I'll start with the negatives: the toilet seat in the room practically fell off, it took 4 days to fix it. I must add that repairing the damage caused by the big storm consumed a lot of energy and time. The lighting in the bathroom is dim, the card holder that ensures the electricity is hanging, there is no mosquito net (spiders also lived in the room), the air conditioner was set at a fixed 23 degrees...

Beautiful hotel. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners were very delicious. I was very surprised that there is a time for coffee and cookies in the restaurant section in the afternoon. The hotel rooms are small, but we didn't mind that because we were hiking anyway and only spent time there in the evening. Really good quality. 4 stars. But the wellness is available if you ask it. The cake for dinner was same for 3 dinner. In cold weather the window is fully wet inside. Over it all the staff is very kind, the wifi is really available in rooms and the breakfast and dinner is more tha enough.

I have eaten chicken breasts rolled into ham and bacon. The food was really good. Portions can be bigger, but this is "posh" place and i understand designed dish.

Everything was beautiful, ideal hotel for hedonists, food , pool-spa, staff, cant compare with other hotels in this location, only beds was a bit downgrade, there were 2 single beds connected together instead of double bed

Professional service food and staff. We stay guest house close to hotel but it was clean comfortable and spacefull. And off course very good red wine.

The Bock Hotel and the Bock Winery is a fantastic attraction, especially for tourists who do not know that Hungary produces great wines! Its a lovely small hotel with a very good restaurant. The Winery is truly amazing and the visit is really interesting.

My better half and I had a wonderful meal here. Food was excellent and, of course, one has to enjoy at least a couple of wines from the winery. Friendly staff and good service. Warning: bring mosquito repellent if you wish to enjoy your meal on the terrace (or do what we did and sit inside).

This is a very friendly hotel, perfect for a long weekend. We stayed in their guest house down the road, because they ran out of hotel rooms by the time I made the booking. The prices are okay, as is the service, but the food would not be something I would recommend. The soup and the main dish were mediocre at best. The rice, for example, was one of the worst rice I've ever eaten, totally bland and way overcooked. The dessert was pretty good though.

It feels like student canteen (everyone sits at one big table), but the food and the prices were okay anyways. They have vegan options which is a big plus!

We loved this hotel. The room was clean and well equipped (except for a drying rack for swimwear...) and all staff members were helpful, especially the lovely lady in the restaurant. Rooms offered in the old building were spacious, clean but without the desired privacy. Windows were in the main corridor, so passerby lodges could see right through the windows. Rooms in the new building are perfect, so is breakfast and location. Staff good.

Mediocre quality, staff not very helpful. I asked for instant coffee , never got it. The restaurant is being refurbished causing noise. I would have liked to be informed about it at the time of booking. I don't think I will return to this place.

The hotel is modern and nice, staff is nice too, but the beds (which are the most important thing in any hotel) were really really firm, so firm you might as well sleep on the floor, the carpet would be softer probably. Totally broken in all places after sleeping on that bed.

Still there are some inconveniences, notably the rooms with a view to the street are loud especially when the garbage truck is coming 6 in the morning. Second time at this hotel and I can say I would come back again. Great pricing friendly staff, family owned who also works there. Breakfast included in price and considering the hot summer again in Europe the pool facility is a huge bonus. One of my greatest time to cool down in a pool.

OK hotel but feels a bit dated - to reach international standard it would need some modernisation. Air condition works half well, so quite warm in our room. Good location with short walking distance to the city centre. Did not visit the spa area so not able to review that part.
