Reviews
Otherwise, the breakfast is plentiful and the cleaning is as it is.
The rooms have air conditioning, no mosquito nets, a small fridge (not a minibar) and a flat-screen TV. It is interesting that out of about 20 TV channels, 19 are in German and one is Hungarian (M2). There is wifi. Most of the guests are foreigners, and there are remarkably many Czechs. Average age 60+ No children's noise. There is also a friendly cat who is used to people and giggles for tasty snacks.
Unfortunately, a negative. Due to a design error in the shower tray, the bathroom of the superior double room (the most expensive and beautifully renovated) is soaked and splashes in the water, which is not only unpleasant but also dangerous. For example, the carpet in the room gets soaked at the threshold just below the outlet. We talked, they said they know about it.
The hotel is pet-friendly, of course it is not worth coming with a dog because where to put it while we are soaking wet all day. He still can't come to take a bath.
It is worth mentioning that the building is listed as a listed building and cannot be converted structurally, so the rooms are uneven in size and not all of them have balconies. The hotel has a three-story elevator. The toilet in the lobby shines and is very nicely tiled.
The same day's dinner (choose from three courses) must be requested separately at the time of breakfast, no later than what is written on the room bill. Since the dinner time is fixed (from six to eight in the evening), we practically had to drag ourselves back from the spa, so we preferred to eat outside, which is abundantly possible within walking distance on the other side of the spa. I recommend the Hellász restaurant (this is the place of the advertisement), we really liked it.
The breakfast is a generous buffet, everyone could find the breakfast they liked. We had dinner here 3 times, you can choose from 3 menus, our 2 boys and us parents really liked the soups and main dishes, maybe we only said that the Brasov steak was too salty for us (but the beer would have gone well with it). The staff is willing, kind and direct.
All in all, our stay was definitely pleasant and the location is unbeatable (walking across the road, we are right at the entrance to the spa). We will definitely be back. 😊
