This, you came to rest. Wanna bath? Go ahead, they have one. Sauna? Several. Steamcabin? you bet. Programs? A lot. A game center, a place where you can work peacefully too, sometimes small markets in the lounge, your car...

Very, very nice. It was built in the 1830s, as I recall. It is very pretty. Huge garden. Beautiful stained glass windows. An interesting walking path or two. We had a large balcony that was very nice. We were there on night so we did not get to take advantage of everything. I would recommend at least two nights if you want to take advantage of everything available.

This hotel is beautifully located at the edge of the national park, offering a stress-free environment. The helpful personnel speak English and provide excellent service. The hotel has been recently renovated. The wellness area and pool are meticulously clean, as are the rooms, which are also quiet and comfortable. This review relates to the restaurant only. This impressive looking grand hotel is steeped in history and tradition. The air conditioned dining room is huge and has an adjoining terrace with views. We were told to find a table that we liked after which the problems began. We waited more than ten minutes for menus to be provided to us. Then, having ordered we waited, what must have been a good 20 minutes...

The food was great, and the terrace has a great view to the lake, and it's shady even in a hot summer day. Beware, there are an awful lot of stairs in the place, but it's no surprise as the whole area is located between hills.

A classic hotel with fully updated rooms, very comfortable beds and a great restaurant. We loved the walk around the lake and the gardens and falls.

A group of us stayed for three nights. The staff was super friendly and attentive to all our needs. Loved the rooms as each was decorated beautifully and in a different style. The restaurant served a wonderful variety of delicious food so we decided to eat all our meals there. This place is well worth a visit for a few relaxing days to unwind and enjoy nature. After riding the Lillafured train we stopped here for lunch. The view of the lake was fantastic. The quality of the food and service was what you would expect from an establishment such as this…excellent! Strongly recommend eating here!

Looks good outside but the room is regular quality, the bed should be changed for new one, smell like an old building. And bathroom should have electric motor ventilation, not just a hole, no windows outside for the bathroom. For 12800 ft per night, comparing with other places in Hungary and in Miskolc which looks much better, quality is not good.

Nice place nearby to the cave bath. A little bit weird view from the window to the hill, but cozy place with comfortable bed and really good breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Worth its price. Especially if you're going to the cave bath.

The hotel itself is not very appealing not the rooms themselves, recommended only if you spend minimal amount of time inside. The staff was nice and the breakfast was surprisingly delicious in my opinion, so I'm giving 4 stars (but the room itself does not deserve more than 3).

The rooms are very dated in design and the furniture is clearly very well worn. My bedsheets were moist upon arrival and they felt very uncomfortable when trying to sleep. Not to mention the lack of AC was almost unbearable due to the ongoing heatwave during the time of my visit. Staff seemed nice, though I didn't run into them much. The food was good in my opinion. Nice place to stay. Clean rooms and kind staff. They have a great indoor wellness so you can try it even if the weather is cold outside. The thermal spa is a short walk from the hotel. We like the room but I missed my balcony. But let it be the biggest problem I recommend to stay here.

We chose the hotel for its location, 2 minutes from the bath cave, and we did not regret the decision. The staff was very friendly, the room was large and clean, the small June and the dinner were very varied. We did not manage to enjoy the hotel spa, given the fact that we only stayed one day, but we will definitely return.

I just spent two nights at Fortuna Hotel. My room was small but clean and I had everything that I needed. The staff was so nice. They assisted me in every way..bringing me my laundry..bringing me the most delicious meals. I sad to have to leave!

If you are introvert thn this ia the best hostel for you. as a international student E6 is dedicated to the international (scholarship holder) and Uni hotel for sekf paying and research scholars. As a traveller it's a very good hotek with a unique view just infront of the Stadium.

I really liked this place :) very simple, clean, it has 24h reception service, there is an affordable café right next to the hotel with a simple but delicious menu, even coffee is rather tolerable :) I can only recommend staying here.

The hotel is very well suited, near the university, but in a quite place. Miskolctapolca is easily approachable from here, by bus, or car. The hotel rooms are spacious, you can even cook in the apartments. You have possibilites for massage too. The bar have nice drinks too. You can even eat there, its not like a michelin star restaurant, but the dishes are tasty, and the prices arent in the sky neither...

It was a nice, very comfortable hotel with a good breakfast. It is just a short walk into the town square or a hike up to the mast for a great view of the area. It was during the heatwave, but the hotel was a good temperature. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I would rate it at all about 4.4 because we had to wait more than a hour. If I only rate the food only then it is 4.8. The cause of the 0.2 deduction is that the portions weren't that big(or maybe just mine, because others were ok with the size). The service was perfect. Prices start at 4400 HUF. Everyone decides if that's much or not. But how the foods looked was gorgeous, as you can see on the pictures

It's okay for a short business stay if you don't expect too much. It's a very basic place and needs substantial renovation. Bathroom conditions are shameful. Hot summer days can be really hot as most of its room are without A/C. The staff is very friendly and helpful though.

Nice hotel at an excellent location with a lot of facilities!

This is a fantastic place, a resort in the beautiful Szilvásvárad. You can stay in houses with kitchenette, two bedrooms, living room. It has a fireplace and free wifi. The breakfast is excellent, great choice, and dinner containt 8-10 varieties of hot dishes. The resort has wellness facilities too.

We had New Years Eve, altogether 2 nights in this hotel. We had a great experience. We stayed at one of the apartment houses with cozy rooms, kitchenette, sitting room. The brekfast and dinner were fine. The New Years Eve party including the dinner, drinks and entertainment was awesome. I recommend to spend some days, as well as New Years Eve here.

My wife and I were the guests of the pension from 15 to 20 August. Asking for a little patience, he reworked the bookings so that we could have a place at that time without changing rooms. Would be 4.5 stars. Great view nice food, reasonably close to the city centre. The rooms are a bit small but tidy and neat. Overall recommended if you don't look for pure luxury.

We stayed here for two nights while wine tasting in Eger. What a lovely spot. We had a nice little apartment (room 6 - although not so great for my husband who is 6’5” because we were on the top floor and the ceilings slanted. Glad he survived.). This is a lovely location with parking for guests (for an extra charge). Quite a bargain and a lovely place.

This hotel can be described as one big warm hug. The husband and wife owners man the front desk and are honestly the sweetest hosts. They both speak German and a little English which was great as we know a little bit more German than we do hungarian. This is one of my favorite location in Eger. It is a fantastic location right next to the castle wall in the middle of downtown. You can feel the history and the culture radiates from the walls of the building! Actually it is an interesting fact that they used some of the stones from the castle when the hotel was built. Even during Covid they are creative to offer some drinks outside for the tourists...
