Where to stay in Harkany

In the heart of Harkány, close to thermal bath. The apartment was clean and qiet big, but the furniture and the whole environment has a strong retro vibe. The price is very reasonable.

The services and the quality offerred would make this place a four star hotel in my opinion. A beautiful outdoor pool and garden, an excellent sauna world in the underground, nice furniture, good staff. Kitchen is also something great to remember.

A very nice hotel within walking distance from the wonderful medicinal thermal baths in Harkany. The hotel is right at the bus stop from Pecs, which makes it easy to get to from the train coming from Budapest. I'll start with the negatives: the toilet seat in the room practically fell off, it took 4 days to fix it. I must add that repairing the damage caused by the big storm consumed a lot of energy and time. The lighting in the bathroom is dim, the card holder that ensures the electricity is hanging, there is no mosquito net (spiders also lived in the room), the air conditioner was set at a fixed 23 degrees...

Beautiful hotel. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners were very delicious. I was very surprised that there is a time for coffee and cookies in the restaurant section in the afternoon. The hotel rooms are small, but we didn't mind that because we were hiking anyway and only spent time there in the evening. The spa area was very good, if you want to take a dip in the afternoon or evening or in the morning...

Really good quality. 4 stars. But the wellness is available if you ask it. The cake for dinner was same for 3 dinner. In cold weather the window is fully wet inside. Over it all the staff is very kind, the wifi is really available in rooms and the breakfast and dinner is more tha enough.

I have eaten chicken breasts rolled into ham and bacon. The food was really good. Portions can be bigger, but this is "posh" place and i understand designed dish.

Hotel infrastructure need some new investments. The swimming pool and spa are ok. Hotel stuff need to learn some english words.

The hotel is mediocre, and the 4-star is about 2-star more than it deserves. The building is quite in a bad shape, pieces of the wall came off inside the rooms. Quiet hotel with its own thermal spa, a decent restaurant with good wine selection, cozy cocktail bar, nice staff. Simple design, comfortable rooms, closed parking place, for moderate prices.

A summary of our four-day stay last summer was a bit late, but in more detail: Although the hotel is located next to a quasi-main road, it is still quiet and cozy. Cleanliness welcomed wherever we went and got up at the hotel, the room was wonderful, equipped with a balcony where it was great to sit out after a tiring day and have a glass of local wine. The receptionists and waiters are super nice...

Lovely place near to everything. Basic IKEA rooms freshly redone. Spotless clean. Own balcony and the nights are so dark you need no window blinds. Breakfast isn't much but the perfect choices are on display. A little bit of everything. Free coffee, tea and fruits really available all day.

Hotel good, food average good. When it was full it was 100% Juice for breakfast, when it was less occupied, Juice was diluted to 10%. It would be good for a website to give a price for a dog. There was 8.6 Euro / day for 1 dog for travelking and the owner wanted to charge us 13.5 Euro for one dog per day, which was 40 Euro more from a 4-day stay with 2 dogs. But I agreed on the price of TRAVELKING

The accomodation is over the theee-star-level, the staff is friendly sympayhetic and always ready to help. The twoo cooks are among the best they prepare the dishes better than in any other five-stars restorants! They deserve congratulation an highest recommendation!

A beautifully and elegantly renovated Bauhaus-style building, which was originally built for this function in the 1930s. In the lobby next to the reception, there is even period-restored furniture. Behind the building, there was originally a well-kept garden with a row of plane trees, which unfortunately had to be truncated due to the motorization of recent decades due to the creation of a gravel parking...

We spent 5 nights in the hotel, in a family double room on the second floor. We were satisfied with everything. The room is clean, well-furnished, with a double terrace, a window with a mosquito net, a sun lounger, table and chairs on the terrace. An excellent hotel, its location, rooms and cleanliness are first class. The owners and staff are extremely helpful. The breakfast is very plentiful and varied. There is an elevator. It has a beautiful, large, aesthetic inner garden, one would not even suspect that behind the modest street facade, such a high-quality hotel is hidden, which would definitely deserve four stars.

The campsite is one of the best and most beautiful I have ever seen in Hungary, it also surrounds the popes. Each plot has a gravel-covered entrance, next to a grassy area, with huge ancient tree shading everywhere. The water block is of western quality, there is cleanliness, the community space is beautiful. It is on the street of the spa, max 10 minutes on foot.

The accommodation is very pleasantly furnished, spacious enough for 2 adults and one child. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, although I found its cord a bit short. Unfortunately, it wasn't hot water. It was just lukewarm. We indicated at the reception. You can pay with a nice card.

The name 'Thermal Camping' is misleading. The thermal bath is outside of the camping ground and the entrance is not included.

Beside place for camping, here you have bungalows and hotel. Rooms are spacious, and very cozy.
