming pools, steam cabin, infrasauna etc. and nevertheless it is a SILENT place.

It's a lovely spa with polite staff and well equiped facilities, including (surprisingly) high quality 5-a-side pitch (adtroturf, rubber crumb) and clay tennis court + squash court (didn't see the squash court though though so can't comment too much on it)

The staff is really friendly and helpful, the rooms are huge and very very clean and the bed is big and comfortable. The breakfast was good (buffet with meat, cheese, milk, tea. ) in particular the coffee was amazing

Spent a night here following a trip around Hungary during the week of National Day (and en route to Lake Balaton) the location is good, a few mins drive from Lake Velence (walkable If you'd like) and very quiet

We spent 3 days in a wonderful, calm environment. The owner was extremely helpful and kind. The apartment catered for every need and comfort. Clean, nicely, tastefully decorated. Thank you very much for everything!

The place is cosy and comfortable like your old pyjamas. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. Additionally, the hotel offers a large outdoor pool. As a bonus dogs are also welcome

Great staff! Got the room a bit earlier than check-in and got an excellent recommendation of a restaurant in town (since their restaurant was closed due to a group booking)

Viking Hotel is situated in a quiet park like property. As you enter you are transported back to the 1980s. They provide a unit that includes a kitchenette, bathroom and a balcony

Room is spacious and I bet the balcony would be a nice place to relax in the summer
