Guys, if you want luxury, friendly staff, excellent foods, drinks, big bed, good view, this is the place. I always forget to write a review, but I've been here several times already. This, you came to rest. Wanna bath? Go ahead, they have one. Sauna? Several. Steamcabin? you bet. Programs? A lot. A game center, a place where you can work peacefully too, sometimes small markets in the lounge, your car...

Very, very nice. It was built in the 1830s, as I recall. It is very pretty. Huge garden. Beautiful stained glass windows. An interesting walking path or two. We had a large balcony that was very nice. We were there on night so we did not get to take advantage of everything. I would recommend at least two nights if you want to take advantage of everything available.

This hotel is beautifully located at the edge of the national park, offering a stress-free environment. The helpful personnel speak English and provide excellent service. The hotel has been recently renovated. The wellness area and pool are meticulously clean, as are the rooms, which are also quiet and comfortable. The food, served in buffet style, is delicious— especially the soups and Hungarian stews...

This review relates to the restaurant only. This impressive looking grand hotel is steeped in history and tradition. The air conditioned dining room is huge and has an adjoining terrace with views. We were told to find a table that we liked after which the problems began. We waited more than ten minutes for menus to be provided to us. Then, having ordered we waited, what must have been a good 20 minutes...

Proper service for this price.

Clean, comfortable, good location, fairly inexpensive. 2 nice restaurants in walking distance. The creek runs buy it. Whoever they didn't upgrade their design for 20+ years.

The hotel is fine and very quiet. The restaurant closes early, so if you plan to eat something, don't wait until it's too late... the nearest restaurant is approximately 1km away, and also closes early! They have a sauna and a "salt room". The latter isn't used often but it's quite interesting, they say it clears your lungs helps you breathe.

Spacious, well equipped rooms, super friendly and accommodating staff and a great location with main attractions being in walking distance. The creek flows right next to the hotel with a beautiful waterfall by the gardens.

We had dinner one night here, our waitress Erika, was fantastic. She was friendly, helpful and prompt. Well priced , good portion sizes and so we returned for lunch two days later. Highly recommend.

We are from Australia and came to Hungary to visit family. We stayed at Hotel Tokert for two nights and it was delightful. The hotel has been lovingly restored and is full of character and elegance. The food was great, and the terrace has a great view to the lake, and it's shady even in a hot summer day. Beware, there are an awful lot of stairs in the place, but it's no surprise as the whole area is located between hills.

A classic hotel with fully updated rooms, very comfortable beds and a great restaurant. We loved the walk around the lake and the gardens and falls.

Lovely cozy hotel, with a few rooms. The interior is fresh, new and we'll designed. The breakfast is continental, "all-you-can" eat. The personnel is kind.

Looks good outside but the room is regular quality, the bed should be changed for new one, smell like an old building. And bathroom should have electric motor ventilation, not just a hole, no windows outside for the bathroom. For 12800 ft per night, comparing with other places in Hungary and in Miskolc which looks much better, quality is not good.

Cheap accommodation on a beautiful countryside.

The pension is beautiful from the outside, with a nice, helpful receptionist. I didn't like the room anymore: uncomfortable bed, non-functioning lamp hanging from the wall. Our room did not have its own direct bathroom, the one we could use had to be accessed through an anteroom, but it was quite disturbing that sometimes strangers walked in front of it. The price-value ratio is absolutely good, as many people have written, the accommodation is really reminiscent of the old days, but they pay great attention to cleanliness, which cannot be said for many other "modern" places. The food is excellent, as is the service. A special plus is that there is no field force, you can be separated from the outside world.

Everything was fine. There is a kitchen and a fridge. Bathroom belonging to the room, balcony. TV, although it's a Vodafone service provider and I couldn't watch the Tour de Franco because Es didn't work, but if you're on vacation you shouldn't watch TV. There is wifi. Air conditioning, but extra. The host is very nice. If someone plans to take a bico and ride it around the area, do a lot of hill training...

Nice place nearby to the cave bath. A little bit weird view from the window to the hill, but cozy place with comfortable bed and really good breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Worth its price. Especially if you're going to the cave bath.

The hotel itself is not very appealing not the rooms themselves, recommended only if you spend minimal amount of time inside. The staff was nice and the breakfast was surprisingly delicious in my opinion, so I'm giving 4 stars (but the room itself does not deserve more than 3).

The rooms are very dated in design and the furniture is clearly very well worn. My bedsheets were moist upon arrival and they felt very uncomfortable when trying to sleep. Not to mention the lack of AC was almost unbearable due to the ongoing heatwave during the time of my visit. Staff seemed nice, though I didn't run into them much. The food was good in my opinion. I don't regret buying the dinner...

Nice place to stay. Clean rooms and kind staff. They have a great indoor wellness so you can try it even if the weather is cold outside. The thermal spa is a short walk from the hotel. We like the room but I missed my balcony. But let it be the biggest problem I recommend to stay here.

We had a great Family stay in this hotel. Location is fantastic, room furniture is bit older but clean. Wellness part needs some improvement but still we enjoyed it. The best here is the stuff which is always very nice and helpful and also tasty meel they serve for breakfast and dinner.

We chose the hotel for its location, 2 minutes from the bath cave, and we did not regret the decision. The staff was very friendly, the room was large and clean, the small June and the dinner were very varied. We did not manage to enjoy the hotel spa, given the fact that we only stayed one day, but we will definitely return.

The staff is very nice but they weren't really at the height of the situation .... It can be chosen from the breakfast menu (we would have been happier with a buffet breakfast if we had half board ....) and the amount is not enough to last us until dinner. Dinner .... Simple accommodation with very retro furnishings. It is worth bringing a power strip, as there is only one outlet per room (this is also true for the kitchen). The apartment is very resonant and unfortunately so are the water pipes. The garden, on the other hand, is very beautiful and tidy. The hosts are nice, they also have a small dog.

I just spent two nights at Fortuna Hotel. My room was small but clean and I had everything that I needed. The staff was so nice. They assisted me in every way..bringing me my laundry..bringing me the most delicious meals. I sad to have to leave!
