Where to stay in Godollo

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Romania. The room we had was on the top floor and was quite small and with a sloping ceiling I had to be careful not to hit my head. It was clean and despite being in the middle of the city it was very quiet. The restaurant was very good and we booked the inclusive dinner with an extensive choice. A good place to stay when you are working at the Hungaroring and want to stay close to the track and avoid traffic coming in and out of Budapest. Clean rooms with good air conditioning and all the basics. Buffet breakfast. Safe parking. A gym and wellness corner. The restaurant has a limited menu for dinner but the food is good. Best to book as they often have private parties in the evening.

Situated on the top of the hill it is a beautiful house kept by a friendly and hardworking couple. The view from the amazing garden is breathtaking. The house is clean, traditional and orderly, the service is excellent value.

We spent a very pleasant, quiet peaceful time at the Libya Hotel. Clean, well-equipped accommodation. Offers a great view of the lake while enjoying your food or drink. We visited during a rainy spring day and seemed like will be much more enjoyable in warmer seasons.

Very nice welcome. They got on the train for us too. The room is clean comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the selection was perfect. It is not negative, however, that only the bell of the nearby temple warns of the passage of time.

Basically everything was good, but unfortunately the high street very noisy. All staff members very kind and friendly, helpful. Breakfast was lovely. As a recommendation it's due some renewal.

Very nice and spacious room decorated with paintings. Friendly and informative staff. Convenient location near public transport. Highly recommended

The guest house is a pretty building, very well maintained, clean and full of art. The rooms (at least two) are large and cosy, the beds are soft and comfy. You feel at home. The owners are very nice people. There's also a parking lot that's very convenient. We are happy that we chose the art guesthouse. Also the prices are very affordable. We would come again here.

Our room was very clean, decent, and beds where very comfortable. There was warm water and heating in our room. This hotel has good connection to the city center, only 20-30minutes away. On the other hand, breakfast could have been a lot better and WiFi connection could be stronger. Other than that, I have no complaints.

It is 3 star hotel near highway. I recommend it if you want to watch F1 because it's 15 min away from race track ( Hungaroring) 20 min to city center. City bus stops near hotel and you can go to city center with it. It have swiming pul, restaurant, parking... Room was clean no problem there. It's next to McDonald's and big shopping center.

I didn't stay here but used to dine (stayed at the nearby camping). The restaurant served good food at reasonable prices. The dinner included a bowl of soup, main course and a dessert, usually some fruit. Very healthy and varied meals. Plus vegetarian options, more than one to choose from. Good coffee (there was a coffee machine) and tea.

Nice quiet hotel at the outskirts of Budapest, near the highway ring and the M3 highway. Hotel is clean with it's own small swimming pool. Nice and helpful personnel. Great campsite! We had a great time here. People at the reception were really helpful and it is a perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Budapest, it’s really easy to get around with public transport. We will come back one day.

Excellent campsite. Very safe, we were able to keep windows and doors of our van open at night for ventilation, no problem. One of the most pleasant camping experiences we’ve ever had. Very peaceful and quite. Close to the public transport that will take you to the city centre. No extra charge for hot shower or use of washing machines. And super friendly staff! Highly recommended place!

Extremely nice and relaxed camping, close to city center. Everything was clean and worked. It's easy to go to Budapest by metro and there is also nice trail running paths along the small river and fields. Nice campsite. Like it that they keep the shower spaces warm and clean. Good to know that you have to pay in cash. 1minus point is that we couldn’t do our laundry because of the dog hairs in the washing machine. A very cosy place. It's garden is like a magical garden, with flowers and...cats. The food is excellent, like the serving. It's quite close to Hungarian capital city Budapest. There you can also see the Danube river. The prices are also 5*. There are some parking places for visitors. I highly recommend it.

This place is awesome! The house and the garden is superb. The service is perfect. They serve breakfast and is more then enough. The rooms are clean. If I could, I would give it 6* In 30 min driving you are in Budapest, in 5 min walking you can see and even make a bath in the Danube river.

The accommodation was really nice and clean for a fair price. The only problem was with the doors. It was hard to close them, because they were loose. The reception was available even at night. Everybody was very kind and they even offered a cleaning service. I would 100 % go there again! 💞

Very slow check-in I think it was a trainee but no sign saying so. Dinner, I ordered soup which was served barely lukewarm. Had to get it heated but the flavour was great.

Easy to check, the staff were all very friendly. Breakfast had a large selection of hot and cold options. Room was clean, quiet and dark when the curtains were drawn.

In no ways can I fault this hotel. The staff were lovely and the rooms clean. After reading the other reviews I can definitely say my experience was good and I would definitely stay here again!

The Young Man (berca?) at the reception was truly amazing and it was a plessure having him as a Host. He took care of everything and even late at night he always friendly and dealt with any requests kindly and fast. He made our stay so much better- thank you!

Surprised to see negative reviews. The location is great & the staff helped us a lot over how to get to the center (we got there in 10mins with metro). It was very clean, we stayed there for 3 days & the room was cleaned everyday while we were away. The breakfast was amazing, there were so many options & u could take as much as u wanted. It was also not very expensive.

Nice rooms, there are all the basic things you need but look like they haven't been renowned in a while, I wasn't thrilled about the breakfast either.
