Guys, if you want luxury, friendly staff, excellent foods, drinks, big bed, good view, this is the place. I always forget to write a review, but I've been here several times already. This, you came to rest. Wanna bath? Go ahead, they have one. Sauna? Several. Steamcabin? you bet. Programs? A lot. A game center, a place where you can work peacefully too, sometimes small markets in the lounge, your car parks free, the staff is super friendly, I always get a front row chair in the bar while - i mean every evening there is live music - i enjoy it and drink :D They only ask if they can bring the next round. One thing: this is a place where people keep manners, you dress up a bit for breakfast and dinner too. Im begging you to forget shorts and slippers. We spent an Xmas here too, it was truly an experience, a classic ball.

Very, very nice.
It was built in the 1830s, as I recall. It is very pretty. Huge garden. Beautiful stained glass windows. An interesting walking path or two. We had a large balcony that was very nice. We were there on night so we did not get to take advantage of everything. I would recommend at least two nights if you want to take advantage of everything available.

The room was fine, dinner was particularly disappointing, food selection was very limited and scarce, they often ran out of food because they served everything in the first round. The staff at the reception were disrespectful. They never greeted us when we entered or left the hotel, but in the restaurant, waiters were kind and helpful despite the circumstances.

It’s a must stay if you are in the region. Magical garden, spacious room, wellness section with real Finnish saunas! Also worth mentioning the food, which is absolutely amazing. Staff friendly & proficient in English.

The building is nice, but the room was not cleaned (there was dust on top of the closet, and windows were dirty). The food is at best mediocre, but overpriced. The surroundings are nice, but not really well maintained. Northern Hungary, so You should not expect the same understanding of quality as rest of Europe.

Zero stars. We wanted to have dinner but were sent away, with the reason "we are fully booked, we cannot serve you by the menu". I would expect a much better service from a for star hotel.

This hotel is beautifully located at the edge of the national park, offering a stress-free environment. The helpful personnel speak English and provide excellent service. The hotel has been recently renovated. The wellness area and pool are meticulously clean, as are the rooms, which are also quiet and comfortable. The food, served in buffet style, is delicious— especially the soups and Hungarian stews. There are many places to visit nearby if you have a car, but it's also the perfect place to relax when it's raining. The hotel is popular with families with children as well as older couples. Highly recommended!

This review relates to the restaurant only. This impressive looking grand hotel is steeped in history and tradition. The air conditioned dining room is huge and has an adjoining terrace with views. We were told to find a table that we liked after which the problems began. We waited more than ten minutes for menus to be provided to us. Then, having ordered we waited, what must have been a good 20 minutes for our food to arrive. The restaurant was not busy! The food itself was so-so. The trout filet was rather bland and the pork cheeks served in a very salty sauce. As an experience lunch here was disappointing one which I would not recommend.

Wonderful spa experience in a spectacular mountain setting. Views for miles. Lovely staff and very good meals. Lots of healthy thermal waters nearby. Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. Recommend this hotel and surrounding area.
